The only decent place in Mission beach. Don’t go anywhere else. Best food. Best service.

Disgusting! My first time here and last. I ordered the most simple thing on the menu. Caesar salad was on of the most disgusting things I’ve ever had. Let’s just say it had more dressing than lettuce. Dressing wasn’t even good to begin with. I can make a better one at home. Anyways order at your own risk. Save yourself $ 10 for a disgusting dressing. Did I mention how disgusting it was?

My husband and I stayed at the Bahia hotel and when we got in the first night we were too tired to go out and get food so we ate at the hotel restaurant, even though the reviews were not great. We were actually pleasantly surprised by the food. We weren’t expecting much but the food was pretty good. The portions, however, were INCREDIBLY small. I ordered the portabello mushroom entrée and was given 3 strips of grilled portabello mushroom in 2 kinds of sauce. As an entrée. 2 strips of mushroom. Priced as an entrée. Right. So that was very disappointing. Because of this we didn’t try the breakfast buffet.

Had the best time at the Tangier Bar. Our bartender, Lisa, was so much fun and gave the place a cozy and inviting environment. I will definitely be back.

Excellent service and great food! We ate here twice in one day. Staying on the bayside in a condo and thought we would try it out for lunch yesterday and we had the sweetest waitress. We sat on the patio with my two children and she never once forgot about us. She got my daughters order in quickly so she could eat, 3 year olds can be impatient. I had the blt-t with a cup of soup of the day, lasagna soup, it was fantastic! We forgot to make reservations anywhere that evening so we thought we would try it again. Once again, the staff was extremely attentive and kind. A party of 5 and everyone was satisfied with their meal, and the dessert was delicious. I would recommend this place to families and vacationers alike. I would return.

It’s expensive, but you are at a resort in beautiful sunny san Diego. Wtf do expect, the beach towels are 30 bucks. Suck it up, quite being a cheapskate and enjoy the great service, lovely Oceanside view, fantastic bourbons, great scotch selection, and Amazing craft beer choices. Sometimes, I hate these stuck up help 1 star reviewers. You people are so stuck up and full of yourselves, please stop Unilocaling. Cheers!

Service is terrible! There were 5 of us eating and it took us two hours for dinner because we had to wait 40 min for food. They said they were going to take off some drinks due to the wait, but they were still on the tab. Then the bill took another 20 min after we told her we needed to catch a boat. Super disappointed as we really enjoyed the hotel itself

4 stars for convenience of location(staying at the hotel) 4 for service, 1 for food. My husband ordered the fish of the day– fish just eh but the risotto and beans were very tasty. I ordered the sesame crusted salmon. Fish was inedible– very very fishy smelling and tasting and not worth the risk of getting sick. Not only was the actual fish bad the sesame crust was much too thick and I love sesame seeds. The sauce was also bad. The brown rice was good and the veggies(steamed, not stir fried as listed) were fine. Server was very accommodating and offered to bring another entrée but I didn’t really want one so he just adjusted the bill. iced tea was good. The spring roll appetizer was weird. Southwestern chicken-corn-pepper kind of a thing served burning hot and quite oily. We did love walking to the restaurant and the patio was great. Maybe it would be better for lunch or breakfast.

I don’t usually write Unilocal reviews, but I just HAD to for this place. I’m not giving it 5 stars because of the food, but because of the service! The staff was so unbelievably friendly! My sister and I went to breakfast and ate at the breakfast buffet(delicious mini waffles!), our server John was spectacular. He was absolutely hilarious, and introduced us to the never person we adored Kelsey! Kelsey was the hostess, and was sweeter than sweet. They made the entire vacation better just by eating breakfast there. They were so funny, friendly, and attentive. Would go back JUST to see them again, I miss them and adore them! Couldn’t have asked for any better service!

We are guest here at the Bahia, although the resort is beatifuI the restaurant is not very taste and very over priced. We ordered some food from here last night and it was really bland and the kids fries were cold. I think you would be much better off eating else where.

I had the tacos and pasta. The waitress was very accommodating since we were in a hurry and made sure to get our food and bill so we could catch the boat cruise. The food was good, but the boat was ok as it only went over to their other sister restaurant and back.

Food is really good and better than we expected. Prices are reasonable especially since we were staying at the Bahia and it was right on site. If you are a food snob this place probably wont excite you but for us average folks its great!

Slow service. Flavorless pancakes!(How is that possible?) breakfast wrap was poor, the«chorizo» tasted like dog food. Other tables around us had even worse service(took them 15 minutes to get coffee) we should have listened to the other reviews, DONOTGOHERE.

This is an on-premise restaurant as part of the Bahia resort. The food was average with reasonable prices. For dinner they have a buffet that’s rather small compare to what I’m used to in Las Vegas so don’t expect much depending on where you came from. The view is of Mission Bay. It can get pretty roudy in here so forget about talking. However this restaurant provides a convenient place for a quick dinner.

My family and I stayed at the Hotel and decided to dine at the restaurant for their buffet dinner. They were having Mediterranean style food that night created by their Chef Fouad. The food was excellent! Everything was so interesting, full of flavor, and unique. The Chef came out and told us about his recipes. He seemed to be very proud of his delectable creations and he should be for he did a wonderful job! Would eat there again for sure!

I was a little nervous after checking Unilocal, but the convenience of visiting Café Bahia as far as time and location at the moment overrode that, so we visited. Yes, it was a little more expensive, but we enjoyed our food and had good service. We were seated promptly, and the patio is very nice, with lush greenery and a fountain that attracted a hummingbird nearby. My husband enjoyed The Bahia burger, which had a nice combination of toppings and came with a choice of french fries or salad. He went with the fries and was quite satisfied. I need to eat gluten free, and while they don’t have an official menu, the manager was happy to review the usual menu to show what could be made(or already was) gluten free. I opted for the Apple Cider Braised Pork Tacos on corn tortillas, which were topped with avocado, jalapeño aioli, and jicama-green apple salsa. The blend of apple and pork is, of course, classic, and the twist on these tacos was delightful. The tortillas were nicely heated and loaded up with all the good stuff. The one thing that was a little much was the number of times we were asked if we wanted more water. I appreciate attentiveness, but we were asked about a dozen times in about 45 minutes. Overall, however, a very nice visit.

Café Bahia Visited various times during our stay at the Bahia Resort June 17 – 202014; for breakfast, lunch, or dinner All the food was good and the service staff pleasant and attentive; there is an adjoining Tangier Bar which you can order specialty drinks or other food items from this facility. This was a excellent location onsite of the hotel to try some new foods and relax — well worth the time.

2 stars is just about right. You’re paying a few bucks more just to eat at the hotel so it’s not a good value.

Stopped in for a nightcap. Sarah took excellent care of us. I had the Kentucky mule. Delicious. Brian had the strawberry basil margarita. Also delicious. Safe to say we are having a great time here at Bahia. We will definitely be back! Thank you.

Brazilian? I think not. Beautiful property! Great wedding. Best sliders I’ve ever had… And I’ve had many. I forgot what kind of cheese it was that was so good and the arugula was a nice touch. It should come with fries though! Also had dinner here. Salmon was awesome, raspberry sorbet bomb is incredible! There was also a very cute acoustic guitar player/singer… Might come back just for him ;)

We had dinner, the kids ate toast and the adults had chicken and steak sandwich, it was pretty much ok, we all kinda were pleased. The only thing is the pricing which has been a little bit expensive. The service was good.

I’m not over the top about this joint, but it was decent. We had breakfast and everyone seemed to think their meals were good and fine and nothing to write home about. I thought the pricing was a little expensive for breakfast as there were hardly any options under $ 8 and the buffet was a spicy $ 15! We only ate there once because there are considerably cheaper and better fare down the road just a 5 minute walk. I will say, they were totally amazing about getting us a table relatively quick, but that all depends on when people finish and get up, so it doesn’t have much to do with their skills. Fine. decent. expensive.
