I have been dealing with my hair issues for over 30 years and had hair transplants back in 1977. Back then the result was good and I still had a lot of my own hair. However, with age, you realize you don’t have enough donor sites to get the expected results. Then at that time I started looking at a weave and a hairpiece and ended up with a Tailor Top for over 20 years. After researching the matter further, finding an organization that does not have negative feedback and knowing a customer, led me to Dermatex. I met with Tuck and he answered a lot of the questions I had asked him as well as noticing how natural his hair looked. Then at that time, with a lot of support from my wife, I became a client and Trish is my stylist. The support staff and Trish make you feel more than a client, and someone special. Trish takes a lot of pride in the way I look when I leave the facility and when I look at myself in the mirror, looking at my hair and having knowledge of the various procedures and facilities out there, I know that I made the right decision. The way I look and feel, I can’t really find the words to describe the joy and confidence I have when I walk out the door. I have a look and feeling that you can not put a price on. Going to Dermatex is one of the best decisions I have made in this lifetime. People at work, family and friends ALL tell me that I really look good and give me a lot of positive input without dwelling on the subject of my hair. Thank God for Dermatex and I look forward to a long relationship with Dermatex and the wonderful staff.

I have to agree with all the reviews except one of them — somebody named Rluntha D. — who I’m convinced — must be from the competition. To be so angry — in a consultation? It sounds completely contrived because anybody who has ever met or dealt with these folks knows better. Here’s my experience with Tuck and his staff:
I’ve known Tuck and his staff for years (that’s right — same staff) — and, have gotten to know many folks who depend on them to look great. Thinning hair is a concern for lots of people — guys and gals. Tuck is the person you see every year on San Diego morning shows — because — he really cares about his profession — and how his business is keeping up with the times — and that includes (the latest) technology he can offer to his clients. I can tell you — as far as they are concerned — all the folks I know and talk to — are so self-​confident and know they are well taken care off. If you have the slightest concern — a quick phone call — and you get in — problem solved. Need to go out of town for business trip or something else? They’ll make room for you. All you have to do is call him — sight unseen. If you have any reservation about going down there — first — talk to him — ask questions. He’s very good at what he does and — as important — chooses the right people to take care of things.

My hair had been thinning for several years. I had used some shampoos and other so called «hair growth» products. I even tried a coverup thing. They did nothing,. My hair continued to get thinner. When I started having to change my style that was it. I was gonna do something. I did lots of research then I found Dermatex on Unilocal.
I went in and talked to them and they were cool. No pressure. They understood what I was talking about. The person I talked to had lost his hair and that is how he started that job. I went with what they recommended to me. I am extremely pleased. The people here really know what they are doing. I know the company and the staff has been there a long time. Not worrying about hair loss anymore is really a relief.

About 2.5 years ago I began losing my hair and lost about half the thickness that I had 5 years ago. I saw a dermatologist and his recommendation to me was to use Rogaine. I did use Rogaine, but only grew in a little bit of peach fuzz, that didn’t help the rest of my scalp to grow thick hair. I became desperate because my self confidence was very low and didn’t know what to turn to.
