I run through this park often. I walk through it to get wine from the store. It’s beautiful, very well maintained. It has two baseball/softball fields, a bathroom and lots of shady trees. However, the parking lot is too small to accommodate the traffic that softball brings. Which creates a traffic nightmare with lots of pedestrians in the roadway. Top secret info: Police often park their cars in this lot after sundown. The parking lot faces a stop sign, it’s basically like shooting fish in a barrel. Once a month, a nearby church sponsors an outdoor movie night here. Kids just love it. The best time to come is on the weekday mornings. A group of older gentlemen race their R/C cars on the baseball diamond, which is always fun to watch. Do be careful though, I’ve never seen a dog on a leash at this park.

If you love little league baseball then you’ll love this park! 3 baseball fields tucked away in San Diego’s Clairemont neighborhood. This park also has a great small kids play area with picnic tables. Perfect place for throwing a kid’s birthday party. Park gets nice summer breezes off Mission Bay that keeps it from getting too hot. Tables have nice shaded trees. Bathrooms are typical of San Diego parks(not horrible, but not great, just be sure to bring your own soap or sani-gel).
