Carissa might seem too good to be true, but believe it. This lady is a rockstar stylist. I’ve been coming to her for the past year, since a disastrous haircut that let my hair in pieces. What she did repairing that cut was total magic, and I’ve been a loyal client since. I’d never been the girl who made regular trips to the salon before Carissa, partially due to not finding the right person. That’s definitely changed; this girl does the freshest cuts, most luxurious color jobs, and overall impeccable work. On top of that, her rates are totally decent, she’s great at working with your schedule and making time for you, and she’s an absolute sweetheart. On top of that, her new salon Swagg is hot! Super swanky NYC vibe. You’ll feel fancy ;)

When I first moved to San Diego I went to Jean Claude Salon, because it’s walking distance to home. I was so lucky they paired me with Carissa! I’ve been going to her now for over a year and I always love my hair color and cut. She treats her clients fabulously. Highly recommend!

This was probably the best hair service I have ever received ! Everywhere I went to do my hair I never liked how it turned out until I went to Carissa. She is so nice and makes you feel so comfortable. I am in love with my balayage hair. She also gave me other hair tips to keep my hair healthy and beautiful. I love her work !

Right at the start– I felt very welcome, and everyone was very kind. Thanks Carissa and Jean Claude Salon.
I haven’t had a good color (as in one I LOVE) in years. I’m always changing salon because I don’t know how good the stylists are and if they can achieve what I’ve asked of them. Carissa was great. She explained every option I had and understood what I wanted in the end. The result was great. I love my haircut and the color— it’s exactly what I wanted. Thanks Carissa.
I will definitely come in again.

I had bought a groupon deal for a hair cut and treatment for my hair, so I booked an appointment with Carissa and she was fabulous! she cut my hair just like I told her. I left the salon with nice and healthy hair again.
So I returned the next week again with Carissa to get the balayage which is kind of like very light highlights and she did a great job. I highly recommend her. She’s very nice and sweet.
