Struggling with weight all my life. I’ve finally found a program that really works… the HCG diet has regained my confidence back as I lost 31 lbs in 40 days. Finding Dr Weiss’ s office and Ruth, his wonderful assistant who understands the struggles of weight will help support and motivate you through the whole program.

This is the physician who once owned Spa 858 in La Jolla and most recently the Center for Longevity in Carlsbad. I don’t have anything against him personally, I’ve never even met him. I’m sure that he is well qualified and skilled at what he does. But his office staff is unprofessional and have poor customer service skills. My girlfriend was given a $ 250 gift certificate to Spa 858 (Dr. Weiss’s former business in La Jolla). However, she wasn’t able to use the gift certificate in a timely manner due to work constraints. But a gift certificate to a spa shouldn’t expire, right? And on the gift certificate there was no expiration date listed.
I attempted to call Dr. Weiss’s office staff since Spa 858 closed. His office staff was very difficult to reach and frequently they did not return my calls. When I reached his office staff, they had moved to Carlsbad. His office manager asked me to fax the original gift certificate which I did. She never called back or confirmed that she had received the fax. When I called back the following week she told me that she never received it. So once again I faxed it to the same number. I called immediately afterwards to confirm that she ha received it. She stated that she had, and that was the last I heard from her and that was two weeks ago. She never called back to tell us that they would honor the gift ceritifcate that was purchased in GOOD faith from Dr Weiss business. Dealing with Dr. Weiss office staff has been an excercise in frustration. They have been very evasive and they need to improve their customer servie skills. I would think twice if you have to deal with these people and I wouldn’t buy ANY gift certificates from these people!
