Ocean Breeze Medical Group

Been coming here for years. Friendly staff and Dr. Dov and the Physician assistant are both really attentive and thorough. Plus it has a small, simple beach town vibe which is always nice.

I can always get an appointment soon (if not right away), and I’m in and out in a «breeze.» Doctor Sally is always more than helpful and gets me exactly what I need. I’m so glad I found Ocean Breeze, I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor’s office!

My family just switched insurance from Kiaser so we checked out a few local primary care docs in the area. We chose Dr. Davalos, on Cabrillo, just off El Camino Real. We really like him! He listens, takes his time with you, doesn’t seem to be rushing you out the door, and follows up. My daughter and I wanted to see a female and we were able to be seen by PA Sheri Sharp, who was also excellent. We haven’t had any trouble getting in for appointments in a reasonable time (which we were concerned about coming from Kiaser). Overall, I highly recommend.

Overjoyed with this office. New to the area with a 7 year old daughter, so I checked into several places before taking this recommendation… GRATEFUL we did! We saw Sheri Sharp who is just outstanding. My daughter instantly felt easy around her. She’s gentle, calming, funny, relatable; she knew exactly what was wrong and was efficient. Even reception is super friendly and helpful… we are very happy with these guys.

This place is the worst. They never want to prescribe any medication other than advil or aleve… so save your co pay and just go buy a bottle of over the counter meds. You feel like you’re being interrogated whenever it comes to discussions of narcotic prescriptions. They always want to cut corners and provide the bare minimum of testing. Had me fill out new paperwork, including my pharmacy info, and then proceeded to send my prescriptions where ever they felt like sending them, and did not inform me where it was sent even after i called in to inquire about their whereabouts. Driving all over to 3 pharmacies is not what you want to be doing when you are not feeling well. Also, they never answer their phones. I am always stuck with the «physicians assistant» and have seen the actual Doctor once out of the 3 years i have been going to them.
