Bath & Body Works

This location has the usual overbearing customer service which some people like, but I don’t really care for. However, they seemed to let us shop instead of following us around like I’m accustomed to at B&BW. I realized I forgot my coupon and the salesperson said she had a 20% off coupon we could use. We took advantage of the 5 for $ 6 hand sanitizers. Overall, I actually like this store better than the others I’ve been to, but because Horton Plaza is my least favorite mall in San Diego, I’m not going to take a special trip over just for this store.

Great customer service all the time, you can walk in knowing someone cares about what you’re looking for

I had the most amazing customer service yesterday! Every single person gave an incredibly warm welcome and provided very helpful product suggestions. I wouldn’t be able to write this review if it weren’t for their great recommendations. I went in with sahara desert-​like feet and by the end of day they look and feel 20x better than they would post-​pedicure!

Sale or no sale, what keeps me coming back to a place is their customer service.
I was greeted as soon as I entered which is a factor on whether or not I take my business elsewhere. I think every sales girl there interacted with me letting me know about sakes and their recommendations on new fragrances.
I shop at this store often although my first time at this location since I’m not a local. Nice to walk out a place feeling better than when I came in.

Everyone is so nice here! They’ll make sure to greet you once you walk in. :) plus if you are looking for a gift, they do a great job of helping you out!

It’s been a while since I’d gone into a Bath and Body Works, but as the discount coupon I had was expiring, and I wanted to get something for my gal for Christmas (and for being patient while I was doing my jury service — she had so many questions to ask that I couldn’t answer), here I was.
One thing that hasn’t changed from the last time I went — there’s ALWAYS a sale going on. In this case, it was «buy 2, get 1 free,» and I took advantage of that to get a few items with Kathy’s favorite scent (White Citrus). Additionally, I got myself an air freshener for the car, and some hand sanitizer as well.
Friendly staff, pretty good deals = possible future visits to the chain!

I have to admit it, I like smelly things! And this place is ripe with aroma!
I like this store because each time that I have stopped in for a visit, it isn’t as crowded as other Bath & Body Works that I have been too. This past weekend in my shopping endeavors for Black Friday and the Black Friday shopping weekend, I ventured out to Horton Plaza. And was pleasantly surprised to have stopped here. This store was not busy the one at Fashion Valley and Mission Valley malls.
The staff is super friendly and helpful. When I asked about a particular product, the staff member immediately said that she would look in back to see if they had that scent in stock but just not on the sales floor. When I asked if they had a gift bag set that I did not see on the shelf, I was offered to have them call other stores to see if they had it in stock. You can’t beat service like this people! Some places that you shop at know that they can do this, but do not offer to go the extra mile to help you out.
It is service like this that would make me come back and visit this store (well that and my addiction to their great smelling products!) Looking forward to my next trip back to the store. Sorry it won’t be sooner since I ordered a few things online during Cyber Monday.

Always a sale…
I always buy their lotion (in the pink container) and their hand sanitizers.
My GF also likes their hand soaps and scented candles.

Another store with outstanding service in what I perceived to be a snotty area of town.
I asked annoying questions about some hand cream and was approached in a very genuine and helpful manner.
My concept of Southern hospitality is going out the window and being replaced by California love =(

Have to say I really liked this Bath & Bodyworks.
With almost any one of these you go to, the staff is friendly but they just seemed to be more outgoing here than other ones I’ve been to. They assisted us nicely in finding some specials we missed, helped us with the coupons we had from B&BW and in the end we came out with about $ 80 of merchandise for $ 35 after all the couponing was done.

I always get good service here… I know sometimes they can be «too» helpful but I think if you just let them know that you know what you are looking (if you do) then it’s all good.
The selection here for candles (which is mostly what I go to BBW for) is great and since the store is fairly big there are lots of other things… including more room for items that go clearance.
When the three wick candles got 2 for $ 20 that’s the time to go!

So I have to say that I have always loved this place but even more so now since I got my lotion set for Christmas! The White Cherry Blossom is now my fave lotion and it smells so good! I actually get compliments on the fragrance and my co-​workers all use it as well (more like they just go into my gym bag and take it!) I think that all of their selections for lotions are great but I really like this one in particular. I don’t know how I ever missed this scent?!
Also, my other fave items at this store are the massage oils… my two faves are: Eucalyptus Spearmint and Black Currant Vanilla. What girl doesn’t like a massage?! hahaha
I think that it is really important to take care of yourself and your skin and I think B& B Works has a great selection overall! You can always find a good deal there :-)
