This is a very nice club. Love the chairs outside. Very nice touch. Looks like great breakfast and if u want coffee I think they had a brand new machine. It’s nice to relax here before the flight.

Still one of my favorite sky clubs, not because of the club itself but mostly because of the staff. Super friendly, and makes you feel very welcome. The décor is very modern, not as comfortable as some but very functional. Like I said before the staff here makes it for me. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable.

Wow ultra modern, urban chic ambiance, amazing breakfast and snacks, a full patio with rocking chairs and high speed wifi make this Delta skyclub lounge a must-visit stop before boarding a flight at SAN; wow wow wow Delta; keep it going!!!

I like this sky club. I really like sitting on the balcony watching the planes come in. I usually come into the club in the morning so I eat breakfast most of the time. Good selection. I wish they had better coffee though. Very comfortable and worth the visit when I have to wait around.

Even though this facility is one of the smaller ones, it is above average for the Delta Skyclubs, they have a porch and rocking chairs that overlook the food court. Its a good place to people watch, but the porch area is a little too noisy for my tastes. The attendants are super friendly and there are plenty of electrical out lets(unlike LAX). This time of day the club is relatively empty which is super nice for a change! Its hard to beat free food and adult beverages, it almost makes flying bearable!

Excellent lounge in terminal 2. It is one of the nicer delta lounges I’ve been to. The only one nicer is in the new terminal at JFK. It has a nice open area with a balcony overlooking the terminal below. It has the usual delta offerings that you find at other lounges(bagels, fruit, open bar). Good wifi, nice staff.

Definitely one of the more unique SkyClubs in the system. Elevated above the ground floor, the club offers quiet areas as well as a balcony with rocking chairs that overlook the runway and the bars and restaurants below. Clean, bright and generally not crowded, this is one of the Clubs that makes waiting for a flight productive and relaxing.

Generally Sky Clubs are all essentially the same so I’ll cut to the few things that make this one unique. Location: I actually asked to find it because I failed to look up. This Sky Club is in the center of the terminal at the top of the escalators or elevator and nestled across from another air carrier lounge. It might’ve taken some time to find but it was worth it. What Makes This Different: This is the first Sky Club that I’ve experienced with a balcony open to the airport, actually the food court below. However, in typical San Diego style this isn’t just any food court. It’s classy open dinning area with what I assume to be 40′ metal ceiling and walled by 100′ of metal and glass for fantastic view of the airport and beyond. The balcony does allow for some of the sounds to creep in but the rocking chairs, floor chargers and side tables brings it all together for a relaxing experience. Amenities: I found nothing new here except the size of the bathrooms was a little small if the club is at full capacity, which is probably a rare occurrence. Expect the standard seating, bar, snack(food) and meeting areas you’ll find elsewhere with a cool clean and modern look. Service: Pleasant and more than helpful to serve. Overall: I think you’ll enjoy this Sky Club and because of the great look and having something different I give the big 4.5 and round up to 5.

There’s not a lot to say about a Sky Club — they’re all strikingly similar. But this one was so nice, it’s worth writing about. In fact, I’d venture to say it’s one of the nicest in the network. There is plenty of space for relaxing and working thanks to an expansive and orderly lay out. The rocking chairs on the«deck» overlooking the terminal are a nice element unique to this club. I was there for an early flight back East and arrived at the door just before the Club opened at 5:00 a.m. The staff inside were cheery and helpful, despite the early hour. Everything was clean and seemed even fresher than the«typical» Club. Five stars for the layout and staff!

The Delta Sky Club at the San Diego International Airport is a HUGE improvement over the previous location in the old terminal. This new location is just through the security checkpoint and then up the escalator above the food court. Turn to your right, and have your ID ready to show the Delta agents seated at the front desk. At first glance the interior seating space seems small, however every seat is positioned right near an outlet, and everyone had their devices plugged in and re-charging before their flights. As with all Sky Clubs there is a large bar area with complimentary coffee, tea, soda, water, beer, wine, and cocktails. You’ve also got the legendary Delta snack bar just off to the side. During the morning hours they have hot oatmeal, cold cereal, pastries and muffins to get your day started. Then later in the day they have carrot sticks, celery sticks, ranch dressing, marinated olives, hummus, peanut butter, crackers, and all sorts of snack munchies just to name a few of the items. What really sets this location apart from so many other Sky Clubs is the very lovely second-story deck which overlooks the food court and airside terminals. Out on this enclosed deck are comfortable rocking chairs, high-top tables and benches, as well as community printers and a copy machine. Oh, and did I mention the free WiFi and super-clean restrooms? I caught myself snoozing as I relaxed in one of the rocking chairs, and I decided that this is a great way to prepare for a cross-country flight. Well done, Delta!

What a SIGNIFICANT upgrade to the new terminal with this new Sky Club. Opened just 6 weeks ago, this bastion of solace offers power outlet after power outlet for all your devices in a comfortable setting with rocking chairs out on the balcony. I like it! This location is thankfully inside security in the center corridor that divides Delta from United gates. A short ride up the escalator or stairs and turn to your right. I was greeted by two lovely Delta employees and told the good news and provided a lay of the land. This Sky Club is really in three parts: First: The main seating area with bar and rather large food area. Pairs of highback chairs with pillars of power outlets in the center reminiscent of actual First Class travel. Second: The outdoor balcony with rocking chairs overlooking the restaurant below. An electronic piano plays melodically and the noise of travelers is quite relaxing. Third: The private meeting rooms and bathrooms are off almost behind the actual Club. Quite smaller than I would have liked, with only a pair of urinals and a single stall. But then again, it’s quite an intimate environment to begin with. Compared to the SAN Sky Club of old and some of the other lounges, it seems to fit in quite nicely. Wasn’t too packed when I was there, though I can imagine during peak travel periods seating would be at a premium.

The new locations clean and nice, located upstairs above the food area, across the escalator from the united club(who would not take my priority pass because it was«select»…(God united sucks). Thankfully, I was and always fly delta. Like i needed another reason to choose Delta over united. It’s not super large, but is nice and of course offers wifi, ample seating, and even a balcony that overlooks the food court of you would like to address your subjects from your kingly perch.(Not recommended). The staff were SUPER friendly even though I was in jeans and flip flops, and was clearly not«a business traveler» they are accustomed to seeing(no stick in my arse, and an appreciation for all fliers regardless of ticket class)… Did I say that??? Well, I was still accepted AND offered a drink within seconds of arrival. As is customary, no one really talked to each other and my chorus attempt of kumbiya went over like a fart in church. Lets just say, not a great place to plan your spiritual retreat, but a cool place to chill and watch a movie, or to hang out away from the gate itself :) all and all, a very nice change it sounds like based on past reviews. :)

The sky lounge is going to be new soon. In the meantime this is clearly small but it’s always a good place to go to wait for flights

It’s a nice place to relax before a flight. I’ve only been here in the early mornings, but they offered some small breakfast items, fruit, juice, and milk. Also, since I was here in the mornings, there were plenty of seats. They have a great view of the tarmac, but even better is their coffee machine. They have the standard lounge things: business center, bathrooms, + wi-fi.(Ok. I guess 2 standard lounge things) I don’t think it’s worth the day pass unless you’re spending more than 3 hours or so in here.

Very inhospitable staff, perhaps they are TSA washouts used to barking orders at people or, on second thought, the all too common disgruntled Delta employee taking it out on their best customers to start their day.

I’m a Sky Club rookie! Lucky for me, I’m able to test out the lounge while vacationing with my man. He has a Sky Club membership because of his frequent business travel and had been telling me about the various lounges for the last few months. According to him, this Sky Club is nothing exciting. As another reviewer mentioned, it’s not worth the money if you’re just getting a day pass. I was so happy with how quiet & relaxing it was in here compared to the rest of the airport. Just a few children and they were extremely well behaved. The staff was very polite. Only real«complaint» is that I didn’t like the horrible fake orchid… Spring for some real plants! :-) I enjoyed the fancy coffee machine and especially enjoyed adding some Baileys to it!

I’ve been to Sky Clubs in Houston, Atlanta, New York City, and Chicago. Compared to those clubs, the San Diego location is a non-factor. At Houston and Atlanta, there are dozens of egg recliners, dozens! And the bar at the Chicago location is very fun. At San Diego, you’ll be lucky to find a seat in the restroom. However, the club is cozy and never full, so you’ll usually find a place to rest up and charge up(your battery-powered accessories). Just don’t expect to find anyone to chat with at the bar. I’m in full agreement with Sheena D. on this one. Don’t buy a day pass…

It’s not the best Sky Club I’ve been to, but it’s a Sky Club none the less. The staff seems to be friendly, but I haven’t had much interaction with them in the last few times I have been there. I find that often times its pretty crowded and bar is lacking compared to other Sky Clubs. If you are not already a Sky Club member, I wouldn’t recommend purchasing a day pass for this one unless you are stuck at the airport for an hour or two.

Very nice Delta representatives here. Some of the friendliest I’ve encountered. It is San Diego & as a whole, most people are friendly!(Sunny &70… except it was cloudy &65 this visit.) One of the smaller clubs, not updated yet to the new style(MSP). Plug ins around the walls, extra magazines & newspapers. Like the Quiet Room, like the tower fan to cool the smaller, cube rooms. Only 1 bathroom, not stalls. Like only 1TV, at low volume. Same drink/food options as other clubs.
