BodyLogicMD of San Diego

Just had my appointment with Doctor Center a few hours ago. I have been a patient of his for the past 4 years. During that time I have been able to make appointments easily. I never had a problem contacting the Dr. or anyone on his staff, all of whom are very pleasant and cheerful. The testing and the procedures that I have to undergo are done regularly, approximately 3 times a year. I have never had a bad experience with any aspect of this practice. I strongly endorse Doctor Stephen A. Center.

I understand how some people might get frustrated with the process; testing in general is expensive and insurance hates to pay for these treatments (which is a problem with insurance, not Dr. Center). I do know that Bodylogic tries very hard to get insurance to pay for as much as possible and they do their best to make a time consuming testing process as organized and efficient as possible. That said getting the testing done does take a significant time and financial investment.
I’ve been very happy with my results and appreciate Dr. Centers efforts and good humor. When I began treatment with Bodylogic I was in really bad shape. Today all aspects are health have improved and I’m very grateful and proud to be a patient of Dr. Center.

I really hope people read the reviews before going to this place. $ 450 for the «Dr» to read your test results. They don’t tell you how much they are going to charge you until after you talk to the dr. What was even more sketchy was how interested he was in where I lived and what I did for work. This place does nothing to help
You, just wants all you money! Please don’t waste your money on these people

I just read all the above Unilocal & I am currently experiencing the same things.
1) Un-​professional
2) always another test ($$)
3) always trying to sell me another vitamin to add to the 5 I’m already taking as I told him I hate taking pills!
4) try to sell me the detox cleanse on the last 2-​visits.
5) wife tells you your insurance will cover test & 6 mths later you find out not covered.(yet another charge)
6) tells his wife /​receptionist to charge me more because we went over the 15min & she says well does the patient know this? as I’m standing right there. I wanted to say, we went over because he was on the ph with you: wife & showing me excersise that he does. I regret not saying something right then & there!
7) Also was trying to sell me on their in house diet/​nutritionist, but I said I have that under control on my own. (first visit)
All in all I didn’t have a good feeling from day –1 and should of canceled right away but again I didn’t want to loose my $ 175!
Now that I read Unilocal reviews I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!!!

I terminated my patient relationship with Dr. Center due to his rude receptionist.
I have never been spoken to so rudely by anyone. I would think that Carol would learn professional manners and how to speak to patients and clients professionally.
The services is all cash pay, treat your patients with respect.

If I could give less than 1-​Star, I would. This office is ALL ABOUT YOUR MONEY and that would have been OK, if they were good, but they’re NOT. My experience started out negative and got worse. The 1^st minute I walked in, Dr. Center was yelling at his staff about the air conditioning not working in his office. He saw me, but didn’t stop yelling at them! I was uncomfortable, but stayed. After spending a lot of money (over $ 1,500) Dr. Center placed me on supplements and a detox program that made me so sick and so seriously dizzy (never felt dizzy in my life) that I stopped all supplements and should have quit him then, but didn’t because I wanted HRT. So, after many tests (blood & saliva) he placed me on two gel/​creams. His money craving office wanted me to spend hundreds more — on more tests — and when I wanted to delay the tests for MORE TIME on the HRT, they cancelled me as one of his patients. What kind of doctor starts his patient on hormone replacement treatment, then cancels the patient because I wanted to delay the tests? A bad one! I was only on HRT for 2 months and felt no different — so I wanted 2 more months before I spent hundreds more. Well, now I have a great HRT Doctor — who ran similar tests for FAR LESS money — and told me I’ve been on inadequate hormones! My prescription has now changed and I’m finally happy. Just thought you all should know.

I found that my experience was not good… very very pushy and aggressive to spend your money on all their vitamins and blah blah. I ended up never going back and was taken for about 2500.00 with really no results… tried complaining to Suzanne sommers but that was useless as they do NOT respond to messages emails etc… just my opinion
