Bare Brush Tan

Absolutely, without a doubt, as good as it gets. I’ve gotten many spray tans in my life, since I love looking golden without the horrible risks of laying out in the sun, but I’ve never been so IN LOVE with a spray tan in my life! Perrin is absolutely incredible, a true tanning genius! She is so sweet and makes you feel instantly at ease, and her work is impeccable. I go at least once a week on her monthly unlimited plan to ensure I always have a beautiful golden glow to my skin. The wonderful solution she uses is ORGANIC, which matters a lot to me; I avoid chemicals as much as possible. But the best part is of course how the tan looks. I’ve never gotten so many compliments in my life! I feel confident, beautiful, and glowing, from the outside in! I am a fitness instructor, so that means I sweat (a LOT) and shower daily, and yet the solution manages to stay put for a whole week. It looks 100% natural (no one can ever guess it’s a spray tan! no orange tint here!) and even wears off beautifully without weird patches. It even smells great! All of the prices are super affordable and reasonable, plus the cute little PB shop also sells beautiful jewelry and at-​home skin care. I’ve been telling all my friends about Bare Brush Tan — it’s absolute perfection!!!

Perrin does an amazing job and pays such attention to helping others look good. The shop is a beautiful and very chill space that’s easy to find and really comfortable to be in if you show up a little early or are waiting on your turn with a friend. She’s obviously infused a lot of herself and style into the space. The tans always look amazing, and she does a great job of giving tips on how to maintain the tan and keep it looking great. I’d never even considered getting a spray tan, the wife prodded me into trying Bare Brush until I did, and then I was hooked. 100% recommend to anyone who wants to look great in SoCal.

Perrin, the artist, is fantastic. I haven’t had a spray tan in a long time and love getting it done without the hassle of the machine.
She’s VERY attentive, funny, and welcoming. For those of you who may feel uncomfortable with the idea of dressing down and getting sprayed, she’s the best one for the job. I can’t rate more than 5 stars, but if I could I would.
I wanted to wait to post until after I take a shower and the color has finally set, but I already love the darkness of my tan already. It absolutely does NOT have any hints of orange.
I can’t wait to go back! I’m going to be hooked.

Perrin is soooo amazing. I scheduled my tan one day in advance and went in yesterday. She was super friendly and helpful from the second I made the appointment and through the whole process.
The shop is super cute going in and very clean. It’s a little turquoise building right across from Single Fin on Mission Blvd. It’s right on the beach, so going on a Sunday morning like I did may be an ideal option (parking on Sundays is a lot less limited than the rest of the week). Otherwise, you could park in the parking lot on Santa Clara and Mission Blvd (during the less busy beach hours would be easiest).
She keeps a heater on while she’s spraying you which I really liked, because nobody likes to be cold and naked while being sprayed down.
The tan didn’t have much of a smell, if anything it was a slight vanilla-​ey scent which was pretty pleasant. It was a bit sticky for about an hour like all spray tans are, but after the first hour I forgot it was even on and it didn’t have any texture.
I washed it off after about 12 hours before I went to bed and it was DARK (I asked her to make me as dark as I could be without looking orange). There is literally no hint of orange at all and I am totally pleasantly surprised.
This morning, the tan is super glowy and looks completely natural. Thanks Perrin!

Perrin is so sweet and efficient! I loved my natural looking tan for vacation! No streaks, no orange feet/​palms, just beautiful glowing tan! Highly recommend!

I’ve been getting spray tanned for years. I decided to try Bare out because I heard it looked great and I saw their advertising on Instagram. They offer a really good deal on your first tan… I ended buying a package of 5 from Perrin. BTW she is awesome! She explained in detail about the solution and how to stand and made me feel so comfortable right away. I dig her vibe and she’s super sweet… and is a great artist too ;)! They offer different levels of color you can choose from. I’m getting married in June and wanted to play around with the right color so when my wedding is here I have the exact color I LOVE. To me, looking natural was very important. I started with the lightest color and moved up the 2^nd time to darker. I LOVE IT! The solution smells great too not to chemically! I highly recommend Bare brush by far the BEST spray tan in SD!
