Dancing Heart Spa & Boutique

I love this spot. It’s very relaxing and comfortable. I got there and it was just me and the massage therapist. Renne was wonderful, she is as tiny as me but so strong. I had a wonderful massage and facial. I recommend this place to all my friends.

When I moved to San Diego back in early 2008, I had to look for a spa that offers Dermalogica. I was getting married in 2009 and needed to start a facial plan to look fab :) I was definitely glad that Flor was there to make it happen. I bought the 6 pack facial plan and I can say now that my skin looked amazing on my wedding day :)
I ended up only using 5 out of the 6 facials that I purchased. Today, two years later, I got an e-​mail from Flor to remind me that I still have one more facial left.
FIVE stars for amazing facial, esthetician that cares and never ever being a pushy sales person.

First went to this spa in 2005. It’s in a secluded spot just past the Animal Hospital as you are headed south on Park Blvd. make a quick right into the driveway.
I was looking for a spa that offered Dermatologica products, since I had recently had a facial at a place closer to my home that used them.
I was impressed by the website and their philosophy.
Tried various massages – their hot stone, ayurvedic, and deep tissue; and had facials there a couple of times. I was still trying out local spas, and I came back to Dancing Heart in early 2009. They had changed ownership, but their philosophy was still the same. I was impressed by the changes they had made, including the inclusion of the infrared sauna session with many services.
I have had two wonderfully relaxing 90-​minute fusion massages with Ruth, and today, had the Queen Mother with Regina – the sauna, fusion massage, hand and foot reflexology, back scrub, and mini-​facial.
What I like about the two therapists I have had, is that they are able to adapt to your needs, voiced and not, to create a ending feeling of bliss and peace.
Dancing Heart Spa always has specials, so if there is an event or holiday coming up, you can be sure they have a spa steal. I think this place in one of Hillcrest’s best-​kept secrets. ;)

A cozy little spa set just off of Park in the corner of Hillcrest, Dancing Heart Spa is a delightful little spot.
I was given a gift certificate for a 60 minute fusion massage for Christmas and had a wonderful hour with Candace this morning. Friendly and warm, both Candace and the receptionist (possibly the owner) helped me relax quickly and easily. The hour flew by, as hours in massage time tend to do, and I left feeling smooth as butter and easy as Sunday morning.
They offer a full range of massages, facials, body treatments, peels and waxing services. Prices are comparable to a nice spa – I believe my massage is normally $ 75.
I’ll happily go back there again – once another holiday rolls around and I can hint hint that another gift certificate there would be a swell gift!
