Love this store they have amazing gifts. I have purchased a few items here and continue to go back to see what new things they have! Also every Tuesday Jeff holds a meditation group and speaks about buddism. Whenever I leave I am feeling rejuvenated and at peace. He helps you understand the faith and how to interpret it into your daily life. Wonderful people!

The sweetest place ever. Jeff is awesome at opening the hearts and minds of all people, especially new comers. It is a warm place with very beautiful ppl and I always leave feeling completely at peace, which is the goal for many. I recommend that everyone check it out. There are beautiful Buddha statues at work but meditation is by far the best art piece ever.

Jeff and Maggie are amazing! Maggie always shares her insight in stones and healing and I love all of their Thai charms and their selection of items. I go in at least every two weeks and have picked up some amazing pieces for friends, as gifts, family and myself ;)

I visit San Diego frequently and I make it a point to always stop by Buddha for You. I’ve bought online as well and had my items shipped home to Ohio. Incredible variety of items at all price points. It’s fun just to look around but usually buy something. Jeff and Maggie are wonderful people. You must check the place out! Parking is easy and free too!

Love this place! Right next to the tanning salon I go to! They always have incents and essential oils for 50% off! They always provide the best customer service! Have multiple tapestries from there as well! Great prices, great service!!!

I have only been here one time (SO FAR) but I had a great experience. I purchased incense which was 50% off at the time, and though they don’t have a whole wall of incense like some places, their selection was diverse and I found just what I had come for. They also have great gifts (jewelry, little statues, handmade boxes, purses) for very good prices.
The guy working was also very friendly and told me about the free meditation classes they offer on Tuesdays and Saturdays. I am definitely thinking about going and will update my review if I do.
Stoked I live 2 blocks away from this place.

I bought a Lakshmi statuette and some Tibetan prayer flags here. I also got a book on Hindu Gods/​Goddesses. The staff here were very nice and informative. They have free meditation classes in the back. I should probably look into that.

Really amazing collection of Buddha statues from all over the world. Fantastic collection of jewelry, incense, and singing bowls. Super nice and helpful people there too.

I love this place and the people that work here!!! They’re so nice, welcoming and informative. They have great pieces from all over the world. I came in here to get some stuff to start a meditation area and ended up getting some great things and they also have some great books on meditation, religion and just living a peaceful life. I also got to take a look at the meditation area where they host meditation sessions on Tues and Sat. I love this place. Go here for all your meditation needs.

Coming here is such a treat for me. It is not the atmosphere, I mean it is part of it, but the PEOPLE HERE MAKE ME FEEL GREAT!
Walter has been here for a while. Heck, this review is being written after my first time back there in over a year. I walked in and Walter recognized me! Asked me how I was doing, what I had been up to, and what I was looking for today. Sometime ago, I had attended meditation classes there.
Ask them about the classes! They are really well done and plenty of time to ask questions! Even if you are not a Buddhist, they can make the material and the beliefs relatable and understandable.
Go check them out and be sure to check in there on Unilocal too. I checked in while leaving and saw that I got a 10% discount on sime gifts I had purchased for friends. So be sure to do that while you are there.

This spot is really nice took my mom here and she found a painting she wanted that was only $ 27. She went around and found a few other things that were pricy but as I travel the world I know these items are worth the price plus getting them here I understand why they are priced they way they do. The couple working the store was real nice and friendly took us around the store and pointed at items and was willing to let me put more stuff on lay away if I wanted it. Coming back her for my mothers day gift for sure. Nice local shop show some love people.

I really enjoy the serenity this place not only promotes but embodies with the inclusion of a Dharma Bum temple in the back room. There are free weekly meditations.
The incense, candles, Tibetan bowls, and other Buddhist inspired (or maybe it’s the other way around) knicknacks seem to be high quality and affordable. I purchased two essential oils (coconut and «relaxation») for $ 8. Coconut seems to have a vanilla undertone and gave my house a nice hint of beachy balminess.
The employee encouraged me to test the bowls and experiment which tone I found most soothing. She then walked away leaving me unattended with the mortar and pestle. Brave. As the resident bull in the china shop, I’d like to congratulate myself on not being a weapon of mass destruction. I’d like to congratulate the employee more, for empowering me around caution: fragile objects. Wow. Is this what Buddha Is For Me, Too? It’s always nice when a store is more experiential and open to customer experience than protecting the dust that sits on the merchandise with the «YOU TOUCH YOU BUY!» signs.
They use a Square for credit card purchases, which I love because I hate reciepts but enjoy having an electronic copy directly in my email. Unrelated to Buddha For You Two, every merchant should use a Square. Back to Buddha For You Two, a nice strip-​center oasis in the College area. Stop in!

Awesome place for Buddhist, spiritual, and meditation items. Not many places like this. Quality and unique items. The staff is SO friendly. Amazing customer service. Prices aren’t bad either. A must see!!!

This store is awesome. The proprietor is very nice and helpful. I saw a class/​discussion going on about inner peace and it looks like they have other opportunities for learning as well. I will be back for more…

I used to go here quite often when I still lived in the Rolando area. Unfortunately, I’ve moved and I don’t really have time go here, anymore.
What I liked about this store was that the overall feel of the place was peaceful and welcoming. I’m not a hardcore Buddhist (I’m still trying to figure out which «religion» hits the spot for me), but I have a penchant for certain Buddhist philosophies and got into their meditation practice earlier this year. The place has a lot of Buddhist statues, statuettes, and figurines, and there is a plethora of incense in many scents and flavors. The owner is very calm and friendly and he has an adorable dog who is just as sweet and gentle (and this is coming from someone who isn’t that much of a dog person).
Definitely come here if you want to get your spiritual Zen mode on.

Everyone has their own opinions on spirituality, and in the world of Buddhism, that’s even more evident with the different schools and philosophies that you can learn about.
What I like the most about the meditation at Buddha for You is that there is no pressure to have some kind of religious/​philosophical revelation and suddenly devote your whole life to Buddhism. What there is, is a warm and welcoming feeling and an introduction to what Meditation is, how it relates to Buddhism, and how that all relates to you and why you happen to be there at 7pm on a Tuesday night. Jeff has been nothing but patient and kind in his willingness to educate those of us who come on Tuesday and as someone who’s trying to figure out her own path in life, I appreciate this.
The store itself is beautiful, although not having seen the old store, I’m not sure how they compare. I will say that there is a HUGE selection of Buddha’s which is cool and there is plenty of other stuff as well for the avid Buddha loving enthusiast.
I’d say check it out and maybe even join a meditation class, but then it might get too crowded! But it is a pretty cool place…
