She is a wonderful doctor. She is so caring and knowledgable. She takes a proactive approach with me and my child. She really listens. I love her practice and appreciate all that she does for my daughter.

I agree 100% with the previous review by Carolyn A. I couldn’t have said it better. Dr. D. is amazing. I’ve had some disappointing experiences with various pediatricians, and finally I was referred to Dr. D. by Shirley Fett, PA. I highly recommend Dr. D. if you are looking for a pediatrician who is very warm and kind, and truly cares about your child’s health and knows what’s best. Best of all, she is very *present* and she listens! :)

Dr. Diakiw is a truly amazing, brilliant, gentle and patient person and we are so thankful that she is the pediatrician for our children. Her staff is also warm and friendly and really great with the kids. My husband is a surgeon and our extended family is full of doctors, so I feel pretty picky when choosing a doctor, especially for my babies. Dr. Diakiw is truly more than I could have hoped for! I trust her 100% with the care of my kids, and I think as a parent the trust part is the hardest to find in a doctor. I can not say enough great things about her.
She really listens, gets to know your kids and wants the whole picture. You never feel rushed at all. She genuinely cares. My normally shy kids actually LOVE going to her office and get so excited to visit– even on days when they know we will get shots. They trust her too and feel so calm at her office. Its such a blessing having Dr. Diakiw in San Diego.
Any time I have concerns or want to talk about vaccines or any other issue regarding the care of my kids based on something I heard or read, she is eager to have a thoughtful discussion and always has ample and up-​to-​date research to keep my mind at ease with all the choices we make regarding the care of my kids. She is such a gem!
She really is as good as it gets! Best pediatrician in town! :)
