3 floors of liquor!
When you first walk in, it appears as a small liquor store but take a a few steps further and there is another hallway below and above of booze! I specifically came here to look for my husband’s favorite beer. It’s difficult to find just anywhere. They were fully stocked! I even found a beer that I had been wanting to try for months but couldn’t find it anywhere!

This place is seriously your one stop shop for all your liquor and beer needs! Not your average shop, multi-​level, huge selection and organized! Craft beer is all the rage right now and if they don’t have the beer your looking for, it probably doesn’t exist!
The other day I found out they even sell super cute Del Mesa Snapbacks! Maybe I’ll try and holla at Tom, the owner, next time I’m in there to get a discount and start rockin their hat! #DelMesa

They have a huge selection of all kinds of alcohol and their prices are pretty decent! They have a huge wine collection, I could stay there forever!

Craft beer Mecca: after returning from a trip to Boston, I became a craft beer drinker. Discovered this great liquor store after a trip to fashion valley mall that’s located down the street. They have everything you can imagine and more! From the most expensive whiskey, tequila, vodka, etc you get the point. Ask the beer guru Elias about some stouts and recommend me some great stuff! Been coming here for years. Awesome selection of alcohol. The owner that is always there never has a welcoming glare haha. The two younger guys that run the register are friendly most of the time. Just your average local liquor store.

High end Spirits? Check. Rare craft beer? Check. The selection runs deep. I couldn’t get to the wine selection because I would’ve stayed another 30 minutes.
The basement is where all of the wine and craft beer sits until a passionate guest walks through the door to purchase. I spent what could have been an endless amount of time browsing through the craft beer selection. Bottle fermented beers aging peacefully on racks in the basement with most of the selection chilled in display coolers along the wall.
The high end bourbon selection has a strong presence that couldn’t be ignored. Wan Winkle 12 year was selling for $ 600. I’ve seen it for $ 500. But there’s 10% off just for checking in. That brings it to $ 540 so it’s not far off.
The gentleman working behind the counter seemed like the owner. Answered our questions and knows his regulars because he was grabbing items for guests before they even stepped in line.
Next time I’m looking for something rare. Or a boozy gift for a friend. This is my spot.

I want to ask them if saying hello, can I I help you, thanks would hurt them? I was totally ignored but noticed when men came in they were greeted by the guy at the cashier and even got a thanks man! Maybe it’s a cultural thing — surely in the U.S. It’s a rude thing.
I was going to make a large wine purchase but walked out, went to BEV Mo and was asked by 3. Diff. People if they can help me find anything– a huge smile and thanks with my 12 bottle purchase and help out today my car! Prices even lower @ BeV Mo!

Came here looking for a specific beer, and found it and another older beer as well. If you like craft beer, you can’t miss this place. Their selection is amazing. I spent a good 45 minutes just browsing through and picking out some beer for a gift for my boyfriend. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

A pack of Marlboro cigarettes cost 7 dollars. You can buy them for cheaper… anywhere else. The cashier didn’t make eye contact with me and was really unfriendly.

FANTASTIC selection of wine, beer, and bourbon. My go to spot for all things booze! When it was really hard to find Alpine beer, this place had it. Are you a bourbon guy? This place has every bourbon you could name from New York to Kentucky to Local bourbons from Ballast Point to Japan. The wine selection is unique and I always find something interesting here. There is a small deli section that I haven’t used and a upstairs area for convenience store type items. Always use Unilocal to check in for a nice little 10% off coupon.

Awesome beer, wine & liquor selection. It also has the random household things that are super convenient to have at a store close by. This place is awesome! I’m a beer drinker and I love the selection! It’s always changing and there is always a significant variety.

This is a pretty big liquor store. I had no idea there was an upstairs area, until I asked the store clerk if they had an item and he referred me to the stair case, which leads to a room stock piled with random grocery items. I am not sure on the pricing, I didn’t do any comparisons, but this is more like a mini-​grocer/​liquor store. The gentlemen have always been friendly here. There is a food truck outside of this place, as well as a floral stand open from time to time. If you need an item and don’t feel like running into a big, crowded grocery store, I would recommend this place.

They virtually have everything: eggs, dairy, groceries, full deli, chapstick, sewing kits, scotch, beer, et al…
Plus the fish taco truck outside serves authentic San Felipe style seafood!
$ 1.50 for fish tacos are better than Rubios!

If you’re looking for one of the largest Liquor, Wine and Craft Beer selections in San Diego then this is place!
Inventory was well organized and the employees were very knowledgeable. I’m a craft beer guy so I can appreciate when someone knows what they’re talking about and can lead me in the right direction with what I am looking for. Elias is the man!
I’d recommend this place to any and everyone. Great experience!

If you want to experience a huge selection of exotic wines, liquor, and craft beer then head on over to Del Mesa where the staff are friendly (and super helpful). Heck, just come on by to see the only 3 story liquor store! The owner is currently building a website so now us lucky folks will be able to order our booze online! Hurray! Go Del Mesa!

I love this store. I am a serious bourbon and tequila collector. Tom & Larry always have something for me to add to the collection. Terrific service, awesome selection and a food truck in the parking lot. What more could you ask for?

Best liquor store i have ever been to in san diego! These guys have everything! If you can’t find what you’re looking for, look harder because chances are they have it in there somewhere.

If you appreciate craft beer… You need to get to this place STAT! This family owned neighborhood liquor store is awesome! It’s three levels. which always impresses my out of town guests!
Upon entry (2^nd level) is all your hard liquor as well as a deli.
Upstairs (3^rd level) you’ve got a mini grocery store…
Make your way down the ramp (lower level) and you’ve got the craft beer/​wine lovers paradise!

If you are looking for a huge selection of craft beer and/​or a huge selection of bourbons/​whiskys, Del Mesa is the place to go.
If it’s early in the day, Tom is there to help you. The nighttime duo of Larry and Elias pick up right where Tom left off. Awesome service from these guys, if you are looking for it, they will (assuming it’s available) get it for you. Can’t beat that.
They’ve got a deli, it’s bomb. Flower shop outside, treat your girl.
I’ve been going to Del Mesa for beer for a couple years now, and the number of great crafts has grown exponentially. I like that.
One seriously underrated aspect of Del Mesa, is the cooler area. There aren’t many, if any, bottle shops in San Diego where the beers outside the cooler are kept as cool as they are here. The bottle selection, besides being nice and cool, is quite vast and there are definitely some unique brews down there.
If you are a wine person or a looking for a great champagne, you’ll be pleasantly surprised too. Huge selection.

p. s. If you are one of the millions of guys trying to get their girlfriend into beer, ask the guys if they have any Cantillon in stock or a lambic/​kriek. They can be pricey, but it surely beats paying the same price for a bottle of wine.

Wow I have been searching for a specific type of beer for a whole week and this place actually had it!
The guy I spoke to on the phone was really nice and even saved 2 bottles for me to make sure it wouldn’t get taken. When I came into the store it was already ready to go.
It seems like they have a lot of speciality beers and with a Unilocal check in offer of 10% off who could ask for me!
I called again today and the guy even said he would get me more of the beer I wanted. Woohoo!

This family owned business is a great place. My boyfriend and I come here a lot. And well… we love Diet Dr. Pepper… since we live literally next door and go there… umm probably to much. We asked them

Del Mesa has a very extensive selection of not only my lovely craft beers, but wine and alcohol. The three amigos … well brothers, know a lot about all their products and frequently have hosted liquor promo events with Jäger, Patron, and Voli among others.
They are a lucky Lotto Store– I always see them on the News when the Jackpots are high.
Del Mesa also have a small deli inside that dishes out some yummy plates.
I was in here last night and scored on some amazing Almanac sour beers and a Cascade Brewing beer I’ve been searching for.
