My usual go to spot for groceries(fast and simple) besides going to Costco, in and out, got what I needed without any trouble besides the long lines because of the holidays. Needed directions to something and spotted a manager, he helped me out without hesitation, providing me with great customer service.

I just go for the prices. You can’t beat the prices that food here is sold for but you get what you pay for. I say this because the fresh vegetables are always not ripe over riped and are ripped apart. Or generally just don’t look good. The meat section is mediocre to, nothing fancy like London broil or filet mignon. But if your on a budget it’s a good place to spend 50 dollars and end up with a cart full of groceries.

I would say the only complaint I have is that they need more of a selection when it comes to meat. Aside from that, I’ve found everything else I’ve needed, including the giant can of Koolaid mix and Chile Del Amor which I haven’t been able to find anywhere else.

Good ol Food 4 Less. What can I say, this is where I get 90%of my food. I really wish they had a better selection of premium beef. Bring in some Kobe once in a while. Also, I wish they had lamb more often. Good prices though, cheaper than most other grocery stores. The cashiers, workers and security guard(yup) are very nice. They also have good prices on alcohol, almost always cheaper than the liquor store. Just a thought… It would be so awesome if Walmart, Food 4 Less and the 99 cent store all combines into one super store. Then I would only have to make one stop when I go shopping.

IDK. I’ve always had a positive experience here. I like this location because they carry a lot of Spanish language items that the Mission Valley location doesn’t have. It’s cheap, not the flea market and if you go late at night, it’s super chill.

Ghetto ass Food 4 Less. I think those words express how I feel about this place. One time I went in here and 2 customers were about to brawl infront of me. I do like the customer service, hence the 3 stars.

It’s a Food 4 Less, just like any other one. However, the shelves here look disheveled, like they’ve been rummaged through. When I went here there were long lines and only two cashiers. Customer service was poor — they obviously don’t care about their customers. Food 4 Less is good for’ processed American goods, and maybe packaged items. Recommendations: I would skip this location unless you just happen to be nearby. It’s a large store but the environment feels unhealthy.

I like this place because the food is price O-kay, not less like it said but less than Albertson’s. I’m not a big fan of the people camped out in the parking lot looking for signatures, but it is a parking lot. This is a no frill supermarket located in the far end of a shopping plaza. There is at least two bus stops located around the Food 4 Less area but I still recommend taking a car to shop. There aren’t a lot of common name brand foods and products here so if you’re looking for Starbucks caramel mocchachino coffee beans for your state of the art expresso machine this is not the place for you. What it does have are a lot of good deals on food without you having to sign up for some stupid club card and have your email clogged down with coupons.

You know those scenes in movies where unwanted sexual encounters takes place and then the scene shifts to someone crying in a shower, scrubbing themselves profusely while dramatic music plays? Well, this was the exact scene from my life when I came home from visiting this disgusting store. I felt violated with filth in there! Now, I have never been to the grocery stores of Mogadishu, but this place has to be the next best thing to the unsanitary nightmares that exist over there. First of all, the floor was stained and dirty. It looked like multiple people had been murdered on it. Also, and I am NOTJOKING, there was a discarded maxi pad on the floor in one of the aisles. When I saw this I made my way to the door. I only stopped at this store because I was on business in this dodgy part of San Diego, and decided to stop in to see just how cheap their prices really are. But seeing that blood-soaked feminine product on the floor(not very lady-like of her to just rip it out of her pants and toss it in a store where people buy food) ruined my day, turned me off form buying food, and gave me nightmares later that night. Now for prices, not all their stuff is cheap. You now that Asian chili sauce in the bottle with the rooster on it, and the green cap? It is $ 1 cheaper at the Asian markets I go to. But, honestly, I would rather pay slightly higher prices in a clean store, than pay much less in a store that looks like its floors are the neighborhood abortion clinics. Ah, there were also flies buzzing around their produce, and the lettuce was wilted. The woman who tossed her dirty maxi pad on the floor might as well have used the lettuce at this place, because it wasn’t worth eating and had already absorbed lots of bacteria. Someone needs to report this place to the health department. But in the meantime, I will stick to Trader Joes and my favorite Asian markets.
