D J’s Construction

After being frustrated with previous contractors who worked on or 1940’s home, we took a recommendation from Dixieline for DJ’s Construction and we are glad we did. DJ’s has now remodeled our kitchen, added a front porch, and redone both bathrooms. At this point we wouldn’t use anybody else.
Don at DJ’s is a great contractor to work with. He worked with us to develop our plans and easily found solutions for any construction issues we had. Don was also quick to offer improvements to our plans both before and during construction. He has great attention to detail and provided nothing but the highest quality workmanship — he expects and gets the same from his sub-​contractors as well. I think he will be the first to tell you that he is not a designer, but if you don’t have your own I’m sure he will help find somebody for you in the style you want.
Probably the best thing that can be said about Don is that he worked on our home as if it were his own; we had no doubt that Don wanted us to be happy with the end results. Our projects were very well organized, the schedules were well defined and kept on track, the worksite was always kept clean, and Don was extremely considerate of our needs during construction. All of our projects have finished on time and on a budget right for the work. DJ’s is not the least expensive contractor but they’re also not the most. You’ll definitely get what you pay for and I’ll pay more to have someone I can trust.
