Cathy did the make-​up for my wedding and she did a really great job! I felt radiant but still very natural. I would recommend her to anyone who has something special they want that special touch for.

I just had my wedding last weekend at a winery in Temecula. Being an Asian bride who doesn’t live in L.A., i was really worried about finding my perfect makeup artist, until i found Cathy.
I did my first try-​out with her and was impressed with her professionalism; I also felt comfortable communicating with her; she knew what I want right away. The second time I brought my bridesmaid with me for another tryout, and we both just love her more! She travelled to Temecula on my wedding day and did my makeup plus the other 3 bridesmaids and 2 flower girls in less than 3 hours! She was super efficient and knew how to manage the time which was really important on the wedding day.
I trusted Cathy 100% and all the girls were satisfied with our makeup. I highly recommend Cathy and will definitely go back to her for my next events.

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding where we had Cathy as our make-​up artist. Let me tell you… I loved, loved, LOVED my look! All it took was for me to show her a picture, and Cathy went to work!
Keeping it real, being Asian (and having been an Asian bride), the search for a makeup artist in San Diego is not so easy and pretty scary. Cathy definitely has it down and can be trusted to work on Asian faces. Cathy listens and understands personal requests and can work them into the overall look. She is honest with what will look good versus wouldn’t recommend. For me personally, I appreciated that Cathy listened when I asked her to make sure my eyes looked round, which is the only thing I am really nitpicky about. She also asked if I tend to wear my eyeliner thin or thick (I draw mine thick), which is something no other makeup artist asked before.
The wedding was just this past weekend so we don’t have pictures yet, but I can’t wait to see them! I will be back to post some here :) For now, I will tell you that everyone was complimenting our look, so I know Cathy did a great job. Of course guests are always kind, but my husband was blown away and continues to complement me over and over again.

Cathy did my make-​up for my wedding, and I absolutely loved it. I suffer from redness and scars on my face, and her make-​up line made my skin look flawless. I was using MAC foundation and powder for years because of the coverage, but I immediately switched to Cathy’s make-​up line after seeing the same coverage (minus the high cost or cakiness too). I loved working with her also, she has a great sense of humor and did amazing work with my mom & bridesmaids. Thank you so much, Cathy, for making us look magazine-​ready ;)

Cathy did my bridal makeup this past weekend, and I highly, highly recommend her! I was referred to her by my wedding planner – who is pretty well-​connected so the referral comes with weight – particularly for her expertise in makeup for Asian brides. I saw her months before the big day for a trial session (I scheduled it for the morning of my engagement photo session, so that worked out well), which I definitely recommend because it gives you time to figure out your own preferences for your wedding day (turns out I had a lot of preferences and I didn’t even know it). Cathy is definitely receptive to what you want/​suggestions, but also has an eye for what will photograph well, so works with you to create the perfect look. I was a little worried about looking too cakey and done up, but in the end, my skin looked amazing, I felt absolutely beautiful all day, and I wouldn’t change one thing!
