Cool spot in the middle of the business center. Would be a great place to grab lunch and soak in the sun. The person who took my order was very personable(wish I can give you an extra star for complimenting the hint of vanilla in my perfume). I ordered the Oriental Chicken salad minus the chicken. It was delish… fresh ingredients. Wish they added more almonds and some sesame seeds for added zing. Will definitely come back to try their sandwiches.

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now, I love their sandwiches, soups, & salads. They’re awesome. I’ve also tried their breakfast burrito which is a little price and average. I recommend any of their soups & specialty sandwiches including the ruben. The greek salad’s are great too.

Let’s keep this place on the down low, mkay? There are tons of other lunch places in the area for people who don’t know about this one, and I don’t need my favorite place for wraps getting clogged up with the Kearny Mesa work lunch rush. This deli is one of those little lunch spots tucked away in a business park. I only found it because I noticed their teeny little staked sign along Aero Drive one day. Super friendly guy named Sammy runs the place; he’ll remember your name if you come back more than once. He’ll probably even remember what you ordered last time. I listen to him chat it up with the customers in line in front of me, making each one feel like he’s glad they are there. Then, there’s the wraps. Stay away from this place on Wednesdays, because that is the only day they serve their buffalo chicken wrap. Sometimes they sell out, and I’ll kill ya if you take the last one before I get there. I really like that I can get a decent lunch for under $ 10 in the area, that isn’t fast food. Oh! And they have great breakfast sandwiches and breakfast burritos, too. Both are very inexpensive.

Great customer service. I ordered the grilled cheese on sourdough and a cup of the chicken vegetable soup. Everything was fantastic. All for under $ 8.

Cannot wait to come back here! Can’t believe it took me this long to discover this place so close to my house. It’s an outdoor food stand in the middle of a set of industrial buildings.(Doesn’t sound super glamorous, I know) but it’s a great stop for a morning coffee or specialty coffee drink and breakfast sandwich. I got a breakfast sandwich croissant and they let me sub avocado for the meat, which was very helpful to me. Service was fast and polite

Had a craving for a sandwich and looked up sandwich shops close to my work address. Only a block away and I will be making that walk a LOT! Food was fresh and delicious. Only problem was it made my craving worse! Had the roast beef on squaw bread and added avocado and sprouts. Bread was fresh and soft and the roast beef tasted like it was just cut fresh. Love the fact that they have a good selection of chips and not just the standard selection. Took off one star for price. Decent price($ 8 for sandwich & specialty chips) but wish they wouldn’t charge extra for sprouts. All in all it was a great meal, service was friendly and fast. Will definitely be back… soon and often!

This is a great place to get some food, tucked away in the office buildings here on Aero drive. They have really delicious sandwiches, my favorite being the super delicious… and as the name would suggest it’s **drum roll** super delicious: roast beef and turkey with provolone cheese, sourdough bread, with the standard fixings of lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard. Add some sprouts and you’re really going towards sandwich perfection. The ladies who work here are super nice and my sandwiches are always made perfectly. Stop by and grab a bite to eat! If you get there in the morning, their breakfast burritto with salsa and eggs is delicious, too!

The BEST tuna sandwiches I have found! Soft, fresh brown bread, lots of avacado, tomatos and sprouts, all fresh. The prices are very reasonable and 1 sandwhich could easily feed 2(altho I ate the entire thing myself). I had almost no wait, altho it was early for the office lunch crowd. I go extra early to my Drs appts just to eat there. Clean and quiet. The only seating is outside, but the breeze is nice. The staff(of 2 – 3) are pleasant and helpful if you have a question. Have eaten there twice and plan to again!

I just wanted tortilla bread today. I thought they were just going to grab me a slice, but they went the extra mile & made it nice & warm Only outdoor seating here on park benches. This is an outdoor café. A step above a food cart.

Ok, so I’m kinda confused on what to write about this place… First off, this is located in an office complex so is obviously frequented by the tenants there so I’m reviewing this place as an outsider. Location wise, it was fairly convenient for me since I work in the Kearny Mesa area. I went there because I was craving soup so when I got there, they had either chicken vegetable or chili for $ 3.49 as their options. I ended up going with the chicken vegetable because that’s what I was craving. Knowing I wouldn’t be full off of just the soup, I decided to also order a ½ sandwich(the Super Club) for $ 3.99. Total came out to $ 6.99. Ok, decent price, not too bad, right? Wrong. My chicken vegetable soup was a tiny 12 oz container with pieces of chicken and carrots. I wouldn’t actually call that a chicken«vegetable» soup so I was extremely disappointed because this cost me $ 3.49 and with times being hard, I expected more than just water and chicken. I mean, come on, I can get fresh made soup from the grocery deli for much cheaper: P As for the sandwich, it was just a sandwich that you would make at home yourself had you taken the time to make one so to be charged $ 3.99 didn’t sit too well with me either, especially for half a sandwich. When I sat down to finally eat my meal, I was surprised at how good everything actually was, even my watery chicken«vegetable» soup. Overall, I would give the food 4 stars because it really was good due to the freshness but will give the place 2 stars since I felt they were overpriced for what they were.

I pass by this place on my way to work every morning. We have a deli in our office complex, but sometimes you just need something different. So I decided to swing by here this morning for a little breakfast treat. Not really sure what to expect, I kind liked what I found. It’s a walk up counter with seating available in the courtyard. I ordered the breakfast burrito and a coffee. I really wanted a latte, and it wasn’t until after I ordered when I picked up a paper menu to take with me, that I realized they do have lattes. There was nothing on their menu board that stated such. But that’s okay. My breakfast burrito wasn’t taco shop worthy, but it was definitely delicious. It could have used one more egg maybe, but overall I really enjoyed it. The coffee was good too. She had 3 types to choose from, which I think is important. I mean, variety is the spice of life, isn’t it? The coffee wasn’t weak by any means, and I like to taste coffee. But it also wasn’t too strong, which it most certainly can be. I opted for the vanilla nut. Yum! I’m excited to check this place out for lunch and when I do, I will be sure to let you all know. If you’re in the area and need a quick bite that is NOT a burger and fries, check out Café Aero.

Overpriced, very plain food. Only reason I would consider eating here again is if I did not have time to go anywhere else. And even then I would consider just not eating. By far, one of the worst breakfast burritos I have ever eaten. It is like they dropped an entire package of pepper into the egg mix, had this issue on more than one occasion. Now I have learned just to never go back.

I work in an office complex that has this little café as part of it’s business family and I am so stoked because besides being a decent little café, the folks that run it are pretty friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Betty is the young lady you will find most days at the register, sometimes very nice, sometimes just okay but always polite and fast. The menu has a nice little assortment of breakfast doo dads, sandwiches, burritos etc and all fairly priced. The breakfast burrito with your choice of meat, potatoes and eggs is big and heavy and will easily carry you through to the evening. Every day there is a different lunch special which will include a salad, bag of chips and a drink for under $ 7. The food is always fresh, tasty, and of decent portions. Try the Chinese chicken salad wrap and you will be very happy. Also, they have a killer BLT to which they add a thin layer of cream cheese(which on second thought will kill you if you eat it too much I suppose.) They make a home chicken soup that is absolutely delish and my coworkers tell me that their other soups are just as good. They also have fountain sodas, the usual assortment of breads and cookies on the counters and an espresso machine but you want to skip that if you’re picky about your coffees. We have tried several different businesses in the area, exploring by foot and by car but we always come back to the café. I would rather give my money to a local business who appreciates my coworkers and I as opposed to some chain or even larger business that could care less if you come back or not. There is a nice patio on the side of the café and on a beautiful sunny, San Diego day, it’s a good place to eat and people watch… and it won’t kill your wallet!
