Live just down the street and their food is consistently good. Love the breakfast burrito.

LOVE that this place delivers at no extra cost (min order 15 bucks though). We love the rolled tacos and their California burritos but my favorite thing to order, by far is the Acai bowl. It’s what looks like a liter container filled with delicious Acai, blueberries, strawberries, bananas, granola and honey with your choice of soy or orange juice. It’s too big to eat in one sitting but never overindulging in a way that makes you feel weighed down. Their service is fast (we normally get our food in 45 mins or less but then again we pretend to be senior citizens and eat dinner at 430) and employees are always friendly. Can’t wait to get hungry again to order some more food!!! Keep up the great work guys!

You guyyyyys… Don’t tell anyone how awesome this place is! I am so lucky to live 1 block from this place! The only bummer is that they don’t sell beer, but the food is sooooooo amazing. The best Mexican food you can find pretty much anywhere. We’ve brought countless people here and they agree. I always get the crispy chicken tacos, which are AMAZING, and my bf gets the supreme burrito or the mini tacos, all of which are ridiculous. They make all their salsa fresh daily and give you all kinds of extra fresh condiments, spicy carrots, etc., and they also have a juice bar which is kind of random but their acai bowls are good too! Just go.

I stopped in for lunch at his place and ordered a regular size grilled fish taco made with Mahi Mahi and a grilled shrimp taco both on corn tortillas. I can’t remember each of their prices, but for both it came to $ 10 and some change which I felt was a little pricey.
The tacos were good, but each had room for improvement. For example, the grilled fish taco came with a decent amount of Mahi Mahi, but unfortunately it was over done which left the fish on the dry side and lost some of its flavor. The fish had that texture as if the fish was already cooked and then they reheated it on the hot griddle. I have encountered that before. Anyways, the rest of the ingredients on the taco were good. I liked the light crema they put on the taco.
The shrimp taco was better than the grilled fish taco. The shrimp were seasoned and cooked well, but they was just not enough shrimp in the taco to thoroughly enjoy it. With a couple of more pieces, it would of been just grand. Like the taco above, everything else in the taco was just fine. The corn tortillas on both tacos came warm and tasted good.
The people who work here are very nice, including the owner and especially the lady making the food. The salsa bar was very good and I liked that they offered chilled sliced radishes and grilled and seasoned yellow peppers.
No over cooking of the fish please…

The service here was awful. These people were generally rude and acted as if they would rather be anywhere else but at work. I was kind of surprised actually and appalled enough to seek out Unilocal and tell the rest of the world about my experience. Also, the food was marginal at best. I think it’s safe to say I will not be visiting again.

I splitted a large Tropical Breeze and it came out to be around $ 7. This is a little pricey for a smoothie but it was pretty good and tasted like they used fresh ingredients. Would come back if I was in the PB area but probably wouldn’t go out of my way to come back. They also have an attractive Mexican food menu as well.

Tried out the acai bowl and a smoothie while visiting San Diego!
Quick tips:
— decent amount of parking in front, shouldn’t be too hard to find a spot
— if you’ve never been here & are getting directions from Unilocal,the sign that says BAHIA is kinda tiny so look for the big sign that says Mexican food!
— great customer service, it’s family owned so thumbs up for that

Came here strictly for the acai bowl and smoothie — so this review is for that only. We got an acai bowl with apple juice, you have an option for either apple juice or soy milk, I liked the apple juice but I would definitely want to try the soy milk as well. The price is about $ 7 but it is definitely worth it! It is huge! Half of the bowl/​carton it comes with is the acai and the other half is filled with fresh fruit. It comes with a layer of granola, then bananas, then strawberries, then some acai berries then topped off with some honey. Everything is so fresh and delicious, they even show the fruits next to the cashier in the fridge. Next we also tried a smoothie, I forgot the exact name but it was something like a strawberry piña colada and I have to say it was probably one of the best smoothies I’ve ever had. It was so fresh and delicious, and it wasn’t too sweet either. Super yummy and I would definitely come back just for the juice bar!
The restaurant itself is just a casual Mexican restaurant. Has tons of seating and a salsa bar (always a plus). Customer service was excellent, they were all really nice and it’s a great family owned business. Wish we had time to try the Mexican food but for now the acai bowls and smoothies will have to do. I would definitely be a regular if it were closer !! :)

At first I was a little hesitant about buying Mexican food from a place that does smoothies and acai bowls, just thought that it was a strange combo. However, I’m glad I gave it a chance.
Their supreme burrito was large and delicious and even came with chips. Their green salsa has chunks of onion and avocado in it and its just the right amount of spiciness… So damn good! Had their California burrito and it was a little smaller than i expected but still good good quality, fries were fresh and a little crispy. Also had a fish taco which was bomb.
Haven’t tried anything from their juice bar yet but probably will in the future. Stop by!

This is the worst taco shop in PB. There was so much cabbage and sauce in my taco and my fish and octopus were bland. I will not be coming back. There are so many better places that I would rather go eat at.

Got their Acai bowl. It’s really good. Place was very clean and smelled really good made me want to cut my diet and get some Mexican food. They have burgers too. Staff seems friendly too.

The acai bowl is soo worth it! About $ 7 for a large cup with granola, bananas, blueberries, strawberries, and honey. They def don’t skimp on anything! They also let you choose if you want the acai bowl made with apple juice (sweeter) or soy milk.
The fruits are always fresh and the acai doesn’t get all soupy and melty, but maybe it’s because I eat it way too quickly… Anyways, super delicious and super worth it!
Absolutely recommend the acai bowl!

Drove 30 minutes during a school nite and after a tiring work day. Totally worth it! Tried the fish, calamari and octopus tacos.
The fish taco was well cooked– light and crispy. Tasty and refreshing.
The calamari taco was flavored well. The sauce they used was very flavorful and it kept me wanting more. The calamari could have been less chewy.
The octopus taco was my favorite! It was a well balanced taco! The octopus melted in my mouth. I didn’t have to fight with it. Totally worth trying.
Also had the chamango! If u like this drink in general– you must get theirs! It was smooth and creamy. It was salty, tangy, spicy and sweet. The flavor just bounces around your mouth. I didn’t get to take a picture cause that was the first one to go.

Until found this spot i thought that my days of eating california burritos was over. I was so sick of my regular hole in the wall places that i had given up on eating them completely. I live in north pb so i rarely venture south of grand until my friend took me here after a bike ride around the bay. The carne asada was so flavorful and the fries were perfectly crispy. The guacamole and rest of the filling tasted homemade and fresh like it has been made just a few minutes ago. This is my new favorite burrito spot.

Yummy authentic Mexican restaurant in San Diego… Always want to comeback here! Woof I’m full now !!! #burp

My first time in San Diego was last week and I fell in love with the city. San Diego is known for its stellar Mexican food and this place surely lives up to that standard!
The place is quite small but has enough seating for a few people. The menu is massive! There’s a lot of options but don’t be daunted by it! There’s also a whiteboard near the register with house specials.
I got the carne asada place with corn tortillas. It was delicious! For only $ 10, I got so much food! There’s also a salsa bar on the side with a bunch of options.
The man that was working the register is also really nice. Overall, this place is awesome! Next time, I might try a burrito too!

I love this place! I’ve had the tortas, acai bowl and fruit bowls here. The fruits are so fresh. The acai bowls are HUGE with lots of acai, honey, granola, bananas, blueberry and strawberries. They are more than worth the price you pay. The tortas are also huge, filling, and have soft, easy to chew bread. There’s also a salsa bar. I’m excited for my next meal here.

Really love this place! Fresh Fresh Fresh!!! Love their veggie burrito! They allowed me to ask for black beans instead of refried and all the little modifications I like to make to make my veggie burrito as healthy as I like, meaning no sour cream please and black beans! This place and their condiment bar blew me away! Their burrito was delicious and bursting with flavor and since my girlfriend works right around the corner I know I will be a regular here! She introduced me and I plan on sneaking over here more often after dropping her off for daily appts!

I really enjoyed this place. It’s so fresh and the food is good. I can taste that they made that pico today! The salsa bar is awesome and there are so many choices to condiment your food with. I really enjoyed their carne asada fries although they could of cooked them a bit longer cuz the fries were a little under cooked. My boyfriend enjoyed his veggie burrito and loved that they let him customize it with black beans instead of refrieds. This is right around the corner from my work and I will be a frequent customer that is for sure! Easy access off of Grand Ave and private parking lot!

HUGE portions, loaded with fresh and delicious fruit. the Acai is tasty and a great consistency.
I wish it was closer and I would frequent this place, but for now it will be my «go-​to» in PB.

5 stars for their ACAI bowl! It was SSOOOO GOOODD and trust me, I’ve tried A LOT. For $ 6.85 the portion is the biggest I’ve seen from anywhere else. It’s huge! The acai texture is not the thick sorbet texture, they mix it with either apple juice or soy (your choice) and doesn’t melt as fast as other places. It’s still cold and icy and fresh until the end! Only a bit melted as I was finishing it up. The acai tastes a little tart and not overly sweet like other places. Also they give you a bunch of fruits! They’re also very fresh! I’ve finally found the one. Don’t change your acai bowl please
Also, I was skeptical of this place at first due to the bad reviews but staff was extremely friendly and I got my order pretty fast.
