It breaks my heart to see this place close. This was our go to for all of our families birthdays and other celebrations. They had great food and lots of beer to choose from. It will be greatly missed!

Out of Business — R.I.P. Been coming to Pudley’s for decades. Will have to find a new burger joint!

I remember Pudley’s when it was in the little plaza off El Camino and Davey Glen(or somewhere close to there). I used to come here as a kid with my dad, and get the hot dog… which I remember as being great. The new location on El Camino… it’s ok. A little dingy-hole-in-the-wall place that only locals usually go to. Burgers are HUGE. My dad still holds a special place in his heart for Pudley’s.

Reasonable blue-collar, friendly sports bar with decent food and a good selection of beers on tap. Maybe slight deterioration in the fish and chips over the past few years(they used to be fantastic), but still OK. A nice, no-fuss, informal place to go; I’ve gone here every now and then for years.

A solid establishment with solid service. Staff are friendly and capable. If you attend you need to try one of the burgers.

Very misleading information about your business for when you CAN and CANNOT get food. I was un aware about the store hours, so I googled Pudleys and their information came up, it said that they were closing soon(10pm) and it was 9:30. I asked if I could place 2 orders TOGO…“sorry we’re closed” is what I got. So when I drove by they were OPEN with patrons inside!!! So I walked in and asked if the grill was open, «no». Sooo FIXYOURHOURS!!! Yes, «Pudleys» closes at 10, but the grill closes at 9:30.

Great burgers, get the gold miner special. Also good beer and other views inside. Large screens to watch games. Locals tend to support this place well over the years. Good place to recover from a day out running around. Only draw back, the cooks can have a bit of an attitude at times when picking up your food, simple ask of sides of ranch dressing or other items can be responded to as if a big deal to complete.

Biggest tastiest burger on the Peninsula. The last true burger joint that hasn’t sold out its blue collar atmosphere for stuck up Stanford MBAs. It feels like burger joints of 30 years ago. Place is wonderful if you wanna get away, have a burger in peace, watch a game, and not be bothered.

Been coming here since 1997, when it was a DIY brew place. the Goldmine is a big burger and beer deal. Pretty good pub food, good beer selection and always friendly staff.

Monster sized burgers, awesome crunchy wings, beer… all that you can ask for in a great burger/bar place. I warned my wife beforehand that this place had some big burgers so we decided to split some burgers with the kids. Two burgers fed the four of us– not too shabby, especially in the wallet. The bacon guacamole burger is hella good. And the wings… I’m a huge fan of crunchy tasty wings even if I needed to order them with sauce on the side– the wife dislikes spicy. We will definitely be back.

Best pub food around! The beers are the right price. Bartenders friendly… especially the blonde British chic! She always remembers us. Food comes out fast hot, and so good! My favorite is the honey chipotle quesadilla and the bf… any burger on the menu! Love this place! Been coming her for awhile. Was time to write the review. Also try their onion rings! Best in town

My Husband and I stopped in last time. Staff was very nice and helpful. The food for a Tavern/Grill was great! I had to try the popular Goldmine special. This is a deal with a 23oz beer, cheeseburger and fires for less than $ 14. It was more then enough food and I really liked it. I will be going back here soon to show this place off to friends and family.

Ok, this is a burger joint, sort of reminds me of some dives in Chicago or something. It has been here for years, and has done well. Do not expect anything mind blowing, but do expect a good burger. I could see a group of people coming here from a saturday softball game, but not a place that I would be going to on a daily basis. They have several different beers, the bar service is slow, and everything else is self serve.

Great happy hour specials, especially during Bay Area Sports games.($ 4.50 for a domestic 22.oz.draft)!! Friendly staff and plenty of tables. This place often gets overlooked, but it shouldn’t. The have several tv’s to watch the game. Definitely try it out.

I hadn’t been here in years! It’s definitely a good place to go for watching the game, and enjoying drinks with friends. Typical bar food, I liked that they offered sweet potatoe fries. Those were very good. My friend got the jalapeño poppers and thought they were just the right amount of heat. She also enjoyed the chili. Pretty decent menu choice for a sports bar. I’d go back again if I was in the area.

Many moons ago, this was the happening spot for Mid-Twenties 650/Peninsula kids but I had not visited for roughly 5 – 6 years before watching the SF Giants Wild Card Game last week.(WOOT) This pub has lots of open tables and an outside area for smoking, but no television out there.(they have an old box TV on a rolling stand that reminded me of elementary school back there… wasnt hooked up) Lots of brews to choose from and plenty of food to get the tummy nice and coated. I ordered a some chicken wings(spicy chipotle) and a side of fries. Super delicious, tender chicken on the inside, crunchy and tangy on the outside. Had a PBR, a Stone IPA, and a Red Ale(didnt catch the name). Given that this was an afternoon Giants playoff game, it was certainly packed so our group got there 45 mins before the rest of the crowd got off work and we had prime tables for viewing. Great atmosphere, a little dive-y but its a great bar that has stood the test of time over the years.

Love this place! Went in the other night and had a great time. They always have every game on from football, baseball, soccer, nascar, you name it. I had a Racer IPA when I was in there but could have chosen from about 15 other beers they have on tap. Bartender was super cool and knew a lot about the beers. There was a big group of us and we all ordered food which came out fast and hot! Nobody likes cold french fries. I ordered the Teriyaki wings which are some of the best I have had in the 650. After we finished eating we hung out for a few more beers and since the football game and baseballs games were over we played the juke box. People were loving it and it was a great vibe. Except for one rude customer who walked out in a huff, I guess not everyone likes music or a good time. To say the least we will be back for sure!!!

I’ve had to have driven by this pub hundred’s of times and yet never having stepped foot in it’s doors. I guess the stops on El Camino will be a little more frequent now. I cam here at Lunch for a World Cup Game with my buddy. This is a place where you go to the counter to order and pick up your food when it is ready. Similar to Jersey Joe’s but with more TV’s, more food selection, more beers. The guy at the registered convinced me to super size my beer for an extra $ 1. Not bad for 23oz instead of 16oz. Lots of beers on tap to choose from. I chose a Crispin Ale. Nice, light and refreshing for a warm afternoon. For the food I got the roast beef sandwich with a jus and sweet potato fries. I would call it a french dip, but I guess it’s an english pub so they don’t reference the French at all. The sandwhich was pretty tasty, good tasting meat and grilled onions. Bread was probably not the freshest but you do get to dip it so that takes care of that for the most part. The sweet potato fries are actually really good. A nice substitution if you are getting any of the entrees. Overall a nice place with a lot of TV’s and drinks to watch a game. They even have a Simpsons pinball machine in back if you were ever looking for one. I didn’t play but might give it a go next time.

this place was ok, the burger was very dry, not juicy at all. it’s not cheap either, $ 10 for a burger. the atmosphere was very dead, not a place that you really wanted to stay and hang out at. this place needs a facelift.

Good place for a lunch if you’re with a group of dudes. Beer is cheap, burgers are big, quality is definitely above average for bar food. Not a destination spot, but definitely worth checking out for lunch if its a slow day at work.
