Went in here last night on my way home, and I have to say it was a great experience. The food was fresh, and full of flavor. The man behind the counter and who was preparing the food was very friendly, talkative, and informative. I asked for his recommendation and he gave me the Chicken Shawarma plate, the sauce is on point. The chicken was still juicy and not overcooked, rice was made perfectly, and hummus was the perfect addition. Definitely coming back.

This place brings the flavor. I’m no expert at authentic but all I know is I love how everything tastes here. We got the platter for two and everything was super delicious on the platter.

The food is so good and the workers are so sweet! I’m treated like family whenever I come by… everyone that I’ve taken here, loves this place.

Great appetizers and Lassie but the main course(beef Shwarma) was very sub-par. The meat was not fresh at all and both both of us who ate it has indigestion later. This meat needed to be thrown away or fed to dogs. When restaurants try to save a little money this way, this is what happens. Very disappointing and hoping this was just an anomaly.

Went here after church because we talked about passover and the gyro sounded like something I should go. So my friends recommended and I trust their judgement and went. We all ordered the gyro combo and I am very happy with the customer service, the place was clean and the food was very good.

Authentic as can be. I really enjoy that chicken shawarma sandwich. With that being said, the place is actually really small but the service is really nice. I do question the cleanliness of the kitchen a tad bit but the food is worth it. Prices are fair and at least you know you are paying for authenticity rather than a knock off entrée.

I could eat their chicken shawarma sandwich every day, especially with a squirt of their in-house hot sauce. Forget bland fast food… these flavors are popping. Definitely not vampire friendly.

This was delicious. Ordered the shrimp scampi and had it spicy. I was pleasantly surprised to find out the veggies that came with it were sauteed tomatoes, bell peppers and onions. The rice it’s a yellow rice. The place has an at home kind of feel. They offer hookah as well.

Been trying to find a spot that can relate and compare to my dads cooking and his country’s style dishes. Since, he passed away, i can say this place is a home runner, the beans the meat and everything is on point. Love coming here sit and reminisce

I can’t give this place enough stars! My wife and I come here almost weekly for their dinners. We find ourselves craving it late at night and drive out of our way just to have their gyro dinners. One of the nicest families and they always take care of their customers. If you’re ever craving Mediterranean food I would highly recommend Fattoush! You won’t be disappointed.

Wow, kabobs are so delicious! Very flavorful and service was very friendly, a warm homey feel. I got the mixed grill(various kabobs, rice, salad and hummus) for $ 15 and Jalab drink(mixed berry drink) for $ 3 and was tasty too! Will come back for sure!

Today was our third time trying this place & I must say all three times the food was super fresh. The cashier is always so friends and is so honest. She will tell you what’s good and what’s not. We love picking something up for lunch when my husband and my boys get their hair cuts. Place is nice a clean. Affordable prices. Friendly environment. Kids friendly. I think they have hookah. And for that they have outdoor seating. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to try good middle eastern food. It’s cheap and fresh

New to the area. We saw this while driving by. Amazing! Fresh and flavorful. Nice presentation and clearly they care about the quality of the food. We did take out. The veggie combo platter was delicious and the lebneh and other dip we got(I forget something with red pepper) was so tasty! They also gave us plenty of pita to scoop up all the yummy dips. Will definitely get from here again!

I have been here twice and both times were 3 star experiences. The food is good, but there is better Mediterranean food not too far away. The ambiance is lack luster but given the location, you probably would expect that. The staff is very friendly and attentive. If you are in the area and want a quick fix, I would stop in. But if you are looking for the best Mediterranean food, look elsewhere.

The respectable woman that assisted my husband and I in our meal tonight was kind and greatly helpful. Had a few good laughs and smiles with her as well. The food was amazing. We ordered the Turkish coffee, 2 lemonade mint, garlic humus, and the combo for 2; my goodness the hummus was scarfed down by him and he could help me finish the plate for 2, so of course we had to take the rest home. The food had so much flavor that it was impossible not to enjoy it. I am quite picky on many food when it comes to flavor, and this is just stomach heaven. This is also hands down the best Mediterranean food we have eaten in San Diego so far. On the first top of our list. Will definitely go here again, with my husband friends and or even by myself for take out. I would definitely recommend this home feeling restaurant to those around, and would highly suggest to check our their décor of the world’s currency on their wall. Thank you for the pleasurable meal and thank you for the hospitality and constant checking up on us to see if we needed any adjustments in our foods or drinks.

I think that this place was a surprising little gem for me to find up in the college area of Rolando. Fattoush has been on my radar for some time, I’ve passed it on many occasions and every time I’ve come here to try it, it has been closed. Weird, because Unilocal has the hours listed as 11am-1am everyday, which I can safely say isn’t true at all. This restaurant is literally a hole in the wall family Lebanese eatery with a small dining area inside and an outside dining section as well. Their menu features your typical Mediterranean and Lebanese fast food mix. They serve appetizers, plates, and gyro sandwiches. The gyro sandwiches here will only run you $ 4.95 according to their sign( ). The parking lot is quite small though and street parking is hard to find, but the food is worth it. I came here with every intention in getting some chicken shawarma for take away to eat at home. Their chicken shawarma plate runs you about $ 10. It may seem expensive but the plate comes with a side salad, hummus, pita and a bed of rice below the chicken( ). The take away box was quite heavy as they pack it with a lot of food. The chicken was very flavorful and moist, I wish they gave me a bit more of it in my plate instead of rice really. The side salad was a little overly dressed I think, but it was refreshing non the less. The hummus here seemed a bit heavy and on the bland side, but still very good with their pita bread. The pita bread( ) is very good here and I couldn’t get enough of it. Especially since I ordered the garlic dip sauce( ) on the side. For about five bucks you get a large container of dipping sauce and some extra pita bread. The garlic sauce was really seasoned well and went amazing with the bread. Personally I’d get this stuff anyday over the hummus. The yellow rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned as well, the food here is quality stuff in my opinion. Fattoush is a great place for some quick delicious Lebanese food. You definitely get your money’s worth here, as a plate of food will easily fill you up. Their garlic dipping sauce is exceptional and you should give it a try. This place has gained a new regular customer, I’ll be coming back for my quick Lebanese food fixes.

Y’all must think I’m crazy for giving this place a 3 star. I have it a 3 because I actually think it is not bad, but not the best. It’s mid grade and their service was wonderful. The service and generosity of the restaurant really makes up for quality of food. What I got: Chicken Shawarma! Quality: The meat was alright but not the best. They cook it on a plan instead of on the turning rotisserie. Also it’s cut in strips instead of shaven off like most place. It’s also too thick and moist. But flavor wise, decent. Plate: Very Generous! Plate comes with Salad(taste super good), rice, and hummus(which was on point) and pita bread. Price: mid range Overall, it is a family own business. Been around ! Open late. Great for when you are hungry and looking for a late place for huge amount of food! They open till 1am ;)

Serving portions are great. Homeliness from the servers . The hummus is tart but thick, the beef and cheese sambousa is a must have(take home or share amongst a group). The beef and rice kappa is delicious. Meat falls right off, tender, and juicy(excuse my spelling).

I love this little mom and pop so much that I think it will be my go to spot for middle eastern food. It is a little hole in the wall but the food and service is outstanding and the prices are fair. There’s not much seating inside but there is a patio to chill at. Also parking is a little tight but if you come later in the night parking is fine. You should bring cash but there is an atm right buy the cash register. I always get the kafta plate because it’s so delicious with a good amount of rice. The menu is pretty big so that makes it difficult for me to decide what I want.
