I have lived in both settings, a house and an apartment before. I have lived in this complex for the past 3 years and I am contented. I chose this complex because it’s obvious the grounds are well maintained. The location is very convenient; it is easy to get onto the freeway(I-15) or to local shopping areas and Edwards Cinemas. The units are spacious and have a good amount of storage space(walk-in, coat and linen closets). Compare to the previous apartment complexes I have lived in, this area is quiet. There is still the usual noise that comes with apartment living(one can hear the squeaky floors, thumping when people walk up the wooden stairs, knocking noises, kitchen appliances such as blenders) but there’s no loud music or TV, and no loud parties. We did have a young couple for neighbors and they would party once in a while but kept the noise at a reasonable level. When it comes to my requests for repairs, the maintenance guy has fixed the problem each time I called. One of the previous reviewers complained about the laundry being overcrowded. I have had the same experience a few times but realized it is a matter of timing as well. So far Saturdays have worked for me better than Sundays.

12 – 26 was away for most of the time during the holidays. The second I got back inside before I could even take my shoes off I could hear the constant banging upstairs. Every. Single. Footstep. Shakes my apartment. This was 3 hours ago. It’s still going ad will go on until 1am. What the hell could they possibly be doing??? Do they constantly just rearrange couches and furniture all day while the kids jump around and wrestle? Not even joking, literally what it sounds like. I wish I was exaggerating. 12 – 27 sunday 8am hammering followed by stomping 12−28trying to take a nap at 3−5pm. Directly above me, every 5 seconds, ill hear ~4 stomps, in rythm, for the past 2 hours(at the time i’m writing this, still going). Non stop. What the hell. I’d love to have a video for this but my phone doesnt pick up the low deep pitched stomps. 530pm: there was no nap. their sprinting in place now above my living room. as well as hammering the floor. I’m out. 5:37pm:before I could even get in the rumbling shower to leave I’m hearing frantic door banging and shouting for over 3 minutes constant. I just want to add before I’m heading out theres a crying baby 3 years away from me on the other side of my door. The dad is making monster noises scaring him and theres 3 others conversing. I don’t mind that at all compared to the nightmare above me. 1−4again, away for new years. the first night I come back theres constant pace-stomping at 5:30 am. It’s 7am now and I can still here them pacing back and forth, in every single room above me. edit: 7:05 now theres the crashing sounds. it honestly sounds like theres 4 adults getting ready for work. and one of them is already outside running up and down the stairs, not even above me. Also, finally found their email on their advert card. emailed on 12 – 28, no response, of course. 1 – 5 There might as well have been hammering 10 ft above my head the entire day. I got home at 2pm, it’s 10pm and consistently, the *crash* to *stomping with heels for 4 steps* repeat every 3 seconds, has not stopped, ever. They’ve just been pacing back and forth for 8+ hours, only to stop when running and just cause more noise. This is insanity inducing. 1 – 65:30am every single morning. At this point i need to imagine them doing something with bricks to fall back to sleep instead of worrying what the hell they’re actually doing. Also just want to add in case anyone thinks I’m just sensitive to noise; for 8 months in 2014 the bathroom next to my bed was being redone. A jackhammer literally pierced the wall a foot above my head while i was sleeping. My upstairs neighbors are worse.

I lived here for almost 2 years. Horrible roaches when I moved in, and it flooded twice within the first 3 months. Nothing is updated, just repaired after it breaks. I stayed because it was cheap and a quiet neighborhood. After about a year there were so many problems that were never fixed. I had to call the emergency night manager several times and he never even showed up. Kids will be screaming and playing in the parking lot well after dark. Now that I have moved out they took my whole deposits and are trying to charge and additional $ 150. Over the past 20 days I have called at least 20 times and never once has the phone been answered. I am trying to contest charges and the office manager(Joan) claims she has no authority to discuss it, but that I should mail and written disputes to her, and she will forward them to corporate. She will act like she cares, but is lazy and incapable of a professional position. Disgusting apartments. Apathetic lying employees. Shady business. Avoid at all cost!
