KINGOFEXPIREDFOODS This place is ghetto and f@$!# horrible. I bought soy milk to eat with cereal and it made me sick for a weeK. Come to find out it had been expired for year. I went to the hospital and then i asked for them to pay my hospital bill they sorry we cant.

Why do I keep coming back to the 99 cents store? I come back because they have my favorite snack food«Sunflower Seeds» for 99 cents. I come back because they have gardening items for 99 cents. I come back because they have gift wrapping supplies for 99 cents. I come back because they have«reading glasses», yes I said it «reading glasses» for 99 cents. I come back because they have assorted seasonings for 99 cents. I come back because now they carry a selection of food items for 99 cents. I come back because you can find some pretty cool bargains: hardware items, cleaning supplies, automotive supplies, home décor items, office supplies, snack foods and more for 99 cents. This store gets pretty busy because it is in a great location. Be prepared to wait in line, but they do move fairly quickly.

You can’t be things for .99… The only thing about this place is that the line can get VERY long and I get so tired of waiting in line for 20 min… Customer service is ok they really don’t offer help and care much, they just want to scan your stuff and get you out.

I like this location a lot, even if too far from me, I like to go there from time to time to see and meet more variety of people. Like yesterday, for example, I met Ricardo Luis, half Cuban half Porto Rican, who I casually encounter checking phone covers and who after introducing himself in Spanish gave me the full repertoire of Latin clubs in San Diego area. 99 cents store that is worth gold! I got fresh produce at much cheaper price that in most grocery stores. One great finding was excellent French chocolate, 99c each bar!!! Those are high gourmet quality, I know what I am talking about! Also got stocked with hair color boxes made in Korea. Ok, is not L’Oreal but the end result is the same or better(Koreans are known for their high standards in cosmetics and the Halsa brand does not disappoint at all). Also got 5 pairs of pretty socks, not sure if imitation Polo brand, but for sure really cute.

I just moved from Hawaii and feel that discovering this store, has been another blessing from God. In Hawaii I was paying like 75 dollars a week on groceries. I shop here — tops 27 bux per week. Of course my roomie and I split milk and eggs, but for the most part, the food is up to date, and I can find everything I am looking for. I do not buy alot of name brand things anyway, but this will do as I rebuild from the financial horror of Hawaii. My cart was weird one day, but I swapped it out for another. Get this, they even have imitation perfume for 1 dollar. Score! I originally went in for hair conditioner and body lotion, but I quickly graduated from shopping basket to cart, realizing that I was in HEAVEN. Within a week, I was buying all my supplies and groceries here. I’m literally talking about 7 bags of groceries for 27 bux! I have purchased beans, lemons, zuchinis, bananas, tomato sauce, peanut butter, toilet paper, soda, etc. The only issue… I bought their cocoa butter lotion, and put it all over, and smelled like a chocolate bar all day. But if that is all that is bad I cannot dock this place any STARS! WHOLEFOODS — forget you, you are nutz. I’m never paying 7 dollars for a gallon of milk again! Adiós! 99 Cent Store — You Rock and You HAD Me At Hello!!!

This place is awesome great place to start off at when your grocery shopping or just need things for any occasion you’ll be surprised with what they have. The best time to shop here is early in the morning they have great things they bring out sometimes you’ll see a swarm of moms just waiting by the freezers waiting for the workers to come out with stuff, best things I’ve found we’re simply orange juice, ghiradelli candy bars, 40 piece quiche party trays and several other things. The cashiers are surprisingly friendly.

I just love their«Awesome» cleaning products from this store. From carpet cleaner to a degreaser. You should try it! The only thing I hate about this store is that the lines are usually long and most of the employee’s do not seem to speak English. Other than that it is a clean and good store. «Awesome is the brand name of the cleaning product»

Always a line but always find more than I’m looking for at a cheap price. I could spend an hour inside browsing through each isle. Each month stocked with new inventory. Each holiday filled with great décor purchases.

I’m a 99 cents only store addict, and this is my favorite one. I like this location because I can go to Costco, Home Depot and Food4Less all at the same time. I always find what I’m looking in this store, as opposed to some of the others. The aisles are always clear, and the employees try to keep things neat. But I try to stay out of here because I spend so much money. But I do buy as many as I can of the poor neglected succulents. They’re much happier living with me.

Im always here, I come here for groceries, produce(wich isnt that bad most times), cleaning supplies, Gifts. anything FUN pretty much. I enjoy searching for whats new and good here. And they have everything. movies, tool’s, medicine, vitamens, soymilk, oriental flavored top-ramen, gift wrap, air freshener, candy, vegan cookies, crazy glue… I can go on… and on. but the only hell part of this place is the long check out lines and sometimes the crowded aisles… the workers seem freindly enough here… Im not gonna lie, the other customers seem a bit ghetto but who cares. your getting everything you need and only spending a fraction of what you would at another grocery store… I dont know why I shop other places sometimes. I always try to come her first if I can. Also if your ever throwing a party on a budget, we just came from there and only spent 14 bux on my freinds day of the dead party and got skull’s, religious candles, streamers, tiki torches, and skeleton candies, plates and forks and fake flowers. I love this place!
