Babe Cakes

I reached out to about 7 bakeries and 4 of them were closed for the holidays. The 3 that did get back to me, 1 didn’t customize and out of the 2 that dud, Michelle was the only one that truly got my vision and provided creative ideas. She worked with me every step of the way. It was my son’s 2^nd birthday and I had a party at his school as well as another one for friends and family. I ended up ordering 2 cakes and 4 dozen cupcakes. Both parties were a hit with her custom designs. The school party was baby animals themed cake and the children LOVED it. She made it not sweet on purpose per my request. Then the family party was the octonauts theme and his small cake had each character in detail and 48 mini cupcakes with characters on it. People kept asking for the bakers information for their parties. I’ll be using her again for other events. I highly recommend this vendor for anyone looking for a great tasting cake along with beautiful design and details.

I ordered cupcakes for a coworkers going away, the Amazing Astaire and Beloved Ball, and my entire group went wild. The Reese’s frosting, oh dear goodness is it mind blowing. I’m using every opportunity I have to convince my work to get some more.
My boyfriend loves carrot cake, while I’ll openly admit it isn’t my favorite… For his birthday I decided to surprise him with the Daredevil Dean (carrot cake without raisins or nuts). I can’t lie, it was pretty spectacular. Moist and rich, the cake was beautifully done.
Sadly there isn’t a storefront, you’ll have to order online and Michelle will hand deliver your treats. While they aren’t on her website, Michelle also makes s’mores bars and cookies. If you are looking for a sweet treat, I definitely suggest going with Babe Cakes!

Absolutely love Babe Cakes. I’ve had several cakes and cupcakes made by them and they’re amazing. I’m not a big fan of cakes in general but once I tried Babe Cakes my opinion was easily persuaded. Michelle, is super easy to work with and so accommodating when it came to customizing my orders. I’ve tried Sift, Kara’s cupcakes, and Susie Cakes and none of those places compare to Babe Cakes. The cakes are yes moist, fluffy and full of flavor. The buttercream used for the frosting is to die for. I swear I could just take shots of the frosting alone. I’m such a fan of this new up and coming company and would recommend it to anyone for any event. Plus, they make mini cupcakes too which are fabulous and make me feel less guilty about indulging in sweets!
