I love Express Market. Sure, the selection of items is a bit hit-and-miss; for example, no 20 ounce Coke Zeros, but you can get bungee cords and small hookahs. Sure, the parking is also sometimes a pain. However, the guys who run this store give absolutely great customer service. I live near this market, and while there are 3+ other convenience stores nearby, I always go here first to buy stuff because they make it a point to remember me, greet me when I come in, and ask about me when I haven’t been in for a little while.

These guys are awesome, I’m always greeted with a smile and a «hello». I have many options when it comes to my liquor stores, I continually come to Express.

I think this is quite possibly my favorite liquor store in North Park if there is such a thing. Well, its the closest to me too, and im pretty sure that has something to do with it. Its a little ghetto and prices are high for random things like a single pack of popcorn The owners are cool. These guys always say hi to me when Im walking past to go home. I may have told them that this place was my favorite liquor store once on a booze run, and im pretty sure they remember me.(Im sure I was on my a-game at that moment.) Theyre always rambling on the phone in arabic and at least 1 of them likes to smoke while hes standing inside, but hey, they will step outside if someone comes in. They have a pretty good selection of lighters too if that means anything. Due to the surrounding area of university ave its a little ghetto, well some of the characters are anyway. My favorite moment there was when I was about to pay and the clerk starts screaming at this older black guy because he pooed in the restroom and he was told ONLYPEE. He kept saying that it was an emergency but the guy was not having any of it. there was a good exchange there for a minute.
