Wahoo’s Fish Tacos

Salmon bowl with Aoli sauce was amazing. A healthy choice. Don’t forget to add Mr. Lee spicy sauce on the side. It was a perfect combination for lunch.

Wahoo’s is consistant and affordable healthy food. We eat here often and have always had excellent service and food. The staff is warm and welcoming. I would recommend Wahoo’s.

Wahoo’s is great wherever you go. This location is extra special because Roberto, the manager, and his team makes everyone feel special. We recommend their Fish Tacos, Baja Rolls and Maui Rings

I frequent Wahoos and order the same thing every time. This time we placed our order as a group. I asked for 2 wet classic burritos with green sauce and a side of rice and beans while my party ordered other items. The male cashier repeated our order and missed a couple things. So we repeated our order and also repeated that we wanted the burritos wet with green sauce. They start bringing food to our table and we ask the waitress if they have cheese, she replies no. We go to the front counter and ask for cheese and the manager teaches us to order it at the counter next time. Once we got our burritos they were completely wrong. They were not wet, they had the beans and rice inside the burrito and not on the side. We tell the waiter and he says he’ll fix it. I go up to the counter to clarify with the cashier. The cashier was really rude saying that I did not tell him that’s what I wanted. I was extremely nice and civil this whole time but he was being very condescending. I clarified that a classic burrito was meat and lettuce inside, no beans or rice. He said that’s not what I said but he would fix it. I go back to my table and a couple minutes later the cashier comes and embarrasses me in front of my group saying that I didn’t tell him I wanted a wet burrito and it was an extra $ 2.16. I was so embarrassed that I started fumbling for my wallet while he was staring at me. After paying him, we wait for our burritos. When they came to the table they were still wrong. All they did was put green sauce on the old burrito and it still had the beans and rice inside. Embarrassed to say something again we just ate it. I work in retail and I completely understand that mistakes happen but I have never had anyone go out of their way to embarrass me or tell me I’m wrong. The cashier and manager embarrassed me, they treated me rudely and had no regard to correcting a mistake. I had such a bad experience but I was very polite and kind to them even when I was frustrated. Unfortunately, they couldn’t do the same for me.

Wahoos. How can you go wrong here? Only if you order too much and not finish what you order. Excellent service, friendly staff, great food.

Great fish and shrimp tacos. Delicious enchiladas with green and red sauce. Top notch service especially to the guy who served our food and happily got us more salsa, limes, and hot sauce. We always tip him because he deserves it! Friendliest service and yummy food. Tofu banzai quesadilla is my vegetarian favorite dish!

I love this place! Great food, fair prices, and a really friendly staff! The chicken quesadilla is really good as well as the fish tacos.

I love fish tacos so when I saw this place across the way from trader joes I just had to try it out. The staff is so nice but they neglect to tell me that my children bean cheese burritos were made with black beans! With black beans on the side with rice. My fish taco was also not the best it was missing flavor. Sorry I tired to like this place but after dealing with two kids meltdowns on why their order came with black beans and eating plain tacos we just have to say Nope not coming back.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is excellent I highly recommend the Maui Bowie with spicy chicken.

I’m not sure what has happened to this wahoo’s location… but, stay away. They started using a different type of beef. The other day we ordered three Maui bowls and all three were inedible. The meat tasted as though it had been frozen. Thawed. Frozen. And thawed again. Disgusting. I will not be back. I used to love wahoo’s. This has freaked me out and I refuse to try another wahoo’s again. Yes. It was that bad.

Wow! This place brings a beach aspect to a Mexican style restaurant that is just fantastic. I tend to normally get the beans and rice with their salsa. Also the restaurant is kind of divey but serves alcohol as well and I found that to be a nice twist to normal dive Mexican places in Orange County.

I love the food just a little too pricy for what you get I think. I would try to Kale kai salad. So good i loved it so much!!!

HEALTH HAZARD! DON’T EVER EAT HERE! Completely ruined my weekend, as well as, Valentines Day. I came in w/​my partner and two nephews to eat lunch. My partner and I ordered the exact same thing, Outer Reef Burrito w/​carne asada, and split the chicken taquitos. Later on that evening we both became SEVERELY ILL, throwing up and diarrhea all night and into the morning. We were completely bed ridden until Monday morning (ate there Saturday). I can’t even remember the last time I had food poisoning, let alone that horrible. I don’t even « Unilocal,» but this pissed me off so bad that I felt so inclined to warn the public. Don’t waste your money or 2 days of your life getting horribly sick off this subpar food.

These 5 stars go to Rafael, he is seriously such a hard worker. Every time I go in he is so welcoming and nice. He’s attentive, always asking if we need anything. Refills are drinks when there low… When I could perfectly go do it myself. Not to mention he makes it very personable and uses and REMEMBERS my name when addressing me. That man deserves a raise, I’m sure I’m not the only one who has been lucky enough to get his wonderful service!

This place continues to exceed expectations. The service is outstanding — I have never been to a place where they are as friendly and go out of their way to greet you, check on your experience and thank you for coming.
Went today with my daughter and son. I had the Banzai burrito and it was great. My son had the fish bowl as did my daughter and both really enjoyed their mean. I like the fact that you can get your choice of meat with any dish. The grilled fish and grilled chicken options are also very healthy alternatives!

We have been eating at the SC location since we moved here in 1998 and Wahoos never disappoints! Fresh, healthy food that’s tasty at a good price. We are here at least once a week. Pretty much have tried everything on the menu and it’s all tasty. Favorites are: fish tacos, blackened chicken wahoos salad, outer reef burrito, and surprisingly good Maui onion rings.
To top it off the staff is always super friendly and go out of their way to greet customers and say goodbye! Roberto is the store manager and always checks in to ensure all is well. It’s so refreshing to have staff that is so upbeat and customer oriented, so many times a good dining experience is dragged down by grumpy staff.

Also a big fan of the #2, but mine is brown rice… black beans, cheese enchilada with green sauce and a grilled fish taco. PERFECTION! This location is bright and clean and the staff is super friendly. I love the outdoor seating here also.
This is one of my favorite Wahoo locations. I love Wahoo, because I can eat healthy and still get the delicious factor!

first time there got free meal. Hd #1 w steak taco. Was very cordy n chewy. gaggy. if go bk w try chicken taco. just hd all rice n it was fine. little expensive but ok. staff seemed polite n some1 was always cleanin. good sign there.
