Go often and everyone there’s always nice. Food is delicious. Today I ran in, noticed they sell margaritas, commented and had a laugh with them about it, and they told me at the register my lunch was on them today. What an amazingly nice thing to do, it made my day. Thanks chipotle!

How do you not have guacamole because it’s «not up to standards» seriously. Ruined my experience. Never going back again.

for the past ten years, I got my burritos«quesoritos», which basically means they melt cheese before, then make the burrito. Now they’ve decided to charge an extra $ 3.50, JUSTTOMELTCHEESE. While I get it that they use more cheese then usual on these, extra cheese on your burrito costs nothing extra. Nothing costs extra except double meat, or guac. Had to get my burrito regular, and after ten years of having it with melted cheese, and now having the whole burrito cold, it was simply disgusting. If you want to charge an extra dollar that’s fine, but saying you have to charge us for a whole quesadillas in addition to a burrito just to melt the cheese it’s RIDICULOUS. long time eater won’t be back again, there’s simply too many options of places to eat.

Good meals, good inexpensive options. Seating is busy inside, less busy outside. Staff is great about making food as desired. Parking is usually good.

I love Chipotle! This location. not very much. Once it became me and my boyfriends turn in lines the guy that starts out the burrito gestured us to come over impatiently immediately after he finished with the previous customer. There was no one else in line behind us and we weren’t holding up a line in any way. Rude. Not only that, he asked me what kind of meat I wanted and I said Sofritas and he made a smart a** remark about it after rushing me through. I didn’t like feeling rushed at all. To top it off, he rushed my boyfriend and asked him«What lettuce do you want? They’re both the same.» The experience was just rushed and overall unpleasant. Never experienced this kind of service at a Chipotle before.

This comment is not necessarily directed towards the Chipotle on Rosecrans but to Chipotle in general. I was very sad to see them change policy and start making the servers measure out exact portions of the proteins. That was typically a very big part in the value that you received from Chipotle. Off ten times they were very generous with the portions. The quality of the food seems to still be pretty high. I guess the generous portions was not very cost effective. I understand that as a bussiness but it still sux to see it go away as a customer.

I love eating at Chipotle! We don’t have any stores where I’m currently living in Hawaii, so I try to get to these shops when on travel. This location was fast and friendly, with the expected wonderful burritos. I’m a fan of the chicken… such great flavor! Parking is plentiful here as well.

Can’t understand why is so hard to write legibly on the foil. We bought 5 burrito and we had to go through each one because it literally looked like a chicken walked across the wrapper. I mean you spend close to 50 bucks you’d expect at least some commonsense when they label it.

Long lines, burned veggies. People leave their trays on the tables. It was quite busy today when I came during lunch time, most of the tables were full, to make matters worse people didn’t clean their tables, so there was no place to sit.

Wish I didn’t have to give a star at all the lady was so rude. Wish I knew her name but they don’t wear name tags. Never come here again. Found out the girls name ONI but they should really do something not only she was straight out rude she was laughing and saying stuff about me. First and last time I ever come here again. Ugh asked for a manager and no one cared and no manager came out.

As a previous reviewer said the food across almost all Chipotles is amazing and quality is usually there. However, theres always that one that gets away and yes this is that one guys. The place is not the cleanest or freshest on a hot summer day. The line up is messy and they are disorganized at doing their job. The portions were significantly smaller than any other Chipotle ive been too I had to ask for more of even the simple things like rice and beans for both bowls we bought. Onced we got thought the line and found a decent looking table outside we realize about half our chicken was burned on both bowls. I don’t believe this would be the best representation of a Chipotle and definitely needs a boost from corporate to meet there standards. Please find another chipotle if you must have some and are in the area.

I like this chipotle but they get stuck on stupid most of the time. I came in for lunch and there were only 2 people on the line while they had people wrapping around the restaurant. I know that they are supposed to have 4 people on the line for lunch rush hour but they don’t seem to grasp efficient service. Their line is always messy, they consistently skimp on portions and lately, they always seem to run out of stuff. Last time when I ordered online, I gave them 30 minutes before I was gunna get there. They never started the meal. In fact, my order was still on the printer because«they didn’t see it come in». This place just needs a little help from corporate. Still decent food but I would rather go Downtown or out to Mission Valley before I come here.

The facility was hot, the bathroom was a mess along w the dining room. The salad was decent, shortened on the chicken and lettuce… not usual for chipotle… Probably won’t be back here to this location.

Chipotle food is pretty much standard across different locations. This review is about the experience and employees. There was a line of employees to greet me. I had to repeat myself several times, got home and still didn’t get what I wanted. This one guy asked me three times what I wanted and I told him three times. Was he high??? WTF. It’s not that difficult. It’s not a complex, multi page menu. Very disappointed.

They were all backed up. Only 2 people trying to run the whole place. No Chefs for 10 min. Something is wrong with this Chipotle. Not sure. All of a sudden 3 people come from out side to help. Now it’s all intense and the staff is stressed trying to make it all happen.

This goes to what looked like one of The store managers working during 6PM on March 24th. Your attitude and service was very dissatisfying and disappointing. We all know chipotle is usually a pretty busy place but to my surprise there were only 5 people in line. I simply asked for a chicken bowl and asked for every ingredient that I wanted, but none the less I got more than I wanted. Speed is only as good as your efficiency. The audacity this employee had to be upset at me for her mistake is absurd. Even the other employees knew she messed up and they apologized to me for her behavior. I go to that chipotle at least twice a month for lunch. I can understand when it’s busy but there were literally only 5 customers. Definitely never coming back because of that one single employee who couldn’t get my order right andstill had the nerve to be upset at me for it.

My experience was generally positive, despite some special order customers ahead of us in line. It was something about brown rice and needing tortillas arranged in such a way that the food wasn’t touching each other. Whatever the OCD request was, it simply brought the Chipotle machine and our chow line to a slow crawl. A riot ensued in my mind. Fortunately, the staffing level at dinner time was sufficient that the employee who was working on my order waved me ahead so she could finish making my dish. Faith in humanity restored. Every order is a special order, customized to your liking. I got a Sofritas & veggie bowl w/black beans, rice, salsa, cheese, sour cream, and lettuce. I didn’t get want to pay extra for the guac or their salty chips. Besides, our friends who arrived there first, ordered too much and ended up sharing their extras. The chips are crispy, yet have enough tensile strength to pass the scoop test. I noticed that this store removed carnitas from their menu. I wasn’t concerned because… sofritas. Apparently a number of stores were affected due to the company’s decision to suspend a supplier in January ’15 for violating Chipotle’s Responsibly Raised standard of humane conditions. I’m not sure if/when they’ll bring back carnitas and not terribly concerned about it since there are other menu options.

I literally made this Unilocal just to express how happy I was with my burrito bowl. Best Chipotle I’ve had in weeks. Mission Valley chipotle has been going downhill, Hllcrest location is pretty solid but not quite as good as this. Definitely my new go-to chipotle, despite having to drive by 2 Chipotles to get here(living in Hillcrest).

Chipotle is one of those places you go to that isn’t so fast«foody» and makes you feel like you’re eating pretty decent. I like it and tend to get the veggie bowl or veggie burrito. I especially like going heavy on the salsa and easy on the beans. Food is great but today my experience SUCKED big time! i went in with my two daughters and I noticed that a homeless looking man followed up behind us. My spidey senses were tingling and told me to keep an eye on the fella. For some reason or another he kept scooting up closer to my daughter and I decided to make a stance and STAREDHIMDOWN with my hand on my hips. He apologized about invading my «space(as he puts it — as he draws an imaginary line two feet behind us).» He repeatedly invaded my space until I had said something to him. Anyone that has gone to a Chipotle knows that you pretty much pick and choose your items«fresh» as they assemble it in front of you and after which you pay at the register. I noticed that since i was behind my two daughters the old man was now trying to invade my space and kept scooting up towards my left. I realized he hadn’t ordered anything when I had gotten to the register. As I was pulling my wallet open he asked for a meal. I don’t mind buying a homeless person a meal but when they start telling you that he can’t chew because he has no teeth(he was asking for a meat to go with his food. How in the world can you chew meat if you can’t chew?) and so on… it becomes uncomfortable. He then sticks his hands out and asks for bus money all within viewing of the Chipotle front line. This is my dilemma: Chipotle managers on duty must have seen this transaction happen and did nothing about it. When questioned if it was their practice to allow homeless people to badger and beg their customers for food and money INSIDE the dining room their response was, «I thought he was with you.» «Really? You thought this homeless, unkept man was with us? Despite hearing our interaction about him invading my/our space?» I’m sorry Chipotle. I like your food but I don’t like feeling threatened and cornered by a stranger for money and food. Your staff saw this happen and did nothing to ensure the comfort and safety of the customers. Don’t get me wrong, people know I’m a charitable person and I will help people when I see fit. But there was something«off» about this person and when I feel threatened and staff and management of a restaurant that I’m dining at does nothing to ensure the safety for me, my family and other customers — it doesn’t make me want to patronize that restaurant. No, I wasn’t hurt and neither were my children but practice such as this make it very uncomfortable and unsettling to enjoy a good meal.
