Elegant Hair Extension and Braiding Salon

Thankful that my colleague for referring me to Aiesha. She’s very personable and does beautiful work. My braids are always tiny. She does touch-​up braiding and take down which is very important for me. I’ve had a fairly easy time with making appointments and to-​date she’s the sole person whose done my braids. My only draw back is the location and bathroom facility… tight parking too. Overall the quality of work is well worth the cost. I’m a repeat customer since October 2015.

I’ve been going to Aisha for years! She is literally hands down the best braided in San Diego! Her prices are reasonable and she is very nice and down to earth. I recently got tiny Senegalese twists and I love them! This is one place where I am never ever worried about how my hair will turn out. I refer people to her any chance I get because I am confident she will do a fantastic job! She is multitalented, she does weaving and styling as well! Her weave is only on point! She always makes time for me because I am a spontaneous client, but she finds time to do my hair every time. I can’t wait for the next style because I know it is going to be just as awesome as my current. :-)

She does excellent work. She’s very courteous and professional. I must not forget to mention that she gives high quality work each and every time my hair is braided.

My experience with this salon has been the worst to this date. I’ve been to a few different salons in San Diego, all of which have treated my hair with more care and respect than this establishment. I’m a mixed ethnicity African-​American, with my hair resulting in a relaxed coil. My intention was to have my hair styled in dreads (I understand the actual locking of dreads is a process). I decided to come here because the reviews made it seem like a reputable salon. I called and asked about their experience with dread hairstyles. I’m under the impression the stylist (who was not the owner) was inexperienced with my hair type. They roughly brushed my hair from root to tip (even though I asked for it to be brushed from tip to root to reduce strain). This in itself was very painful for me. They then proceeded to apply a cheap brown adhesive-​like gel with a fine tooth comb, which they used to coil my hair. The resulting «dreads» were hard and looked horrid. I feel if they weren’t comfortable or felt they wouldn’t be capable of managing my hair, they should have been honest and left my hair alone. Since then, I’ve reworked my dreads and they’re looking and feeling better (I’m still washing the gel out and there are times I just want to cut my hair off and start fresh~ that’s how terrible my experience was). Aisha is AWESOME! Very neat work. I just show her a picture and she hooks me up! And she goes above and beyond for her customers and charges fair prices. So glad I found her shop!

I had scheduled an appointment with her ahead of time and when it came time for me to get my hair done, I realized I got braidingn hair instead of weaving hair. She personally drove me to the shop, helped me pick out some hair that would look good on me and then we came back and she did my hair even for a discount to help me out. I have only had my weave for a few days and I have already gotten so many compliments. In conclusion, I have found my new weave stylist! I recommend her to anyone wanting their hair done! If there was a way I could give more stars then I would. Aisha did a tremendous job on my Senegalese twist today. I told her what I wanted and she exceeded expectations. She started around 10 and I left a little before 5. Well worth the price. Will be returning.

I just got home from getting Senegalese twists and they came out absolutely gorgeous!!! Aisha is very friendly and did a good job. She started at 2, and I left around 8pm. She is very detailed and passionate about her work. The prices were good too. I will definitely be going back there in the future. I highly recommend this shop.
