Great service at this location with great outside seating area. Easy to get to from 5 Frwy when you need a cup.

Pretty nice as far as Starbucks go. Plenty of outlets and good wifi. I got a passion fruit sparkling iced tea which was very refreshing. Clean and comfortable. If you need Starbucks fix(or Internet) I would go here.

The barista adam is a dick wad, when I order something it’s not my fault that you have multiple things to do, but if I’m asking about my sandwich it’s because I’ve been waiting for a long time, and I just want to make sure that mine wasn’t forgotten. Taylor tho was awesome and kind and made sure that I did get everything I ordered.

Sometimes you just want a holiday coffee and since that is what Starbucks does I keep going in thinking each time the service will be better or that the way they make it will be at least somewhat similar to the best one I had at some point. I am now consistently disappointed in both the service and the coffee. No more trying to see if it’s better anymore!

One of the least knowledgeable or efficient Starbucks I gave have ever been to. I have been here a few times and each time has been less than satisfactory. Today I came in and ordered a London Fog. The barista was clueless, left me at the register and went to ask someone else how to make the drink. The other person, explained to her what to do. Instead of taking the rest of my order, she started to make the drink without seeing if I had a thing else to add. I was left at the register just waiting … In all it took over 20 minutes to get my drink. There were 5 staff members there and only 3 people in line before me. I have no idea how anyone at this Starbucks gets anything done. Thank you Amanda and George for making me wait an unreasonable amount of time for a drink that was not made to my specifications. A tea latte should not be a foreign concept at a coffee shop.

John the barista was so nice when helping me with my complicated white-girl order. My americano with one shot of espresso was one of the best I’ve ever had. Thanks for your help John!

Probably the biggest Starbucks I’ve ever seen outside of Manhattan. I really liked this place. Big lot, lots of patio space, and spacious interior. The service was good although the coffee wasn’t has hot as I would have liked. It had a really nice and relaxed vibe and the customers seemed to be regulars because everyone was chilln’ with their Macbook Airs & headphones. Wish I lived closer.

I can imagine that working at Starbucks is not so easy. The work is one thing but then you have to deal with some pretty rude customers and these people working here are all Super nice and do their jobs well. Never had an issue here and I can’t imagine that if I did have one that any of the staff would not try their best to correct it. Remember, these are people working here and like«all of us» we have our good and bad days. So if someone is not as chipper as they have been for the past two months maybe just grab your drink and keep it moving. Life is short so get a tall drink and enjoy your day… This is a nice place with an Awesome staff that works hard for you/me… Thanks!

Cute location! Needed a coffee stop on the way to San Diego so we exited and found this Starbucks. Nice seating area outside the shop. We arrived around 10:45am on a Sunday morning and this place was packed! Lines almost reached the restroom. We only waited about 5 minutes for our drinks. My colleague also ordered a blueberry scone which they typically give right away. seems they forgot about it as we had to remind them. When we asked one of the barista’s she just seemed annoyed! I ordered a grande strawberry acai refresher, fizzed. There was too much water and too little strawberry flavor =(boo. Private parking lot in the back.

I love this Starbucks. It’s close to my gym and has a huge outdoor area with cushioned sofas and umbrellas. At certain tables you have an ocean view. Inside, lots of room.

Good service, consistent flavor and quality as with most SB. Pretty busy each day we were there, the line was 10+ deep. The bathroom and sugar-cream-napkin bar area could use a little attention, however with the constant foot traffic it probably is hard.

I keep stopping by this Starbucks with hopes that my experience will be different than the last. The staff here is simply not trained on how to properly execute their own menu. I order straight off the menu, nothing custom, it has NEVER been right. Then I receive attitude for asking them to redo the drink, and it’s still not correct. I am not one of those customers who thinks I’m always right, simply want what I paid for. This location in particular is due for a complete inspection on quality control and customer service. I love Starbucks, it’s too bad I cannot patronize the location closest to my home. Because of this I have started checking other coffee houses in the area and other areas I travel. There are some awesome alternatives out there.

Surlybucks. Starbrats. Shartbucks. We are long time locals and these are our affectionate pet names for this Starbucks location. Originally from Seattle, I have had so many great Starbucks experiences and I am sad to say that the entirety of this location is not one of them. It does not suffer from a rude and inexperienced staff member because this Surlybucks has been in business for years. No, this suffers from poor management. How do I know this? I have spoken to the manager. Right after I was done talking to her, she very rudely berated a mentally handicapped woman to put a vest on her service dog(she apparently forgot that morning) or she wouldn’t be allowed to come back. So many times I have been here I have been ignored while barista’s socialize in the drink making area to the right of the cash registers. Quite often my coffee is burned or the order is incorrect and the staff uncaring of their mistake. Today was the icing on the cake that made me write this review. I walked in and stood at the counter. One of the barista’s walked by, glanced at me, and continued on to the back where she grabbed something from the stock shelf. She walked all the way back, put it in the drink order area and then started a very loud conversation about her sex life with another barista. Not only had I been waiting a significant amount of time, but I had my son with me. Thank God he is too young to remember any of this… After they finished their little educational talk, one of the barista’s behooved herself to come and take my order. I tried to order a handcrafted drink, which, at any other location would not have been a problem. I have had people put pumpkin spice in chais or frappucinos, dirty chai lattes, raspberry mochas, and all kinds of different drinks. Usually, as long as you tell the barista what you want, it’s not a problem. I asked for their special birthday promotion frappucino and instead of using hazelnut flavor(it was a blend of vanilla and hazelnut with whipped cream on top) to use strawberry. Nope. Too hard. She kept trying to offer me a strawberry frappucino. After finally realizing there was absolutely no way they could blend vanilla and strawberry together to make a frappucino, I ordered an iced chai tea latte. Go on, guess, what I got. I know the suspense is killing you. I got a grande iced milk with a dash of chai tea. I should have suspected something was off when the beverage I was handed was super light in color, but when I thanked the girl who made my drink all she had to say was, «Yeah.» I didn’t think she would be at all sympathetic that my drink was not made to expectation or that I had just paid $ 4 for cold milk. Normally, I don’t write reviews for chains because their reputations stand and people who love them will go and people who don’t won’t, but as a Seattlelite and proud supporter of Starbucks, I am ashamed that this store is connected to one of the great icons of Seattle. Realistically, this location will not go out of business because, hey, it’s Starbucks. It’s an international chain but I have literally had better Starbucks experiences in China where I had to order using Google Translate. I sincerely hope that the owner and district manager read this review(as well as others) and change management. I am so happy Bear Coast Coffee is now open on Del Mar. Their coffee and service are far superior.

Located right off the 5 Freeway on Presidio Avenue and El Camino Real, you will find one of the best Starbucks you will ever visit. They open really early which is a plus if you are traveling to either Los Angeles or San Diego as it is conveniently located right in the middle of these two great cities. Newly remodeled with plenty of space inside to sit, work on your laptop and enjoy your coffee or if you prefer the outdoors, a beautiful, clean, and quaint patio will be found with plenty of comfy chairs, sofas and tables. The patio also boast some water fountains which offer a soothing sound as you enjoy your perfectly crafted coffee. The place gets really busy throughout the morning, day, and evening, and who can blame the fact that people flock to this beautiful town, but the baristas are always on point and get your order to you quite fast so don’t get discouraged by the long line. The baristas are always friendly and provide stellar service and are absolutely wonderful and they work as a fluid team to get your drink to you fast. And you can’t expect any less as San Clemente is full of really friendly people. So next time you are traveling north or south on the 5 Freeway, take a break from the traffic, visit this beautiful Starbucks, grab a coffee and take a stroll through the nearby Downtown and gives those legs a stretch and give in to some wonderful coffee !! Super convenient and super amazing service to get you right back on the road.

I had purchased a Living Social deal for a 2-night stay in San Clemente. I was stoked when I arrived and found this Starbucks literally a short walk away from my Motel room. I started every morning and ended every evening at this Starbucks. This Starbucks is located right on the corner of South El Camino Real & Avenida Rosa. This Starbucks has an amazing outdoor patio and if timed right offers an incredible view of the sunset. The inside of this Starbucks is just as nice as the outside. This location offers large comfortable lazy boy style cars, playing beach vibed music & even offers a community board for locals to post messages & services. I was pleased with the level of service I received during each one of my visits. The staff moved well as a team, if there was a line it moved quickly, the store looked clean, smelled clean and the condiment area was spotless. The crowds of people gathering at this Starbucks were just like me, fellow surfers with sandy feet looking to get there Starbucks fix on. The staff working was extremely nice, all had smiles on their faces and I will without question stop by this location again on my next trip to San Diego. I did not see if this location has its own dedicated parking lot either way plenty of street parking was available. The barista here made my ‘San OB’ perfectly and I look forward to visiting them again. If you are traveling south on the 5 freeway this Starbucks is conveniently located right off of the 5 freeway on South El Camino Real. You can get off the freeway, get your Starbucks and be back on the freeway within just a few minutes. Very pleased!!!
