Eyes For Kids

The staff is knowledgeable, professional, kind, efficient. Our ophthalmologist recommended them and I have had a very good experience every time we have gone there. My young son loves their play area and the staff has a great way with kids.

If you want your kids glasses to fit well and not break in a day come here. We’ll worth the money. Wasted a lot of time with optical shop at Rady’s.

We loved this place. They replaced our daughter’s lenses with her her RX and it was a seamless process. They are located in a strip mall but don’t let that deter you. The lady that works there has the patience of a saint and she’s very kind. She also knows her business. They have a play area that we have to drag our daughter out of. I will continue to come here for my children’s eye glass needs. Wonderful, caring service.

The team at Eyes for Kids is far and way the best in San Diego. Aimee is very knowledgeable and has a great service for kids. My daughter needed glasses at 18months old and Eyes for Kids was there to help every step of the way. They helped get a great frame (durable, stylish and just the right size!) along with tips/​tricks to helping keep glasses on a toddler.
Their customer service is excellent! They will go the extra mile for you every time. They do not do any insurance billing, however you won’t care after getting your little kiddos fitted here. I was able to get a big chunk of my kids frames reimbursed with a copy of the receipt.
Aimee & Rebecca know a handful of the good pediatric ophthalmologists around San Diego and can help refer you to them if you need. They are a great resource for anything related to kids glasses, goggles, sunglasses, etc…

Like the other reviewer said, they don’t bill insurance. All things considered, it’s been worth it the past 7 years to have such great service.
They have a wide variety of frames, experts to fit them, spare nose pieces galore (Noah is a bit picky about how his glasses sit on his face), and they will reorder the lenses for your frames, then call you when they arrive — no more giving up your glasses for new lenses.
Happy kids with good vision? Priceless.

Amazing service & great selection of eyewear just for kids… the only reason I didn’t give them a 5-​star is because they are not a provider for any insurance companies and don’t do any billing for you. However, having worn the dorkiest glasses when I was a kid, I didn’t care what I had to pay to have my 11-​year old daughter excited about her new glasses… it’s much less expensive than therapy when she’s older. Brown on the outside, leopard print on the inside… she LOVES them! We ordered them on a Thursday and we got a call on Monday saying they were already ready…
