When we first moved in we were told the construction would be completed in six months. Well, we’re here for a year and half and it’s still very much on. We like our apartment, it’s spacey and light. Maintenance request are handled pretty quick but not very officiant. The water shut offs are pretty much an regular occurrence, leaks are routine. There is never enough parking spaces available because there is always a certain area, 10 spaces or so, that is tow away zone due to never ending construction. The gate was taken off several times because they couldn’t get it to work properly. It still doesn’t from time to time. They tell you the swimming pool is heated and it’s not. They heat it from time to time. During the painting of the hall ways we were not allowed to enter or exit our homes. of course , like everything else here, it couldn’t be complete in timely manner. The elevators are not inspected forever. The manager of the apartment complex is very arrogant without any honest effort to provide help and support. Whatever your complain, she’ll let you know she menages for 30 years, she knows her job, and you’re talking nonsense. The assistant manager is very nice, professional but obviously not allowed to do her job since she looks like she’s scared of the manager and has no executive power at all. Like she’s there only to smile. You will never be taken seriously. It’s so obvious they just don’t care. They still increased the rent and started charging for the parking in the garage. But we have to say that the place does look much better than before. The neighbors are nice, the area is beautiful. It’s very quiet at night. The management requires order and discipline from it’s tenants, but fails miserably to assure quality service back.

If you have been thinking about moving here… don’t. Now«Fourth Ave Apartments» I am glad I only lived here one year. Upon moving in I was told construction would be completed within 6 months. I believe it still drags on. There were constant plumbing issues, leaks(serious leaks), and limited parking(due to construction vehicles and clumps of dirt taking up spots). Lights were left dangling from wires in the hallways, workers entered my apartment without previous notice(and left items behind), and the building itself was not secure. I was surprised one day when I went to throw away garbage, only to find a man inside the garbage container! How does that happen when there are locked gates? Additionally, there was no handicapped entry in the front – is that legal? For a property of that size I would also advise them to have a better after-hours service solution. One repair guy who lives 30 minutes away isn’t the greatest option, particularly when your ceiling is raining down from a broken pipe. The only positive thing I have to say is that the service guys were nice. Happy to be out and in a better facility. The only reason this place keeps tenants is because of the location – which is awesome.
