Great customer servive, cheap prices and very fast smog check. I bought my car from them and I got a every good deal. Honest, reliable and fast. A+ in my book.

I’ve been coming here with my 91 Honda for ages… it’s as good as it gets… pleasant shaded spot to wait out doors with magazines and potted plants — not fancy, but it works. Efficient and always helpful. Yes, it’s City Heights… I feel truly safe in that area during the day… can be scary for at night a bit. Haven’t compared prices… I have no intention of switching.

The service was phenomenon. I have an old car Acura so finding a place you can trust and not worrying about adding problems on the car are very important for me. I will definite come here again until I save enough money for a new car.

This place is amazing. I brought my car to Dan’s Smog Check and I could not have been happier. Not only did they find a problem that I didn’t know about but after I fixed the car and brought it back, they tested my car again for free and it passed with flying colors.

I have been smogging my cars here for years. Everything from the normal car/​truck to BAR’d civics/​integras. Any issues I ran into were always explained and the techs were helpful and honest

This place is HORRIBLE. If you have a (modified car or any performance sports car) then I highly recommend that you save time by going ELSEWHERE. These guys refused my business after labeling my car as a «kit car». Clearly these guys don’t know much about cars considering the only modification I had was a TRD Supercharger straight from Toyota. I lost the c.a.r.b. sticker for it, so it was understandable why they refused to inspect my vehicle the first time. They told me to go to toyota and get a new one. That’s not a problem. After a week long process I finally get the new c.a.r.b. sticker and they refuse my business AGAIN. They didn’t even bother trying to punch in the executive number into the computer! After a 20 minute dispute which went nowhere because the technicians are complete idiots. I drove the car down a block and got it smogged at another shop within 10 minutes (headache free). Not only that but the prices are ridiculous. $ 50 for test and certificate, while every other smog shop was $ 40…

Really nice guy! I called first and when I went in the next day he remembered me. I was in and out in 20 minutes and the price was very fair. Military discount for smog check, out the door for $ 48. Couldn’t be happier, thanks Dan!

The guy is super nice and honest. He passed my beat up old car today and then gave me advice on how to keep my car healthy. I was in and out in 30 minutes!

In and out in 10 minutes! Maybe a little bit more expensive than most but here you definitely get what you pay for. Been here 3 times– every time has been the same.

Took my Jeep in today for a smog check and was in and out in less than 20 minutes. It is close to SDSU, and it was a great price!

Fast, Friendly and military discount!

Great people. It was right next to my house so I drove it in and ten minutes later I was leaving. Kinda pricey ($ 50) but that included the certificate and they also submit it electronically to the DMV. Very nice guys. Worth it because they aren’t lazy like most mechanics

Great prices on smog checks! Not the safest location. Not a place I would go by myself.
We went in on a Saturday early morning and had 2 cars done in less than 30 minutes.
