My Giant Roam 1 got stolen very recently and this morning I went online to check pricing etc and saw Cal Coast had the best deal going by far. Called and spoke with Brandon who gave me the particulars and asked him to save it(as it was last one in that size) and told him I would be there after work. When I got there I found him and introduced myself as the caller this morning who wanted the Giant Roam 1, he said hold on one second I put it away for you and then got it and brought it to me. Brandon is super friendly and bike smart and what a great employee they have in him. Also, upon buying the bike they threw in so much it’s shocking. Lifetime tuneups, flat tire repair and other very important things that we as consumers look for and need. My go to new bike shop. Brandon and another employee came out and helped me load the bike in my vehicle too. LOVEDTHEWHOLECREWTHERE!

The guys and Cal Coast went out of their way to fix a warrantee issue I had. I could not find my original receipt to my Giant Antem Advance and Alex(Store Manager) got on the phone with Giant, looked up the history on my bike and got me a new frame. He could have easily told me I was out of luck without a receipt but took the time to help me. I go there often and all they guys in the shop are knowable and treat you like family. I highly recommend Cal Coast to anyone!!!

Amazing customer service! Super knowledgable! Expert tune up and honest staff just trying to get you exactly what you want and on the road. No unnecessary upselling here– they want you to be happy, informed, and safe. If they don’t have what you want they will order it for you! This is my new neighborhood bike shop! :) Thank You Cal Coast Bicycles!!! And a big thanks to Rudy and the Techs!

Bought a bike out of a box that shipped to me from the dealer. I did a super basic assembly myself but took it to Cal Coast to get it professionally tuned up, brake lines, dérailleur, disc brakes, etc. Cost me $ 80. I dropped it off at 3pm and they called me at 5pm telling me it was done. Super fast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely a trustworthy place.

I’ve bought two bikes from them and have spent well over $ 6000 there. They are my local bike shop and I have tried to support them, but they disappoint me every time. Issues started with them when I took my bike in to have a couple of spokes replaced. The repair guy told me that he would have to rebuild the axle to replace the spokes. Like an idiot I believed him and paid $ 50 for the unneeded service. Also at the same time I had the chain replaced. The tech told me that I needed the cassette replaced at the same time and then said he could not return my bike to me without a new cassette as it wouldn’t shift right. Not wanting to argue, I paid for it. Took my bike home and had a buddy put the old cassette back on the wheel. It still works fine. When I bought each bike I was told their standard line about the free tune-ups. They just don’t tell you that it’s a 2 – 3 week turnaround. I’m mechanically inclined and have done my own tune-ups so as to not lose the use of my bike. The final slap in the face though came with their free fix a flat service. Each time they told me about this service I actually told the guy that it was a bs offer since most flats happen in the middle of nowhere and you fix it where you are. Last week my front tire had a slow leak during my bike ride. I was able to pump air into it and get it to Cal Coast. They then informed me that there was a $ 2.00 fee for their free fix a flat. What part of free did I not understand? After spending as much as I have with them, I was completely insulted that they would not live up to their promises.

The worst service you’ll ever experience in this lifetime or the next. Hate them with the passion of 1000 burning suns. Everyone who works there is too good to help out and when you do get their attention they blow you off for a bigger sale. Do yourself a favor and head to literally any other bike shop with at least a semblance of customer service.
