Creativity, versatility, and fun are all reasons I love to have Eeva do my hair. I have long thick curly hair. Often this scares hairdressers but Eeva know how to cut it to make it look fabulous and also how to change it up with cuts and color.

Eeva is fantastic! I was referred to her years ago by a friend, and even when she went to Seattle for a few years (she’s back in San Diego now) I continued to go to her when she was in town – she’s that good! Great with color and with giving me a wonderful cut! I highly recommend her!

I was referred to Eeva from a coworker just after finishing chemotherapy treatment. During that time I had lost quite a bit of hair and was wearing wigs on a daily basis. She helped me begin the road to recovering my hair with numerous methods including scalp massages and special shampoos and conditioners. A year and a half later, my hair is just now starting to pass my shoulders and is as thick as it ever was before treatment.
In the beginning Eeva was challenged with dealing with my thinning hair, which has now switched to taming my out of control, thick and growing ever so aggressively tresses… not that I’m complaining in the least. While I still fight her every time she wants to give me a trim, I know she is the expert on getting my hair to be as long as it once was before treatment. She is friendly and personable and always a pleasure to spend and hour or so with. Prior to being introduced to her, I did not have a go to hair-​stylist in San Diego. I now continue to see her every few months for a trim, and look forward to when she will get to style my hair when its back to it’s long, illustrious length!

Eeva is wonderful hairstylist! I have been a client of hers for 17 years and I have never had a bad haircut or color job. She is amazingly talented and very creative. She has good ideas when you want something new and is consistent when you want to keep the same style. When I was in college I would go in and say please do something different and I got so many cool haircuts and color changes. Eeva did my hair and makeup for my weddig and I looked wonderful! My pictures turned out gorgeous. When my hair wigged out while I was pregnant, Eeva helped me to deal with it cutting it to best hid the issues. Now that I’m a working mom, Eeva has made sure I can still make changes when I want but that I have an easy haircut to take care of that looks professional and can be put up when I’m chasing my little ones around.
Eeva is hard working, talented, creative and kind and you will not regret trusting her with your hair.

A stylist can make or break you. I didn’t realize that quite as much until the day I had moved back to San Diego and was trying to find someone to cut my hair. I stopped strangers on the street who had good hair to see where they got theirs cut. Somehow, despite my aggressive hair-​stalking activities, I still ended up with someone who didn’t understand how to handle curly/​partially curly hair. And I left with the biggest freaking blown-​dry hair that hid the worst haircut I’ve ever had. And let me tell you, there are some things you simply can’t hide.
Several more hair stylists who couldn’t figure out my hair later, I met Eeva at a friend’s birthday party. She cut the hair of several of the people there so I glommed on to them until I was able to get her phone number.
Here’s the thing about Eeva, she understands hair, people, quickly learning what is important to them, and she cares.
I never hesitate to walk in and tell her to do whatever she wants. She knows I was in a professional job so needed «conservative fun hair». And she would make it work every time — when my hair is long or short. She adds enough variety with color and cut to make it work for me.
In addition, Eeva specializes in helping people with extreme thinning hair or hair loss — whether due to chemo, stress, or other situations. Whether it is through a wig system, or doing whatever it takes to encourage hair growth after most of it has been lost through chemo. I have seen first hand the joy that can come from people who have to wear wigs or scarves everyday to cover their head, because after seeing Eeva, they have hope that their hair will be okay, and somehow if their hair will be okay then they will be okay.
It is an amazing thing to see both in her clients, and in the ability that Eeva has to make sure that everyone who leaves her chair are happier and feeling better about themselves than when they first sat down.
