They aren’t closed :) I called the number listed, spoke with Tony. Found out they are at various Farmers Markets throughout S.D. weekly. He explained his schedule, went to Ocean Beach Farmers Market Wednesday and got my pie!!! Delish!!! Best ever! Next time I’m trying the brownies too!

If you haven’t tried the sweet potato brownies then you are missing out! They are brown sugary, perfect sweet, and simply wonderful. The biscuits are killer as well. We order them for our events, and they are a crowd pleaser. As the holidays come closer, make sure you get a pie, a batch of sweet potato cinnamon rolls, or some biscuits for your guests. You can find them at Whole Foods down in San Diego and at farmer’s markets — stock up when you can!

Everyone should try the Sweet Potato Pie!!! I love everything about it! Even the crust is amazing and I usually am not a crust fan! You can tell Cane Patch Pies take pride in their baking. I will be ordering a sweet potato pie, the brownies, and biscuits for every holiday! A must try!

The sweet potato brownies are to die for. I also bought an apple pie for Thanksgiving and my family loved it. Everything they make is delicious and a healthy treat. You can tell that they are very passionate about what they make. They make the treats with lots of love. Thanks for the yummy treats.

Sweet potatoes… meh. Pies? Meh. Brownies? Meh. HOWEVER… Sweet potato brownies and sweet potato pies? OH… MY… STARS. Not only does this business make delicious food(I’ve had their pound cake too which is insanely DELICIOUS), but the food is GOOD for you. Made with organic ingredients, with vegan and gluten-free options, and promoting wholesome, homecooking… it’s just amazing. There are too few business like that. And setting aside the food… their customer service is amazing. I had given my opinion on one of the gluten-free, vegan, oatmeal-raisin cookies and they had actually followed up on it. They acknowledged my opinion and actually made a new batch and asked me to try it. I mean… WHODOESTHAT? Now that right there is the small-town, genuine, mom-n-pop shop customer service that I truly miss. Cane Patch… you keep doing what you do and spread the positivity around. It is definitely making this world a better place.(o:

I hope to try the pies soon, but I was lucky to get my hands on some sweet potato biscuits. These are a must for any foodie. It’s rare to get authentic southern cooking in San Diego so thank you Cane Patch for sharing your family recipes with us!

I had the chance to taste one of Tony’s and John’s Sweet Potato Pies a few weeks ago and it was amazing! I had never had them before and was afraid that it would taste like pumpkin, or be very veggie flavored(and might turn me off). This was not the case! Yummy, healthy and with such flavor, I highly recommend giving this Veteran owned start up business a call just in time for the upcoming holiday season! I am very impressed by what these two gentlemen have started and the delicious flavor of their pies.
