i signed up for Unilocal JUST TO REVIEW THIS PLACE!!! And MAY-​the Seamstress!!! AMAZING, EXCELLENT QUALITY WORK FOR ALL TAYLOR/​SEAMSTRESS NEEDS, AFFORDABLE, FRIENDLY!!! I got Referred by the TRUE RELIGION store in Fashion Valley where I purchased a pair of Jeans, and wanted to shorten their length.
MAY is an AMAZING SEAMSTRESS!!!
The BEST Story I can share, is when I tried to ‘Whiten’ a friends Baseball cap. He LIVED in this hat, He had it for YEARS… Got it at his First Yankees game with his Dad back in New York… The Sentimental Value behind this Hat is PRICELESS…
It literally DISSOLVED when I had Left it soaking in Oxyclean and water for several days… I was Frantic… I took it to May, who initially didn’t think she could repair it,
I must have rambled on for 15 minutes about the Sentimental Value of this
hat, and how afraid I was of what his reaction would be,
I said I would Pay ANYTHING!!! I will tell you this… She listened and didn’t look at me
like I was Crazy:) and She Said she would Do her Best… In just TWO DAYS–
She Sowed it all BY HAND!!! she did the IMPOSSIBLE~~SHE REPAIRED IT!!!
My friend is back to WEARING IT EVERY DAY!!! :)
What I will Always Remember, and why I’ve FOREVER gone back,
is that even when I was desperate, and offering to pay anything, and I probably would have, She still charged me a MODEST Price… That’s something you don’t find very often, Just a Very Fair Price for REALLY EXCELLENT WORK!!!
And their SO NICE AT THAT STORE! When I’ve been running a little late to pick something up or drop something off, if you call ahead of time, they will try to wait for you!!:)
She even Helped me Totally RECREATE a bridesmaid dress into a FUN Dress that I brought with me to wear to a LAS VEGAS Show Recently! Very Affordable! She’s Tailored my Work Scrubs (I got several pair from my sister that were to big for her… for those in the health field, you know how expensive scrubs can be!
I’m never going to go anywhere else!

One of the best alteration businesses I’ve come across in years! They are pretty much the go to shop to put on patches on Jiu Jitsu Gi’s, take a pair of pants in to reduce the waistline or adjust a seam… They have excellent prices, are fast, courteous, and have always come through on their promised deadlines to have their work completed. My only knock is the parking, and that’s not necessarily their fault. They’re located in a very busy strip mall with not enough parking for all the businesses to provide their customers with.
