The old grey haired dude in there is kinda a dick. Wanted to make a purchase & get cash back. He asked me «how much cash back» i told him $ 40 & he pointed at their ATM & said «use that». Poor customer service.

NINO! He is always so welcoming to my roommates and I. We have been regulars at this liquor store for about three years. His store is convenient and the staff always treats you more like friends than just a regular customer! He will special order alcohol if he doesn’t have it. We tend to walk over on Saturdays so he will chill our vodka (per our request) so it’s ready to drink! (I swear we aren’t alcoholics). And not to mention his prices are great and he always informs me of special prices! Definitely recommend your friends and family to stop by if you live in the area :) their customer service is 5 stars for sure!

Boulevard Wine & Spirits –I just discovered this amazing liquor store in The City Heights area on the corner of El Cajon and Copeland Avenue. Fantastic selection of beer from around the world and wonderful wine selection. If you are a true foodie you can shop here for liquor specifically for your menu, the staff is extremely helpful. Very nice selection of fine vodkas and gin if you are a martini fan as well. Tracy Wessel

I moved to Northpark in August and began my daily trek to Boulevard for a pack of smokes. You know, it’s a nice little liquor shop, and has a few grocery items, nice to have when you run out of eggs or milk, and the prices are great.
Also, and here’s the thing, the guys that run it are really great! Sweet people, always cheerful and no matter how your day was, you leave smiling after a warm «Hi sweetie», and such. I wish I knew the main guy’s name there, cuz he is wonderful. He speaks English, Spanish, and humor. He’s just funny! (Handsome too, but he’s married ladies :)
Went in with my daughter once, and she was having surgery, you know he still asks how she’s doing! I don’t know if it’s the coldest beer in town, but these folks deserve as much business as you can toss their way :)

The owner and the guys that work here rock there always very nice they even have check cashing here. Don’t go to 7 – 11 go here. The beer is so much colder here

Clean and convenient (for now). Friendly guy behind the counter who actually looks away from the tv when he’s serving you. I gave four stars only because it’s not like I’m going to recommend Boulevard Liquor to someone who’s looking to buy a sixer of Bud. «Man, you gotta go to my guy! He’s the best!»
Anyway, if you’re looking for lottery tickets or a bag of pork rinds, this is where you gotta go. He’s the best…

This place is great. I lived in North Park a few years ago before I moved to UC. The people there knew me by name and always treated me well. I recently moved back to the area, and to my surprise these cats remembered my name and we shared a good laugh.
Good variety of drinks (beer & wine). Pricing is good, which is really whats important at a liquor store. Amirite?!!
The prices on top of the friendly people make this one of my favorite places to pick up booze. Oh and they have other stuff too, but I never
notice :)

Practically next door to Live Wire. Awesome. They have the usual suspects when it comes to a neighborhood liquor store, including those little shot bottles that range from 99 cents for Popov vodka to maybe $ 2.49 for premium brands.
One night when I was at Live Wire, I ran low on cash so I came here and bought a shot of whiskey for under $ 2 to maintain my buzz.
Ghetto. I know. I just didnt want to borrow money from anybody and I couldnt find my atm card.
I also had the munchies and this place has a pretty rockin junk food selection so I scored some potato chips and ate them outside in the rain with my baby bottle of Jack.
Cool clerk, the guy actually cracked some jokes with me about what I was doing.
