Amara Wellness Center

Was supposed to meet up with my friend for lunch, they gave me the wrong address after I had parked at this giant behemoth of a building. Me being curious decided to go inside, I just happened to go into the second floor. As I walk out the elevator, something in my head was calling me to walk into this one particular room. I followed my instincts and it led me here. My senses couldn’t handle the atmosphere, I was like a cat inside of a box. I decided to sit down and got really comfortable, all of these friendly people kept greeting me and saying hello. This was too much to handle so I slouched more into the chair. My eye caught the water cooler and that’s when I knew that everything was worth it, I grabbed a cup of water and left. I did not regret my sudden curiosity, as I walked I vowed to come again and see what else this place has to offer.

I have used Amara Wellness Center as a place to facilitate mind-​body skills groups. It is a beautiful, comfortable and cozy space. Many of my participants are pleasantly surprised at the ambiance once they walk through the door, since it is located in a fairly corporate-​looking high rise. The waiting room is comfortable with soft relaxing music, integrative health literature, and hot tea or filtered water. There are so many great services and events offered at Amara Wellness Center, it is a real hub in an up and coming neighborhood for upscale holistic health services and eateries. Easily accessed by the surrounding communities of La Jolla, Pacific Beach, UTC, Bay Ho, and Clairemont. Ample parking. I highly recommend using this venue for your integrative or natural health event or workshop.
I have also utilized some of the services at this location such as shen therapy with Ayleyaell, yoga, natural health lectures, and a medical intuitive reading. The practitioners and services offered here are top notch and a great value for the personal growth gained.

Bonnie was really helpful and understanding during our nutrition consultations. Especially given I am a picky eater and quite stubborn about changing habits. She is very warmhearted and educated about her field. You can tell she is passionate about what she does.
