I have been seeing Litsa for Electrolysis for the past 8 months, and have seen wonderful results. Litsa is very attentive and caring, and highly professional. She takes time with you and explains the process and makes you feel at ease. Litsa has the magic touch, and I am very happy with the results she provided.

Let me start with this. I Lisa did 15 minutes electrolysis on my face and she left my chin all bruised, completely blue. I went to her 2 years ago, it was o’k, but this time she RUINED my face. Her needle felt very harsh and I complained that it was painful. She told me it was close to lip area that’s why I felt it. The second day after electrolysis I woke up with sore and painful skin. When I looked in the mirror it was like a horror movie: every spot her needle went into was burned .My chin was bruised and blue. I called her. Litsa’s first reaction was :”Oh yes, you have sensitive skin“‘. I asked her why she decided to put her machine on the highest heat knowing very well that my skin was sensitive. Her answer:” It was not on the highest, it was just high”. The irony was that she was talking how sensitive my skin was all the time while she was doing the electrolysis. So she decided to try her machine on the highest heat on my sensitive skin? THATWASMYFACE, for God’s sake. How could someone be so irresponsible as a professional? I always had sensitive skin and I have had electrolysis many times and I never ever got anything like this. I didn’t have black thick hair that require high heat. I had few fine, long hair around my chin and few on the sides. You don’t need high heat for that kind of face. I went there and she put me on Red Light treatment hoping that the burns will not leave scars(she herself was terrified when she saw my face) .But the scars are there. It has been 3 weeks and my face is still a mess. Red and scarred. I can not sleep at nights. For 15 minutes of electrolysis I was left with SCARREDFACE. I called her several times demanding my money back. Not only she doesn’t feel responsible for the terrible, awful job she did, she refused to give my money back. Her answer was, Stop harassing me”. WHAT? Can you imagine her level of irresponsibility as a professional? She claims to be the best specialist for 30 years. She RUINS her customer’s face and when the frustrated customer calls her and demands her money back she pretends to be harassed. I read another review about her when a customer is writing how harsh was her needle going into her skin. And when she told Litsa about it asking for a smaller needle, Litsa’s answer was;“‘Don’t worry, your pores are tight”??? BEAWARE of her needles. She will talk for 20 minutes to look knowledgeable and then she will leave you with DESTROYEDFACE.

Yea not too sure about this one. I used Litsa since my electrologist was unavailable but I needed a treatment. She was very nice and accomodating but I bruised after the electrolysis and scabbed at the follicles… something that never happened with my primary electrologist.. I even felt the needle enter into each of the hair follicles which hurt and was very uncomfortable, which never happened before either, I asked her if she could use a smaller needle. Her reply was that my pores were tight…? um ok. so I wont be back for more.

The 5 stars is for the Electrolysis… Litsa is by far the best I have been to. She has many years experience in the business and has a super steady hand. After just a few sessions I am seeing permanent results. It’s a full service salon(hair, coloring, mani/pedis, facials, the works) I am in my early 30’s, so when I walked in I was a little turned off by the looks of the salon. The youngest client was probably in their 70’s, and the place itself looks like it hasn’t changed since the 70’s, except for the nail station, looks new and pedi chairs look great. That being said, after having electrolysis done by Litsa I didn’t care about how the place looked or what clients were there, she is amazing and you will not be sorry. My friends have done laser on their face, but have regretted it. Electrolysis has no scarring, and truly is the only permanent hair removal. You won’t be sorry!

I found Litsa from Unilocal.I called her and she was very knowledgeable about electrolysis. I made an appointment with her for 2 weeks in advance. It was the soonest time that fit into my schedule. I am very busy as I work full time, go to school full time and rehearse with a modern dance group. We made the ½ hour appt for 10AM on a Wednesday and I told her that I had to meet a client at 10:45 down the street. The day of the appointment it took a bit longer than I expected and I was 8 minutes late. It sucks that I was late but I am the client and I was thinking if she has to cut it short it is my fault. So I run into the salon and I thought I was in the wrong place. There was a bunch of little old ladies getting curlers put in their hair by other little old ladies. There was no receptionist and one of the ladies with curlers asked me if I was waiting for Litsa. When I said yes the woman with curlers said Litsa would be with me soon. So I was waiting. I thought perhaps she was in the back room waiting for me. I continued to wait. I started getting nervous then I started getting pissed. Where is she? Did she get into an accident? At about 10:23 a door opened and a man walked out. Then about a minute later an older later walked out and told me that she was Litsa and she would help me after she went to the bathroom. Huh? You are 25 minutes late the first time meeting a client who mentioned she is in a time crunch and the first thing you say is that you are going to make her even later as you go to the bathroom. I was pissed. I told her that she is 25 minutes late for a 30 minute appointment. I told her I have to meet a client in 20 minutes. I couldn’t even think as I was really upset and she kept asking what she could do to make it better. She decided she was going to work on me a bit and not charge me. So immediately she laid me down and spent the next 15 minutes removing hairs. She never did go to the bathroom by the way and I did feel a little bad. In the end I was on time for my client and I did not have to pay a cent. She did remedy the situation and I booked another appoint with her as I felt a little guilty not paying anything. Her place is really close to my office so it is really convenient. I’ll see if it ends up working out. She mentioned that she does answer the phone when she is with clients and I know that is going to irritate me to death. When you pay 40USD for a 15 minute appt it is costing you almost 2USD every time she answers the phone. I had a previous electrolysis that would screen her calls and every once in a while she would answer if it were someone that she was having a hard time reaching. This happened once every 8 visits or so. Anyway she did remedy the situation lets see if anything happens the next time.

Litsa is great, and one of the best electrolysis places I have found on the peninsula. She is always willing to fit me in to her very busy appointment book. She truly cares about her clients.
