I have been to a lot of wax studios, sugaring parlors, etc. and now that I’ve found Apotheke, I will never go anywhere else! Erica is amazing! I completely look forward to my appointments with her. She makes the process as painless as possible, she’s so fun to talk to, their pricing is extremely reasonable considering the quality of and experience and service and the end product is perfect. Fantastic facial with Erica! The customized version was perfect and she was spot on with all of her recommendations. I always appreciate someone who truly listens and doesn’t just try to sell you products you don’t need. The location is super convenient and parking is easy. I was in a bit of a bind right before Halloween. I call and Erica was able to fit me in! I have really thick and bushy eyebrows. It usually hurts a lot when I get waxed. Erica was quick and gentle! The end result was amazing and I am glad I was able to find her! No breakouts either which usually happens to me. Erica knows how to make you feel comfortable and fun to talk to!

I LOVE Natalie at Apotheke! I followed her from her previous location and I’m so glad that I did. This location has better parking and is more convenient for me anyways! She always offers a water or beer (if in stock ;-) which is so sweet! I actually look forward to getting waxed because I get to catch up with Natalie. Natalie and Erica even went to Las Vegas to attend a skin care expo to stay up to date. Natalie is passionate about skincare and will make recommendations that are truly personalized. For example, I get Brazilians every 4 – 5 weeks, and at one of my appointments, she said, let’s wait one more week. I’m so glad I did, because the wax turned out amazing after the wait! I’ve seen Natalie for Brazilian & eyebrow waxes since summer 2013… she is a perfectionist & an amazing person! When my best friend moved to San Diego, I sent her to Natalie and she is now a loyal customer as well! :)

I’ve never had so many compliments on my skin since I started seeing Natalie for my Esthetician needs. She is very knowledgeable about which products to use on my super sensitive skin during facials and recommends a proper home care regimen. Natalie is a skin care genius. She’s super knowledgable and down to earth. From the wax to the botanical-​based facials, the products used are amazing. My husband commented that my skin was glowing and that I smelled soooo good — thank you oxygen facial. I thought I would miss a big spa experience, but I’m now sold on this little gem!

I was visiting family in Del Mar and had planned to try getting a brazilian wax. I was 6 months pregnant and shaving was getting to be not an option. Lol. I found Apotheke on Unilocal and decided to check them out. It was super easy to book an appointment online, the building was very nice and right off the freeway. I saw Erica for my wax. I told her I had only my eyebrows waxed before and she gladly explained the process. She was quick, and constantly checked in on me in between our conversation. I also decided to add on a customized facial after talking with Erica about my dry skin. The facial was amazing! I was soooooo relaxed, the products she used smelled of lavender, and my skin was left hydrated and glowing. I also bought a cleanser while I was there. The lavender in the cleanser smelled so good I had to take it home! Will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

I go to Erica for my Brazilian waxes and I love her. Mind you I travel from Otay Ranch to get to her. So she must be special… lol
We all know that when it comes to the jay jay… you need to be very comfortable with the person who is doing your Brazilian. Comfort is the main focus from Erica to her clients. And she’s consistently checks in with me if she’s used a different wax or new products. It’s nice to know that she’s actually concerned.
The business:
This little jewel is so perfect. The building that it’s in is easy to find, easy to access of of the freeway, and always has plenty of parking. I love it because it’s discreet. No one looks at me when I’m leaving like… «ohhhhh she just went and got her jay jay waxed»
Business conduct:
They make it super easy to schedule and you even get a confirmation text. When I arrive at my appointment, I get in and out without feeling rushed. No one likes a Brazilian that takes forever. Erica is great about getting the job done quickly but with attention to detail.
Man listen, you’ll have a great experience. Great conversation and awesome service. Not to mention the studio is beautiful and SUPER clean. I always feel like we should go have lunch afterwards together… but then I remember… she’s seen my jay jay. Lmmfao.

I was referred to Apotheke by a friend and I was not disappointed! It was my first time getting a Brazilian wax and of course I was terrified but Erica made me feel comfortable and the wax was quick. The room is spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. Looking forward to continue getting waxed and trying their facials!

Apotheke is wonderful and Natalie is amazing! I started seeing her almost 2 years ago at a previous location that was right around the corner from my house, but I was more than happy to follow her when she opened up her own facility. I see her predominately for brazilians, but have also received multiple facials from her. Her waxes are virtually pain free, she uses high quality products which she tailors to your skin type, and the results are always fantastic. Another thing to note is that she cares more about helping people obtain the results they want from their skin than selling/​pushing products, which I have experienced at other studios and other estheticians.
I would recommend these ladies to everyone!

These ladies never disappoint! Between their expertise in waxing, which is such a sensitive event to begin with, & their specialization in custom facials… I have never been anything less then thoroughly impressed!
Aside from being skilled estheticians these ladies take it upon themselves to truly care about their clients! I am not just another wax or another facial but they always make me feel like a friend when I am in!

I love this place. Erica is an amazing esthetician. I met her when I had my first Brazilian. She made me feel relax and at ease. Now, I cannot live without a Brazilian every few weeks and I see Erica each time. I have never seen anyone else and have no inclination to go to another esthetician because Erica is awesome. She is so good that I only see her for my facials also. My skin is glowing.
Erica finally open her own place with her equally talented partner to provide better customer service to their clients. I promise that you will never feel as comfortable with any other ladies as you will feel with Erica and her partner. You will not regret visiting Apotheke. (The name is super cool.)
