Food has been great here since i can remember, This place would get a 5 stars if they had faster drive thru. but when it comes to food they deserve a 5 star, from the simple taco to their Carne asada plates are delicious. Recommended — Hope this help!

This is no longer a good place to eat from. Mediocre service and food is no longer good. It seems as if they use the same cooking oil over and over.

I really didn’t want to give this place any stars. I drove by and only asked for carne asada fries with guacamole, they sent me home with a shitload of sour cream and called it «American guacamole» lmao. I went back and the asshole tells me that they only put the green guacamole if I specifically ask for it, I ask to speak to a manager and the cook refuses to come and speak to me, and then on top off that he charges me 75 cents extra… Rude and ridiculous never ever going there again.

Drive through is slow since it can only hold two crs at one, so not much time to get food ready, but… OMG — BEST Carne Asada Nachos.

$ 7 for a carne asada burrito that was beyond dry and disgusting. This place is overpriced and a joke. Not to mention the roaches all over the building… Can only imagine the infestation in kitchen.

We live near by and frequent this taco shop but in the last few months the quality of food has fell off. Twice now we have gotten sick and today I took 2 bites of a crbe asada taco and threw up. Something was rotten. I will be taking my taco shop aspirations.

This place is drive through or walk up only, and yes the locations not the nicest. But the food is AMAZING. Living in national city there are taco shops everywhere and we always make the drive to go to this one. Their shrimp burrito is great and so is their mar y tierra burritio(shrimp and carne asada).

Those tortillas are so damn good! Great food, they have a drive through(although it wasn’t super fast but it’s not fast food really), inexpensive, and takes a card. I got the chile rellano burrito + rice– so good and HUGE, couldn’t finish it. They also have grape soda, mmmm! Not in the best area, but worth the drive.

Although it is located in a ghetto area and it is a bit scary here sometimes, it has one of the best carne Asada fries I have ever tasted. The guacamole/sour cream mix is so good! It is so unique and it keeps me coming back for more. The prices aren’t too bad, $ 6.25 for carne Asada fries is pretty cheap nowadays. The only downfall is the drive thru sucks and if you come at night, it can be a little sketchy. Come here if you wanna try something a little different. Definitely won’t be disappointed with the carne Asada fries, but I suggest getting it without the lettuce

I am not sure what changed here recently but you are doing something right. I have not been disappointed in a while with my food. Thank you for the changes you made. Now if you could get rid of the change beggers at the payphone just waiting to make eye contact I would be even happier. My food today was delicious and fresh. The rice and beans were also awesome.

The good: They have the some of the best Carne asada fries and the best California burrito and Mari Teara burritos in So-cal The bad: One of the worst neighborhoods in San Diego, and I’m talking full out crack heads lurking about, ghetto trash, gangsters and every other kind of ratchet disreputable character that you can think of, If you come during the day you should be ok, as a matter of If you are smart you will only come in the day time, did I mention this EXACT intersection is on is called the 4 corners of death. So yeah, come for the food and get the hell away, and the only reason that I gave it 4 stars is because I grew up here and it holds a special nostalgic place in my heart.

Do not let the look of things deter you. Hands down, this is one of my fav places to grab some quick Mexican food when I’m in SD. Totally a fan of the chicken machaca(one of thee best I’ve ever had), their rolled tacos and regular street tacos are also something to write back home about. Reasonably priced and great food. What more can you ask from a taco stand? Be sure to swing by here if you want to satisfy your Mexican food craving.

Well when I first moved to the neighborhood I was a bit nervous to try this place out, but one day I was home sick from work and had the biggest mexican food craving, I came here and got a chicken asada burrito and I was hooked, the carnitas burrito, chips supreme, carne asada fries, grilled chicken quesadilla too. But now it has new owners, before it was three young guys working there and a young female cashier. But now it’s some older people working there and the food isn’t the same, the food isn’t as tasty and the meat isn’t the same quality as before. I don’t come here often anymore it’s not the same. But if I do I only get chips supreme but with chicken.

Okay so, don’t let the location and the look of this place fool you. Their food is actually pretty good. I have to admit, just because of the area I felt like this place was kind of sketch, but I’m a foodie, so I’m always up to try new food experiences! My boyfriend, his friend, and I drove through the very small and inclined drive-thru and we all decided to order the California Burrito with everything and sour cream added, my boyfriend and I also shared a large Horchata. The California Burrito isn’t the absolute best that I’ve had, but it is pretty damn delicious. The salsa in the burrito just adds something to it to make it that much better. Also, the Horchata was delicious! If I’m ever in the area again I’ll definitely hit that spot up again.

Carne Asada Quesadilla, sour cream, no guac, no salsa fresca is FANTASTIC!!! My coworker happened to bring me a section of his and it is delicious. The Carne Asada is tender and well seasoned and just perfect. Yummy!!! !Muy Bueno!

this place is hit or miss. The TJ taco’s are really good but ordered a bean and rice burrito and it was really small for 3 bucks if I go to the barrel a few miles down it’s huge. Was here at midnight and had someone offer me drugs, a watch, and a women beg for money. Got my food and left.

1.25 bean or bean and rice burritos. Also a great selection of 1.25 tacos. Great when you want a quick and inexpensive meal, be sure to ask for extra salsa though, since they never give enough.
