Solid as always. Fresh, quality ingredients and awesome flavors for less than $ 10 make this a go-to spot. Can’t go wrong with any of the options and I love that they have Jones sodas on tap. Check in for a free one! Though the 4″ nub never sounds like enough, with all those meaty, cheesy, saucy fillings, I’m rarely ever able to finish the 6″ pinner. Gotta hold myself to the 4-incher from here on out!

A bunch of super nice dudes servin’ up surprisingly above average sandwiches. That was my experience in a nutshell. I heard from a friend of a friend of a friends friend that their samz were off the chain, and it’s so close to my work so ooooobviously I skipped on down there last week to gobble up this so called goodness. I was not disappointed! I don’t know what kind of magical toaster they’re workin’ with back there, but I’m tellin ya, it’s the MVP of toasters. I love how you can choose from a lil baby 4″ all the way up to a 12″. I built my own. Turkey, ham, and like every possible vegetable they had. They give you a number so they can serve you your food. I dig that. There are hilarious picture on these table numbers too. I sat outside with a few homies and I kid you not, stoners really did gravitate to this place. They were left and right. It was freaking awesome. Everyone was smiling; the patrons, the staff, the sandwiches themselves! I’m not sure if there’s some sort of «secret ingredient» in these bad boys, but if there is, it’s a workin’! I was so damn satisfied with my sandwich. I highly recommend this place. I can’t wait to go back next week! I mean… look at their«Ice Cube» button when you go there. Nailed it.

loved the atmosphere, its fun celebrating all the stoney things about life. The staff was friendly and my sandwich, the Griefo pinner on signature garlic something bread was delicious. and its pretty awesome that they have grape kool-aid. you don’t see that everywhere!

If your in PB you can tell it is 420 friendly, if you make it into he «Cheba hut» you can tell they have a very stoner friendly menu. Good sandwiches as expected from such earthly people. Many options and delicious.

unique joint that is obviously catered to the marijuana lovers in Cali but is impressive even for the ones who aren’t stopping in to satisfy their munchies and cotton mouth. the menu is hilariously set up like a dispensary would be and the décor is primarily weed jokes and puns. love the vibe! everything on the menu sounded delicious and had a unique twist. for example, their loaded NOT-CHOS(nachos) are served over Doritos rather than regular tortilla chips. UHMYESPLEASE! as tempting as that sounded, I went with the white widow sandwich. I added buffalo sauce to it which made it their red widow. the girls at the counter were super chill and down to earth and made us feel more than welcome in their hut. the sandwich came with tender marinated chicken breast, bacon, mushrooms all smothered in cheese with«homegrown» ranch sauce and«baked» to perfection. the veggies that topped it off were all super fresh. also love that they have Jones soda rather than the boring, typical Coke or Pepsi products.

So my friend raves about this place since we practically moved here back in 2012. We always swore we would go there together one day. The day finally came. We snuck away to get keys made and we came here for dinner. I gotta say, walking in, the place reminded me of my glory days when after a little huff and puff and intriguing conversations about politics, we gather up the appetite to run down to subway across the street. But don’t get it twisted. Cheba Hut is far from Subway. If Subway was Tijuana, Cheba Hut would be Humbolt County(literally). I got the pakalolo(ham, swiss, pineapple) and the skywalker(italian with jalapeño), both of which were out of this world. You can taste the freshness in every bite. The pineapple added just the right amount of sweetness for the sandwich. The skywalker kept really well for lunch the next day. All of my coworkers were peanut butter and jealous. This is definitely my go-to spot in PB from here on out.

My first time here. My friend Shaun use to go to the one in Arizona all the time when he used to live up there. Shaun highly recommended we eat here. I ordered a Jamaican Red Chicken Sandwich with a regular size drink. They have real cane sugar drinks which is a plus plus plus infinite for me. I rarely see fountain drinks with peer cane sugar. The sandwich was delicious, it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever tasted. I’m from Orange County & if there was spot out there I would likely be a regular. The music played here was like being at home. I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. I love this place. The people whom work here are genuine good people.

Randomly popped in since it’s conveniently located next to Ray’s surf rentals. Split the Apollo 13 sammich with a friend and it was surprisingly delicious. Probably one of the few«healthier» items on the menu, but it didn’t lack in flavor. Loved the garlic spread paired with the kalamata olives and feta, and the chicken was so juicy. Also splurged on a giant cap’n crunch rice crispies treat… OHLAWD. 0% nutritionally beneficial but 100% satisfying. Service is fast and they’re open late, can’t complain. Definitely my fav pick for sammich place in PB, I’ll take this place over Fat Sal’s, Wich Wich, and even Board and Brew!

I must admit, out of all reputable sandwich places, Cheba Hut is my favorite! The theme is very fun! Once you get past the sandwich sizes,(nug, pinner and blunt), you get to snicker among your friends on the sandwich names.(I had the delicious white widow). After placing your order with your friendly Cheba Hut associate, you will notice the fountain which holds the king of sodas, JONES soda! Alas, you see the funny Ice Cube rapper picture on the ice cube dispenser and think to yourself, «How clever and witty,» The customer service was prompt, professional and friendly. The sandwiches were delicious and toasted, pun intended. The desserts were great too, if you like rice krispy treats made with cap’n crunch or fruity pebbles.

This place is about as tacky as it gets but aside from that its a solid place to grab some late night food. I had the full size«white widow» it was chicken, ranch dressing with lettuce, tomato & onion on a garlic roll. I must admit the roll was very good especially for a sandwhich shop on the west coast.

Cheba Hut such incredible service. Their employees are always happy! Plus the food is amazing! On my birthday, they gave me a free snack! And then today when my order took a little longer due to a large order placed in front of me, they gave me another snack! Eat here! You won’t regret it!

One of my favorite sandwich spots ever! The vibe of the sandwich shop and the creativity of the names is perfect! The people working were very nice and accommodating of some of my special requests. I got the Jamaican red with avocado instead of cheese. Delicious!

Perfect sandwich stop for munchies, drunchies, you name it. There’s an obvious theme to their shop and menu… if you don’t catch it, then I really can’t help you. I got the Thai Stick(size: 8″ pinner) the time I went. I’m pretty sure I could have finished a whole blunt. I was that hungry and it was that good. My sandwich came with an unexpectedly large and unwanted amount of veggies(mostly lettuce…) and it made it look more packed than it actually was. Still bomb though. The menu is fun and extensive, it was kind of difficult to settle on one choice. Hope to be back very soon to try the other combos. Service was straightforward and simple. Get in, get out. Also, as a note, I used the bathroom here and it was so confusing? I wasn’t, ummm, the most clear-headed at the time but there was this weird lock/combo/code thing on the door that we had to punch in a few numbers to open the door. Am I remembering this correctly? If so, that shit was confusing.

By far the greatest place to get a sandwich! I used to go to the one by SDSU and was beyond stoked when I heard they were opening up so close to where I live now! I get the Kali Mist extra toasted with a side of Frank’s red hot sauce. This place is to die for and I will most definitely be coming back for a bite sometime soon! I got a stamp card months ago when I was at the SDSU location. I know this location is new, but I wonder if they’ll accept it! I guess I’ll just have to come back to find out…

Enjoyed their Italian sandwich — great mixture of meats and cheeses, with a toasted bread and topped with veggies. Everything on the menu is essentially named after a strain of MJ, which I thought was pretty hilarious. Prices are about $ 10 for a large and approximately $ 7 for a medium — I was totally fine just eating a medium although if you are hungry I would opt for the large. Check in for a free drank with purchase.
