Fantastic Sams

Tina did a good job listening to what I wanted! She did a great job with my hair and it was reasonably priced! I’m definitely going back! Oh n yes I got a free shampoo for checking in! Awesome!

Last year I went to Fantastic SAMs to get my hair dyed a pretty warm brown. I ended up with a super dark burgundy and a stained shirt from hair dye dripping onto the back of my shirt, along with a totally uneven cut. I wasn’t happy.
Fast forward to a couple of days ago. I was in a bind. My gray hairs were looking through and my regular stylist wasn’t available. I needed my hair done, that day. I checked out Unilocal reviews and saw the glowing reviews for this location, and decided to try again I popped in and they took me right away.
As the girl, «d» I think that’s her name) was doing my hair, I couldn’t pinpoint where I knew her from. It wasn’t until the dye was dripping all over the side of my face, that I recognized her. She was the girl who wrecked my hair last time. Ugh. She’s such a nice girl and I hate to write a bad review, but again after discussing that my hair was way too dark last time… We agreed that she’s keep me at my natural color. My hair is BLACK again. I look ridiculous and to make matters worse, I start a new job in a week. Three days later and my skin is STILL dyed. I’m so upset that I could cry, and honestly I don’t want anything else to do with this place.
To be helpful, Danielle is a sweetheart but I don’t understand how this could happen again.
The other gals in the salon look like they know what they’re doing, and their cuts and colors looked amazing.
I’m giving two stars because my grays were covered.

This is my second post on Unilocal for this hair salon. The first post never made it. I hope this one takes! Last month I decided to get my hair colored after being natural gray for many years. I chose Brittni at this fantastic SAMs location since she had cut my hair before and I really loved my bangs after she cut them. Long story short I love the color and cut. My hair looks great every single day! That’s a testament to her skills. I think Brittni is top notch!

I’ve been coming to this location for a couple of years now. Gloria is one of the best! She is very knowledgeable and always makes my hair look great. I usually go to her for hair color and I’m always very satisfied with the end result! She also does hair for a few of my co workers who absolutely love her too. I’ll also come in for waxing services… No complaints!

I like the outcome of my hair color. However, the atmosphere isn’t that great. Not very cheerful. It needs a good cleaning… ceiling fans were black from dirt and dust, hair in corners on the floor. The employees need to get a little pep in their step and act happy at least.

Can you say super bomb dot com? Best haircut I have had in a while. Look I will be the first to admit the place looks like it was remodeled during the Reagan administration but don’t let that fool you when it comes to the wizardry that is performed with a pair of scissors.
I got a cut so fresh people who weren’t my mom told me I looked handsome, that never happens! Plus a dope hair washing? YES PLEASE. Idk who Sam is… but he’s fantastic. That’s for sure.

Nicole is THE BEST!!! Always does a great job!! ALWAYS SMILING!!! She is the best in the business I’d follow her anywhere!!!

I always said I would never come to a Fantastic Sams. Especially after I have been going to my hair guy since I was born. But the time had come to try someone new. And I’m so glad I stumbled across this Fantastic Sams… because I found nicole! She is the BEST!!! She is professional, easy to talk to, and does an AMAZING job on your hair! The salon it’s self is kept clean and they are very on top of things.
If you are looking for someone head over to this location… and ask for Nicole!

My husband, son, daughter and I come here to get our hair cuts. We love coming here. We have been coming here for over 4 yrs. now. Nicole does a Fantastic job, makes us feel very comfortable, she and her team are extremely friendly and also knowledgeable about the salon products. We will keep on coming here.

Just got a cut from Nicole. AMAZING! This place is professional, but fun. The perfect mix for a hair salon. Check it out!

Let me start with, I dread getting haircuts but Nicole was such an awesome hairstylist! Listened to all my concerns about not wanting to go to short but needing a healthy look! (I have a longer pixie cut and this was my first haircut since I cut my hair in June) I recommended her to anyone and everyone! She’s so friendly and holds amazing conversation and I will so come back! Trust her opinions and all her recommendations and we just met! That completely says something! Can’t wait for my next haircut

Its okay. They didn’t mess up my daughters hair but they didn’t really nail the cut either. I probably wont return just as I haven’t since my daughters first hair cut here.

I always have a great experience at this store. The wait is never long and the stylists are always friendly. I’ve been pleased with my haircuts each time.

I take my son to get his hair cut here and they are great. They always greet you with a friendly smile and have great service.
He’s always pleased with his cut (he’s constantly trying mew styles.

Worst haircut in years… Not all of the stylists here seem to know what they’re doing… The girl who cut my hair seemed to be just guessing how to style it the way I asked. If you want anything beyond a very basic cut, I would not recommend this place. In just 15 minutes she thought it was apparently good enough and it looked horrible! She even admitted it looked «goofy» in certain spots. So I asked her to fix those spots… When I asked her to make those adjustments she spent 5 more minutes randomly chopping off pieces here and there with no real strategy. She also didn’t listen to what I asked for. I asked for my hair done a certain way, reminded her half way through to do it that way. And she didn’t listen, now I need to go somewhere else to get it fixed… If you come here make sure you get someone who knows what they’re doing!

I seriously love this place! They listen to how I want my son’s hair cut. With curls it is difficult to find a good place that is affordable. My son loves getting his hair washed here and they make his hair look great!

Nicole did an amazing job with my unruly hair, I am very happy with the results. She also provided me with some tips that I will be using soon. I will definitely be back :)

There comes a time in our life when we looking in the mirror of our life and say crap I need a haircut. Well that time for me came today. I have been coming to this salon for the past 2−3yr and have to say I love this place. Everyone that I have had the pleasure of chatting with during my haircut has been so nice. However, there is one particular artist that I have to give a special shout to and that is Amanda. She is the greatest. She not only cuts my hair but my wife’s and sons. She is very professional and courteous and don’t see anyone else cutting my hair but her. So if the mop on your head is an eye sore to everyone around you. Then stop in and get the best haircut EVERY!!!

Great service! Nicole did a great job on my son’s haircut. People hear are courteous and make suggestions. Love the hip vibe and great music too. Would definitely come back!

Nikki (Nicole) is great she really know show to cut curly hair! She has cut both my hair and my daughters hair. She listens and gives her opinion, which I am grateful for since I know nothing about cutting hair let alone curly hair.
Aside from great cuts she is super sweet and caring, she makes you feel welcomed when you walk through the door!
