This place is an original beauty from the 1935 Expo in Balboa Park. It’s a little off the beaten track, so I don’t think that most visitors to America’s Finest City even know that it is here. Today, I attended a dance recital in the big ballroom in the back. I don’t believe that this was part of the 1935 building, but it works well, providing plenty of room for activities such as the event I attended. The cool stuff is in the front building, including one of two remaining large murals painted in 1935 and a central fountain from that same era.

The club was clean. I did not use the facility enough to review it any further.
