I had a fantastic experience with Colony Cleaners. I went in to have a men’s dress shirt laundered, two shirts dry cleaned, a zipper on a pillowcase replaced, and a rip in a pair of hiking pants mended. Everything was delivered right on time, at a reasonable price, and with the highest quality workmanship — the pillowcase looks good as new, I can finally wear those pants again, and the shirts look great — even the weird rayon-silk-whatever one I was never able to get looking good before. Great work!

I have been coming here for awhile now and never disappointed with getting my martial arts uniforms cleaned. Never again. One brand new uniform, brought into to have slightly shrunk by dry cleaning, came back worse than dropped off. It looks horrible. I wish I had never brought it to them. My son is testing today for his black belt and his jacket is completely wrinkled. I could have done better at home for free. Every single item we brought home yesterday, including my husband’s dress shirts were very damp. They would have molded if kept in the plastic bags. And to add insult to injury, they’ve «changed» the way they categorize my uniform by changing way more than I was paying, and not only that, they changed my ticket the day after dropping off the laundry because they made a mistake(no phone call to me or any explanation) but my total increased from $ 66 to $ 91 with no advance notice before pick up. Huge hit to my wallet before Christmas. I have spent thousands here, literally. Oh well, time to find a new cleaners. DONOTGOHERE! Quality way way way down from just a month ago. Stay away!!!

Always pleasant. Cleaning is completed on time and the quality is good. You can’t ask for much more than that.

Don’t believe the negative reviews. They’re truly nice honest people here. When I walk in they don’t even ask my name or #, they know who I am without me having to say a thing. Friendly funny people

Used their dry cleaning services for a year because they are close to my work. Nothing special and prices were a little high, but it was convenient. I will no longer use their services though because they lost my favorite shirt. They offered store credit, but when I asked how will I know they won’t lose more of my stuff, the lady just shrugged her shoulders. As a dry cleaning service your number one rule should be to not lose people’s clothes. I used to spend probably $ 30 – 40 a month there, but I will take my money elsewhere.

I have always had a great experience here. I love the fact that I can turn my clothes in late in the morning and still get them back on the same day. That’s fast. I also like the fact that I don’t have to bring my tags in to retrieve my clothing. My phone number is all that I need. Very convenient. As long as these guys are in business, I’ll be bringing my clothes here.

Reasonably priced, friendly staff and good service. Their dry cleaning service could be improved a little.

I’ve been taking my clothes here for years. The employees are friendly, my clothes come out clean and crisp, and the price is reasonable. I used Vons(next door) a few times until they lost one of my suits and I’ve used Colony Cleaners ever since. The only downfall is they can’t do immediate dry cleaning for those last minute *cough* times where I procrastinated. For example, if you turn in something Friday after 10am, you will miss the cut off for getting it shipped out and you will have to wait until Monday to pick it up.(They are closed on Sundays.)

I’ve been using their dry cleaning services for my suits, dress pants and dress shirts weekly for the last three years. In all this time, they did lose one of my blue dress shirts, but they were quick to compensate me for the cost of the shirt. I’ve also used them to clean bit items such as bed comforters as well as my wife’s dresses and suits. Just make sure to specify if a particular item needs dry cleaning and not laundry, as there was one time that we had an item mistakenly laundered. Other than that, they have been very fast, reliable, and friendly.

You only get one chance to make a first impression. I had to look my best for my job interview so I got my dress shirts/suits cleaned and pressed here. My glowing personality and impressive resume weren’t going to cut it by themselves. I had to look the part and dress to impress. I got the job. Now I can afford to bring more dress shirts and suits here. My new job requires that I do so. :)

Brought one of my favorite dresses in… got it back and when I put it on… low and behold… it’s 4 inches longer! WTF! Really? Turns out the hem came totally apart and instead of letting me know, they just left it out, and before the night was over, my dress was frayed all over the bottom. Yeah, I wore it. I do shit like that because I procrastinate like hell and didn’t have time to bring it back to their attention before the party. But whatever, too late now. Then…oh yeah, there is a then. I brought a coat in to have dry cleaned along with 4 other items. When I came to pick my stuff up, the coat wasn’t there. After further investigation, it turns out that they said they needed to send it to their other facility to have it cleaned again. Why? Was there some random crusty leftovers on the coat? Blood? Wine? Last I checked, it was black, wasn’t stained, and wasn’t entirely too offensive. Needless to say, they didn’t call me and I left out of town without my favorite coat. Arrgh! The staff here is super friendly, but not worth losing my favorite dress over.

This review does not apply to their dry cleaning services but to their tailoring. I brought three pairs of trousers and three shirts in for hemming and sleeve shortening. Upon picking them up, every item was too short by an inch or more — the sleeves are at my wrists, and the pants show my socks at the bottom. They’ll be great for my Pee Wee Herman costume next Halloween. There’s nothing to be done about over-aggressive hemming, so the clothes, while not exactly ruined, aren’t something I’m happy to wear, so I’m warning others to beware.
