Idk why people say it has good prices. Books aren’t even sold at cover price. The top loaders for a set of 10 are usually $ 13 – 14 not 20. Some variety.

This shop is not inexpensive at all. Decent book selection, but they get bonus points for an awesome collection of the«stuff» portion in their name. So many figures, unique tees, and other stuff in their arsenal. Also great service

I love this place you feel surrounded of amazing stuff, my boyfriend and I go at least once every two weeks! Kevin it’s super friendly and really good at what he does. Makes you wish you could find great customer service everywhere you go! That’s how me and my boyfriend feel about this store it’s just so cozy and with all these pretty, nerdy, things. Plus the location it’s great, if you love the city… Plus CINNABON… Keep it up with the good stuff Kevin!

This review is 100% based in the service. Two people were working there when we visited. One of them was fine, the other was rude, so disappointing.

I just wanna live in this comic book store cause its so amazing. It’s Neverending coolness and I just want to be there forever. Thousands and thousands of comics, great merchandising of my favorite shows and cartoons, and helpful yet lax crew members who are very nice and knowledgeable. Love it here.

Friendly staff, huge store! Good selection. Could be better stocked on current cards, lots of outdated stuff but overall a good stop.

I don’t know where to start but I will keep this review short and simple. Kool, Crazy, Amazing and I can’t wait to go back. Any fan of Animé or Walking Dead and Big Bang Theory, this place is for you. This shop that is is hidden in the Horton Plaza and is a must go to if one likes hard to find and one of a kind collectors items. The prices are steep depending on what one is looking for. But It is worth every penny ! Hard to find and imported items at your fingertips! Comic Con Fans must come to this establishment if not, you are missing out !!! Personally I would not tell about a place like this because of my vinyl addiction but I have recovered, so I tell you my Unilocaling friends come and get the goodies !!

They had a great selection, probably the best I’ve seen in any comic store in the U.S. or the UK. They also have a membership card which gets you various discounts on different products. Definitely will return

They are always SORUDE to me when I come here, particularly the man with the hipster glasses and the foul body odor. I’ve shopped at the various Comics N Stuff locations for several years(literally since the early 90s when they were«Comic Castle» in Chula Vista). Much of the staff at this location is the same staff who works their locations at the Chula Vista shopping mall. It feels like they became cranky, hostile and rude right at around the time the new location was about to open, and it’s gotten worse at this new Horton Plaza location. I am always shopping for the latest He-Man, Spider-Man and X-Men comic book titles and will occasionally purchase a few others. As of the last couple months, they no longer allow you to look at the comics before buying. How else will I know which of the 20 new X-Men titles released per month is the one I want!!! They don’t allow VISA or credit card for purchases under $ 5. Comics are priced $ 3 – 4 each! Inconvenient much? The staff is always trash talking customers. «That’s the man who tried to pay by card!» «That’s the man who TRIEDTOREAD A COMICBOOK!» «That girl once TOUCHED a teddy bear!» Heaven help us all. At this particular location, it feels like staff is patrolling the«new comic book» area like the police looking to hand out DUIs on New Year’s Eve. And the man with the foul body odor has become increasingly rude and snarly, especially for me being such a regular, long-time customer. San Diego has no shortage of other comic book stores, many of which are award-winning for their excellent customer service and have employees who bathe, shower and brush their teeth routinely. I have decided I will take my business elsewhere.
