Waited by the bar 20 minutes to get a beer. Bartender seen me and just kept helping the folks all around me. Not sure why I was getting skipped. After I was fed up… I was like wtf I been here forever trying to get served. Finally the guy snatches my money and says what do I want. I asked him if they had a beer I wanted and he said no and three my money back at me. I will never come back to this piece of shit bar again. Also, they advertise pool tables on Unilocal, but the 2 tables were covered so nobody could even play. Lame. Will never return and I don’t recommend anyone goes.

I’ve loved this bar for years now. Great music and good people. Also most days you can get some pool games going.

Fun bar in North Park! I came here on a Friday night around 930p & it was starting to get busy. Free entrance. Bartenders are friendly & generous with the alcohol! I enjoyed my Moscow Mule for $ 8.50, & after 3, I was feeling great. 2 pool tables, DJ in the back area with extra seating, & heated outdoor seating.

Best locals dive bar two years running according to this guy. Friendly vibe, great music on weekends, cheap drinks, definitely one of the best locals bars around. To put icing on the cake they have two well maintained pool tables and STRAIGHT cues! What is it with bars having cues crooked as politicians these days? Pros: Cheap drinks Pool Good DJ’s Old man Jim Cons: Parking(since underbelly went in) Can be noisy at times Old man Jim

Came in for a drink after hitting up Little Italy’s Tree Lighting & Italian Night Market. Made it just before happy hour was over & scored 2 Long Island’s for less than 20 bucks! There are a few flat screens scattered throughout the establishment, two pool tables, plenty of seats around the bar, a long patio out front, & quite a few booths around the dance floor area. Good place to grab a drink & hang out.

This is the worst bar in San Diego !!! The bouncer and managers seen me an my friend talking to a person who just got kicked out of the bar before we even made it inside me an my friend were not allowed inside. My buddy and I did not do anything to deserve to get kicked out of the bar. I was meeting other people here for my birthday. The bouncer said we could not come in because we were with that guy that got kicked out. Me and my friend were labeled as trouble makers because of some strangers actions. We ended up spending like a grand at the Tavern down the street. This bar is the worst bar in San Diego the customer service sucks ass and I seen brown roaches on their glasses. Fuck this bar stay away don’t go here!

This place is pretty chill. good dance area, cheap drinks. However what’s up with the shitty, bitter, moody guy thats a bartender? I believe his name is David. He looks like Jordan Peele. This dude needs to quite his nite job, you can tell he hates his job with a PASSION! he can not keep up with high volume of patrons and gets overwhelmed with people trying to get a fucking Cocktail! he is worthless at what he does. He cussed some chick out. If you’re reading this David, get your life together and stop pushing cocktails for a living. hahahaha other then that come check this place out.

We won’t be returning till they get new bartenders! We went on a Saturday, like we have MANY times. It gets really packed and you have to wait a while for a drink. This time we waited 30 minutes for drinks and the bartender(the one that looks like Jordan Peele from ‘Key and Peele’) was VERY rude! He’s usually grumpy and you can tell he hates his job but after waiting 30 minutes this was the last straw! The music and crowd is great but the bartender just kills it. I definitely agree with other reviewers that there are better places in NP… We will definitely be taking our money elsewhere.

I love coming to Bluefoot on their Rewind nights(throwbacks, party anthems, hip hop), but they do have other nights with good music. You just gotta check their events calendar. There’s no cover, never a line, drinks are decently priced and you can get around the club no problem even on the dance floor. I’ve had my birthday there and I just called them up to let them know I’d be having a party there and they reserved a booth for me, at no charge. They are all about having a good time and I always have a good time there.

Came here either in the evening or Saturday morning when big Arsenal game is on. In the evening, things can get a bit packed in the front room, but the back room almost always less packed even tho there is music and dance floor. Cheap beers and pretty quick service at the bar. But for drinking experience and vibe, there are better bars out there in North Park. I do, however, love coming here during Arsenal’s game! They open pretty early(an hour before the game starts or something for people to pre-game. No cover to come in, and the Arsenal crowd here is so awesome and highly-spirited with their made-up chants throughout the game. I thoroughly enjoy my Arsenal viewing experience here. I just wish they can upgrade all their TV’s to a slightly bigger one for a better visual, but that’s just me being overly-critical. Conclusion: Best Arsenal bar, but an average local North Park bar

This place is great for early morning Arsenal games. Dirk is one of the nicest bartenders you’ll ever meet. He will inconvenience himself in order to make you happy. Once midday comes, the crowd becomes quite odd to say the least. If you’re gainfully employed individual that likes being around like minded intelligent people, I probably wouldn’t suggest coming here. At night.awful. UNLESS you’re a hair stylist, «industry» person, or unemployed. «Night» is in «nightmare» for a reason. The DJ is crap and though is to be playing at the crowd and«accepts requests», he doesn’t play any. Dirk should get a raise. The DJ shouldn’t DJ. And again, unless you belong in one of those categories I mentioned, probably ill advised to come here past 10−11am during Premier League season

Cheap drinks and good music is all I really look for in a bar. I don’t need fancy craft cocktails or bougie décor. This place is a great dive bar located at the other end of 30th St. in North Park. This place gets pretty packed on weekends and the crowd is very diverse. This place doesn’t attract too many ratchets so thats one of the reasons why I like this place. They play a good mix of music from hip hop to disco oldies. The main room has some pool tables and the bar. When it gets packed it’s kind of awkward to be by the bar as the people playing pool keep hitting you with the cues. The drinks here are cheap. They had Stone bottles for $ 4 when I last went and a crown and coke is a measly $ 6! Prices can’t get better than that. The back room has a lot of tables but it becomes a dance floor when it gets crowded enough. Overall a chill place for cheap drinks. It’s always on my list of bars to stop by when I’m in the area.

Decent drinks decent beer list. No top shelf scotch or bourbon to speak of. Stopped by with a few friends had a few drinks played some pool listened to decent music. Only two issues: 1. You can totally smell the smoke from all the smokers on the patio from inside the bar. We were playing pool and that was a bummer. That might even be illegal. 2. The big dopey bouncers. They try to tell you where to stand on a public sidewalk and are really rude about it. I get it. Your big and pushy and I’ve had a drink or two. The sidewalk is actually a public area though guys. Also if you could practice your manners and maybe pick up a book sometime you might come across better. It’s too bad that those bouncers are the last interaction with the business. Makes for a bad after taste. There are many better places on 30th to spend your money.

My friend is an Arsenal fan and wanted to go watch the game on a Tuesday(also St. Paddy’s Day). We weren’t sure if they were dog friendly, so we left the pups at home. We later wished we would’ve brought them, as there were other people with dogs inside. There are 2 separate rooms. When you enter, there are high top tables, a pool table, and a long bar with stools. On the back side is a large room with booths and tables. This is where we chose to sit for the game. There were a few tvs, so there wasn’t really a bad view. They seemed to have decent specials. Since it was St. Paddy’s Day, they offered a pint of green beer(PBR — yuck) and a shot of Jameson for $ 8. Pretty good! We had a few beers during the game — they have a great selection of local beers — from Fall, Alpine, Karl Strauss, etc. The bartender was friendly, but she was by herself and a bit overwhelmed. Also, they are really strict about checking everyone’s IDs and even had a doorman, even though it was Noon. They do not serve food, but have a selection of menus from nearby restaurants that will allow you to order. There is also a Jack in the Box right across the street. Overall, it was a fun time, even if Arsenal lost. As with any place in the area, parking can be hard to find. We were lucky to get a spot right in front, since we were there pretty early.

The good olé watering hole… Decent drinks, great local craft beer list. Depending on the day there is some sort of special or event going on so check the website before coming. No food available so when you get the munchies cruise over to Jack in the box, Underbelly that just opened up across the street or Tacos Perla. They have DJs during the weekend and usually get packed after 9pm. Come early if you even consider wanting to grab a booth.

The website says, «No cover, no dresscode, no nonsense.» Want to guess which one of those three is correct? The first one. It was warm last night and I live 15 minutes away by bike. I put on my *stylish* tanktop and biked on down to the bluefoot to shoot some pool. Door guy wouldn’t let me in. I had to bike back home, change shirts, bike back again. 45 minutes. I was not happy. I consider that *nonsense*. So there *is* a dress code and there *is* nonsense. So far no cover. I do love this bar. The bartenders are friendly and attentive. It is becoming rarer and rarer these days to find this. Reasonably priced. I’ve also met both owners who often hang out in there and they are both super nice guys. I’ve found that when the owners of a bar are nice people, the bartenders also tend to be nice people. When owners are jerks, bartenders are jerks. Funny how that works. Anyways, now they just need to either fix their website or let me walk around in my tanktops.

First time here, and for it being New Year’s Eve night. I can’t say it was bad, but nor did it standout in my book. Good music, and a cool crowd. It’s a good place to grab a drink, and chill the night away. They have 2 pool tables, a patio area, and a pretty good size dance floor. Only downfall I noticed was where the pool tables are placed, there isn’t enough room around tables to play comfortably without bumping into someone. The bathrooms don’t have enough stalls, and the woman’s bathroom had a line as the night went on. Happy new year folks!

Where can I start? Bluefoot always gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling. Walking in I feel like I’m stepping back in time onto the set of Cheers, where everybody knows your name. It’s the local hangout in the North Park area. I don’t think I’ve ever been in San Diego and not ended up at Bluefoot, I’m not complaining it’s always a great time. You run into everyone you know. Everyone that works there is awesome from the door to the bar. They are all so laid back, but attentive. They have an outdoor area for the smokers, there are two pool tables, the main bar area and then a dance area in the back everything you need for a successful outing!

1 star for the bartenders that are always cool 2 stars for the music 3 star for revamping the bar area NEGATIVE2 stars for the DB at the door. I hope BF reads reviews. I used to live down the street and this was my local dive. I loved the vibe, the people were cool, bartenders are quick and always nice, great DJ on the weekends and good place to catch a game! I decided to stop in this week because it has been too long and to my surprise, the door guy was a total jerk! When we were leaving, he was chatting with another person as he sat perched on that stool. On our way out, I overheard the bouncer and his little friend talking shit! I was not faded so I heard the comments they made. My boyfriend and I both turned around and had a few choice words for them… But really? We were not bothering anyone, we came in, had a nice chat with bartender ordered one beer, paid our tab, walked out to get into Lyft and we get an ear full of BS! No thanks Blue foot! Get rid of that guy!

This is long over due most certainly. The class and degree of respect at a bar that I saw here and during World Cup a few years ago is unmeasured. I loved how everyone from everywhere else, started cheering on the San Diego Chargers today, I also love how Dana when the Japanese Woman’s Team beat the US team(ladies soccer) stood up and told all of us that we should rejoice in the fact that Japan won,(this was right after the Tsunami and Fukishima)… again I say class. The staff at this place is the best and thank you to the owners for putting in tv’s in the back room, just in time for World Cup 2014. :) I love the Regulars here, my husband and I always feel more at home when they are here. Some of the best people I know, I met here.
