Angeles Family Dentistry

The same thing happened to me as in Mike M’s review. I have never had cavities before and decided to get a cleaning here. They said I had 8 cavities and should get at least 4 of them fixed that same day. I refused and seeked another dentist’s opinion. After seeing two additional dentists, I still do not have any cavities and am glad I did not let them swindle me.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Angeles for the last 8 years. He has helped me so many times, from just doing regular cleaning to performing root canal and crowning. Last month I went to see him for an early cleaning because one of my teeth really bothered me. Later on I found out that I had some abscess on this particular teeth. Knowing I was going to be out of town for a week, Dr. Angeles quickly injected some medicine to prevent the abscess to spread even more. Even though he was very busy, he scheduled an immediate surgery as soon as I came back in town. The whole surgery went really smoothly and I healed really well. I am so thankful that he acted so quickly and my abscess didn’t become worse than it was. I highly recommend Dr. Angeles to everyone who is looking for a professional dentist. All his staff are always very friendly and helpful. Another plus of his place is it is very clean and neat.

Dr Angeles is a fair and honest dentist. My family has been seeing him for four years now. He takes an approach that offers us many options to save money. He’s been great for our family and we never have to wait!

Decided to come here with my family when our family dentist recently passed away. Bad decision. I go for a check-​up and the dentist says I have 7 cavities that need to be taken care of. I have never had one cavity in my life so of course I’m pretty shocked. Unfortunately for me I let them work on me for 3 of them and decide to come back to fix the rest. I check out another dentist and they say I have no cavities… needless to say avoid this place unless you want to pay for services you don’t need.

Dr. Angeles reminds me of my dad’s compadres. .. the ones that just smile and nod at you. And you wonder what they’re thinking. Hm.
The gals/​aunties in the office are sweet and friendly. It’s nice to come to a Filipino business in my neighborhood and not be bombarded with the latest tsismis or questions about your family that you know will be spread around town. Dr. Angeles sticks to business— x-​ray, clean, examine… out in ½ an hour.
