Hello, I have used this catering company for a few years now, and I want to give them some credit they deserve. I have called this company in the morning for a catering delivery that afternoon. I like to call in advance, but when a request comes in at the last minute, there is always that moment when you think who I am going to call for this catering order. Dave is the go to person with this company; he NEVER says anything in a negative way, when you ask for an order at the last minute. He is ALWAYS so nice and willing and ready to create your order. The delivery person is ALWAYS so pleasant and ALWAYS on time. The food is ALWAYS fresh and tasty. Please give this company a try the next time you have a catering order.

I’ve eaten here quite a few times. I can say that the food very decent. They have an awesome tomato and basil soup. It’s a special so it’s not available everyday. I never seem to remember what day they have it though. Their other bomb soup is the split pea soup. My coworker always gets hooked up with a free cup and yours truly gets to eat it. The menu has a lot variety and it’s really good. Every sandwich includes a small teeny cup of macaroni or potato salad. You take ur pick. Only reason I don’t give 5 stars is that it’s not dirt cheap.

I used to visit the Deli House since its pretty close to work and I want a change in scenery from the company’s many cafeterias(You could probably guess where I work if you know the area.). Anyway, I tolerated the place for a few months, but I don’t plan on future trips. Why such a change of heart? Well, for a regular cold sandwich, you might be satisfied(or amused), but if you want a hot sandwiches it sucks. Don’t they know that microwave ovens dry out meat and fish? The last straw came when I ordered a tuna melt. I saw how they made it. They took a scoop of tuna placed in on a plate, drapped a slice of American cheese on top of the tuna, shoved the plate in the microwave, set time and cook, toasted the bread from a 4 bread toaster till browned and… Viola! Crapola! Worst all, the sandwich from Deli House is more expensive than a sandwich you could get from Subway or Quiznos which are far tastier.

Pretty satisfying neighborhood deli catering to the business world masses surrounding it. Located on Qualcomm Mesa of the Sorrento Valley area. I often drop by because I work right by it and on the days I forget to bring lunch. Sandwiches are fairly good, I would recommend the wraps more, especially the Chinese Chicken Wrap. Soup changes all the time, call ahead, on Friday’s they have a good clam chowder and occasionally they have Italian Wedding Soup that’s also superb. Prices are reasonable, service is fast.
