Glamour Nails

Every thing about this salon is always new. From new buffers and files to new styles they can recreate. I love their salon and how professional the staff are! They can handle any preference and my pedicure was just amazingly relaxing. I would recommend Glamour Nails they are very affordable price.

I especially like Holly for my nails and Ivy for my pedicures!
They both do a great job! Cindy also makes you feel very welcome
and does a great job running the shop.

Very nice nail salon. Everyone is very friendly. They really give great attention to you. I had a pedicure and the massage chair and foot care was a relaxing treat. Gracie did wonderful.

Very happy! This was my first time here and the staff was very accommodating. Ivy and Cindy were amazing. They were very nice and Ivy made sure I was happy with the shape, color and more. I love that she took her time and wasn’t rushing at all. Also they have a card for every visit and after the 7^th stamp the next service is on them a FREE GEL MANICURE! So cool, I have never even or heard of that. Thanks ladies I’ll see you in a few weeks!

I usually get my nail fix closer to home but stumbled upon this place last week after grocery shopping and decided to wind down with a mani-​pedi and was not disappointed.
I walked in and was greeted from the receptionist behind the desk. They were pretty busy but I got seated in about 5−10mins. They have a TON of polishes so it took me awhile to choose anyways. When I was seated, I was greeted by a young lady and she started with my pedicure. Two tv’s were running which was convenient to the eye and the woman from the front would walk by and asked us if we wanted fruit infused water which was refreshing. The salon is nice and clean and I noticed how the nail techs were friendly and joking with customers. That’s a plus, no one likes a cryptic nail shop.
I gave the salon 5 stars mostly for my personal experience. The girl who did me, Jade, was absolutely a treat. She was very gentle and took her time working on my cuticles and cleaning me up. Her massage was amazing. Hands were firm but gentle. She took her time and made sure I felt entirely relaxed. I almost fell asleep during and after. She polished me up and moved to my manicure which was great as well. Great conversationalist, very kind

I love this place. Glamour Nails on Carmel Valley is amazing. They are the nicest ladies and do incredible work. They always remember who I am and even think of new ideas for my nails every time I come in. Some even remember who I am and say hi to me outside of the shop! They really take care of you and make you feel special. If you’re in the area come to Glamour Nails and ask for Harley, Tammy, or Amy! You won’t be upset!

I came to glamorous nails because my nail technician who I’m loyal to had been out sick and this salon is close to my house. Cathy at nail 2000 utc is the best! She is so meticulous and never rushes. She truly is a gem.
They not only did a terrible job on my nails, completely rushed thru the entire service, and even trashed talked about me in Vietnamese. Because i don’t look like my ethnicity they feel that they can say whatever in front of me. My nail tech said to the other tech that i had a bitch face and i seem picky so do a better job.
This is the most fearful reason why we don’t go to salons like this. Doing a shellac pedicure should not take 30 minutes. (Even the owner came over and asked why she finished so fast) My lady takes 1.5 hrs for a pedi because it takes 20 min alone to cure.
Speaking negatively about your client then smile to their face is something we all wonder to ourselves if these technicians are actually doing so. And the answer at this salon is YES. The actual service was just as bad. My nails were filed so crooked i had to refile it myself. She barely cut my cuticles even tho i had mention to focus on that part. I believe the name of my tech was Thuy, im not certain because she never greeted me. Absolutely the worst. Do not go to her!
The one star is for the salon owner. She was very nice. Please train your staff to do consistency work and break the typical vietnamese salon mode of talking trash about clients.

I’ve been going to Glamour Nails for 15 years and I just love everything about this full service salon… Tina, Cindy and Yvonne are the best…

The best manicure massage I’ve ever had and fun Halloween nails to boot! This is my local nail salon, though I have gone many other places too. I recently came back here in the last several months and found Annie. So glad I did! She does my nails and does a great job. I wanted something Halloween-​themed for the month of October. She meticulously crafted the nail design I wanted. She took such time and care and always does with every manicure. This is a great place to go.

I’ve seen just about everyone that works here and have always had a great experience. The chairs are comfortable, the customer service is excellent, and I am always super happy with the way my nails look.

This place is awesome the best customer service, new chairs super comfortable and Holly is a sweet heart she makes you feel so special.

I highly recommend Glamour Nails on Carmel Mountain Rd. They have the greatest customer service, the women there are super friendly and always welcoming to everyone! Their prices are great & the facility is extremely clean which is very important.
I personally work with Holly! She does my eye brows, nails & pedicure. I HIGHLY recommend her, she does an Outstanding job!

I have been coming here for years. I drive from Vista, down to Carmel Valley to get my nails done. Great place that does a great job. I tried places in Vista and Carlsbad but none compare! Ask for Holly and Jade!

I’m not impressed.
The place was clean and up-​to date. There were plenty of good magazines, too.
The nail colors and brand of polish they used were outdated and sub-​par. I definitely would have liked it if they had more Essie and O.P.I. products to choose from. (Who the heck prefers China Glaze?!)
My pedicurist was friendly and respectful of my magazine-​coma.
Here’s my beef:
I was asked: «Would you like callus remover?»
I responded: «Of course!» (I’m a runner… nuff said…)
«That will be $ 6 extra.»
«Seriously?»
Silence. Her face looked pretty serious.
«Well…no thank you then.»
And that’s where it all went south.
Here’s what happened next:
My pedicurist proceeded to very lightly (without any stank at all!) buff my calluses for less than 30 seconds. It was like if I didn’t PAY to make her job easier, she wasn’t going to bother with it. I didn’t come here to get my calluses massaged! I came to have cute, polished feet!
I’m a great tipper – BECAUSE I have calluses and I appreciate the effort of a job well done. I definitely didn’t feel pampered or taken care of AT ALLl at this salon.
After I paid (and over-​tipped like an idiot), my pedicurist just LEFT me there.
Not only did I not get a «Thank you, goodbye, thanks for coming, nice to meet you, thanks for the fabulous tip I really didn’t earn.» I NEVER saw her face again! I was left to dig for my keys and gingerly put my sandals on my freshly painted (but VERY annoyed toes!)
Because this place is the closest salon to my house, I’m going to give it one more try. The optimist in me is hoping they improve their customer service or perhaps this was just an unfortunate run-​in with one employee (that just needs to find a job at the Post Office where ‘stank’, effort or customer service isn’t required…)
